what a vague journalism. The reporter is taking side. Perfectly vindicated the 300L students. The blog must be owned by one of the 300L students. So, the authorities are so mean that they would judge a case that poorly. The 300L students must have done something really bad and not expressed in the report. |

cooldude62:She made no good point... Na God dey save person.. Kidnapped victims don't happily enter into their abductors' vehicles. What if the person comes down, secretly points the gun at her and command her to enter the car.... Na God dey save person. |
AnonyNymous:Please give it to God give it to Christ. God is real. I have been in such situations almost at the verge of being an atheist, but thank God who rescued me. There's big difference in what is felt listening to your favourite hip hop artists and what is felt singing and worshiping God. If you are living fine today, you should be living better once God is a subject |
I thought you can't be admitted into the Nigerian universities if you aren't up to 16 years. Or, has it been reduced? Anyways, congratulations! |
jurjur:Love is crazy. When I think about this and many more, I wonder if I can ever fall in love in totality like before. Over wise dey worry me now. I just pity my fiancee because I just love her and not that deep shit I used to feel then. Over Kaku dey worry me now. |
I was about 18 when I was madly in love with a girl. Her name is QUEEN. She broke up with me and I went to her house quite distant from mine. I blocked her by the road side close to her house and begged my ass out. She couldn't bear the sight of the tears that had flooded my sclera and waiting to drop. She forgave me after much pleas. I left for my house happily singing "you are my African QUEEN " On the street of lagos ![]() |

Proudgorgeousga:You spoke my mind. Flirtyjane has concluded already. If you want it to be argued, state it and we will debate science and fiction(spiritual) here. And we will gladly take it as a case scenario. I'm a doctor who also believe in spiritual things. Psychiatry is based on clinical findings. Test results do not give the psychiatry diagnosis away. It's just there to support claims and usually negative in many. Why not take the first step by seeing a psychiatrist and hear what they have to say before going spiritual? If Na to argue. I can argue for and against. So take a chill pill woman |
The Zambian goal was clearly offside. One thing we learnt today... Very poor analysis from OP |
Nice one by the students. They have done pretty well. This will teach the management some lessons. So the rector will have to build it with his money. And his sick child will die from not having a place to visit. Very stupid and dumb students.. What you will definitely pay for and have your stay in the school elongated from school closure till further notice. And probably have more students die from lack of health facility. Is that the best way to address such situations? Always putting round pegs in square holes. |
If an individual could do this, what stops the stupid people we have always had in power from improving the government schools? |

Amarabae:Was he supposed to romance them during war? You want to have your cake and eat it. You killed others and cry for killing you during the war you instigated. You people better live beyond that, so you can grow better |
Where's the boyfriend? |
No solid evidence. Next?! |
Too much talks. Seems this guy is the pained party. |
tosyne2much:Yes sir! You always have my respect |
tosyne2much:You are one Nairalander I respect. But I still need tell you your fault Bro, especially when u cross the line. Like the average Nairalander, you are also of the ideology that humans should be immaculate. And that's what distinguishes medical doctors from other professionals. We don't judge anyone. If we do, patients will be left to die after getting to hear their stories, not even those that we have warned but wouldn't heed. What am I trying to say here? You left the message he was trying to pass(like the average Nairalander will do) and attacked his faults instead. What you should have done was to advise him, which is what he seeks, afterwards, counsel him on what should or not shouldn't be done rightly. You don pass this level baba. #peace Modified : Someone was also teaching a doctor "Rhesus". Lmao! How does that relate to infertility? I don't mention people who don't reason well,I would have mentioned the person. I no get power to dey argue |
casa101:Sir, please seek spirituality. You can achieve this yourself if your are discipline. Fast and pray. I'm a medical doctor too and I followed all you wrote. So, if all you said is true, then u need to go spiritual and forget medicine. Don't mind those people who know nothing about the medical profession especially the tosyne2much guy. Saying trash that your 6 years in school is a waste. There's a thin line between spirituality and science. |
MustiizRaja:Nairalanders will bounce on you now. You better look for dictionary ASAP and edit that crappy post. You self dey call person illiterate |
Hmmmm. About a year ago, when school resumed, my neighbour called me into her house and told me the 14 year old daughter attempted suicide. She had taken some drugs in excess. A sachet of paracetamol and loads of diazepam. She lost her balance and struck the floor screaming. After I had treated her, she confessed to have repeated the SS2 year and was shy about joining the junior class. I know the parents contributed to her stupid ideology which made her not able to bear the shame. Well, I gave an advise to the mum to withdraw her from school and register her in a good tutorial centre to prepare for waec and jamb, as she might still attempt another suicide when she's made to repeat the class with the juniors. And if she was put in another school, she would get fixated and would surely still attempt suicide later in life. She was registered for waec this year and she made her papers. But seeing this news, I think children of nowadays need serious counselling, it used to be a popular thing to repeat a class back then. I will show her mum this news and advise that she wakes her up at least 3 different nights and tell her she made a very wrong decision about the suicidal attempts and make reference to the waec result stating that she wouldn't have given herself a second chance if she had taken her own life. Because, she will still fail a number of times, so she should know how to manage situations |
It's called non-governmental, what's the government business in it. "Government running a nongovernmental Institute" what an oxymoron! When we are talking about the government handling little affairs of the state in the form of restructuring, they are trying to increase it. Nigeria government has failed and we shouldn't take another risk to put something not of their concern in their care. |
RedboneSmith:You are very correct, but sadly that's not the point the OP was trying to create. He only used that as a start up point. And he clearly stated that every tribe might have people who would do the same. His points is embedded in the body of the write-up. Kindly read in between the lines. It's quite an interesting piece and don't judge based on the headlines |
This guy is absolutely correct. Nigeria is a mess and every region is affected one way or the other. The north still remains the poorest region. As high as the allocation to the south south is, the area is not developed. I'm from ilaje in ondo state and that's the oil producing part of the state which makes ondo state get as much as she does, yet that's the poorest part of the state. The problem in this country is deep and should be strongly looked into. No ethnic group should play the victim card. And that's much with the Igbos. Jonathan government was filled with the Igbos and northerners without Yorubas, they didn't scream marginalization. I never knew until during election. Igbo presidency is delayed simply because there isn't one voice among the Igbos. They can't produce a consensual candidate. Let's look deep and discuss the solutions to our problems. There's isn't any fantastic state in Nigeria asides Lagos. Every tribe is a victim one way or the other, it should therefore, not be monopolised! |
nenergy:I can place a bet that you didn't read the post before commenting. ![]() |
Kobicove:I read comments and I'm disappointed. Nairaland is now full of dumbasses. A statement as harmless as that, I'm sure the mum might even swear she never said it because she couldn't have meant it a bit. OP's IQ is alphabet let alone reaching the ideal quotient. The next set of people that commented made matters worse. Just thank God for yourself. At least you get sense. |
