It was not a mistake. I used the name cos the guy in question had a similar type of name.

StateOfMind: The names Op used are not real names, so the mix-up is understandable IMO. Tiwa is more of a feminine name and it got me confused too while reading the original story, taking tiwa to be female.

Op, everything has been sorted and as far as I am concerned, you have no business with the issue anymore. Lesson learnt..pele.
Yea the names are not the real ones. The reason I used those names was to just shed light on where the real people in question originate from and yes i used tiwa cos it is a female name (a similar case cos my pal the guy answers a similar female name).

Family › Re: This Means War: Family Friends Say I Cheated With Daughter..... by drnoel(op):
Its not yet solved but things are getting clearer. Onyinye finally called her husband. Apparantly, her mother-inlaw had asked her some days ago who the father of her child was. They had a row on that which prompted her decision to suddenly visit her parents and as it is, she conviniently lost her fone the day she went to her parents. Which made it difficult for anyone to reach her. She neva imagined that the misyearn would spill into the avalanche it has so far done. She and Tiwa and decided that Tiwa should return next week for moral support and to help make his parents see reason. Onyinye insists her husband owns the pregnancy. She called us apologizing for the things that happened. Onyinye is so hurt that she suggested her husband accompanies her to do a DNA test just so she could silence his parents on the matter.
Anyway, just want to thank people that gave their advice when it was needed.

Family › Re: This Means War: Family Friends Say I Cheated With Daughter..... by drnoel(op):
QueenAw: Op, be very careful. Do not go and see your friend's family alone. People can misbehave when angry. I really can't blame your friend's family for suspecting you. After all, you are probably the only man they have seen around their son's (Tiwa right?) wife. Report the whole incidence to your family ASAP. If possible, go and see them with a member of your family or your wife.
Your friend's wife is not picking calls (probably not just yours) perhaps due to shame. Assuming her pregnancy belongs to someone other than her husband or she's upset her inlaws are accusing her of infidelity. Whatever the cause, that's not your problem now. Sort yourself out before someone pours acid on you!

Meanwhile, send a strong email to your friend informing him of what is going on and the accusations from his family. You had better convince him of your innocence ASAP. Don't forget to mention how shocked and bitter you were at the accusations. I hope he was aware of your visiting his wife and taking her out?

Next time, regardless of how close you can be to someone, do not get too friendly with their wife. If you want to extend some kindness, let it pass through your wife!!
Thanks for your comment.I have done some thinking and am more relaxed. Tiwa called us this morning. He didn't call me directly but preferred to call my wife. I heard my wife's fone ringing while I was taking a shower this morning. I finished, got dressed, then walked into the kitchen, saw wifey talking agitatedly with someone on the fone, she saw me and signalled that I sit opposite her. I obliged then asked her who she was talking to by raising my eye brow (we speak like that sometimes) and she mouthed Tiwa. I frowned but said nothing else. They spoke for anoda 15 mins with wifey angrily telling him to caution his parents and get to the bottom of this misunderstanding if he is unsure that he is the father. Tiwa then asked to speak with me and when I took the fone the first thing he asked me was have u spoken to Onyinye since. I told him "but bros you do expect too much from me". First your parents accuse me of a crime, then they tell people we both know that I slept with your wife, then your wife does an MIA (mind u the only person that could have cleared me) and you expect me to be all nice when the one I have tried has brought me pain. He apologizes for all the problem, says he neva doubted but did have his misgivings knowing how close I was with Onyinye. I told him, look, I am also married and I love my wife besides u should have known I would neva do that to you, or my wife.
Anyway, he hasn't been in contact with Onyinye, he says. He can't reach her since she travelled some days ago so he called her parents today but she was not home. She is to call him back when she returns.

slimyem: Op,i think you should go to Tiwa's family.Since you've always seen them as parents, you should be able to talk with them and tell them how dissapointed you are that they could accuse/suspect you of such.Reaffirm your loyalty to your friend and how the last thing you'd ever do is to betray him.cool and tell them to confront Tiwa themselves and leave you out of the matter. It should be that simple since your hands are clean.cool
Btw,what's Tiwa's stand on this issue?
Does he know the katakata his wife and family have caused? huh
After the way I was accused, I don't think I can stay calm again if I see them so would rather give myself time to cool down. Onyinye not answering her fone is my main worry now, its making me have this bad feeling in my chest. I know I should call Tiwa but am also sure his parents must have spoken to him, my worry there now is the Tiwa i know would have called me immediately but he hasn't done so yet. So i don't know what to think in that area. Tiwa was always striaght with me, that was why we where tight. Should I be worried? I logged on one facebook some hours ago and saw he was online. I poked him but he didn't respond and a few minutes later, he logged off out of facebook. Maybe am just looking at thing wrongly...

Odunnu: Did Onyinye ever confide in you she needed a man?

Did you ever have any cause to suspect her movement?

Did you ever meet a particular male with her?

Who do you think/suspect is responsible assuming Tiwa isnt?
We were very close but she is a woman. Women never always tell all. Yes there were guys hanging around her while in school and after she married Tiwa but her husband and I never took it serious. We used to call ourselves the 3 musketeers (Onyinye, Tiwa and I), we were that close. I didn't meet any particular person but was not there with her 24/7 so can't say what she may have been doing why I was elsewhere
You lost the chance to prove your innocence. They were just trying to solve a mystery. They called you to give your own side of the story. Keeping quiet and walking out shows you may know something they dont. Hey, you are the one they know is always around her. So you will be the first suspect. besides did the Onyinye girl claim it was you that impregnated her? If she can come in front of you and your wife and claim that, then you will ask for a DNA test. There are many crazy people out there, who are capable of causing so much chaos between family and friends. You should have stood your grounds and proclaimed your innocence. It may just be an investigation the family is doing. Afterall she cannot get pregnant by divine intervention when the husband has probably not touched her in 6 months.
I do see ur point. U really are right. I made a mistake there. I should have really stood my ground and told them off. I am trying to reach Onyinye so that I can plead with her so that she can rectify the wrong done to me cos my wife is not finding it funny.

ileobatojo: Is this real or superstory? How can she claim you are the father of the two of you never had s*ex? Or did you? (Cos you didn't specify in the story). Anyway there really is no long story if you aren't the father, DNA testing will give the final answer. Just confront her in the presence of everyone and your wife and state your own case. It can't be more than 9 months before the truth comes out.
Have never cheated on my wife and never will. Was close to both Tiwa and Onyinye and for long Tiwas parents have shown signs of being a little uncomfortable with how close I was to their son and his wife. I swear, I never had any bad intention and never will. I believe this is just one of those trials a man has to face. Tiwas aprents and strong christains and do have a strong old fashion mentality. They find it hard to believe that a man and a woman (though both married) can be very close without sleeping together. About DNA testing, I have no right to ask for a DNA test when I know I didn't sleep with Onyinye,...shit. It never crossed my mind so don't even go there.

I don't know how to start this sad tale, I still find it hard to believe. I am hurt and it pains alot. I trusted them, I really did but then to be betrayed by people u trusted. I have been there before, that is, I have been betrayed before by friends but not by someone/people I placed so much trust one, took as my family, could go to their house anytime even arnd 12 pm and sleep over without any stress. I loved them and thought, they loved me too.....I know its looks like I am just ranting but 4give my my rants, just someone help me make sense of this crazy situation I happen to have infront of me. A family friend of our's accuse me of impregnanting their daughter-inlaw.

I don't know where they got such information or where they based their finding on. Their son (Tiwa) and I met in secondary school and became inseperable from there. Applied for Jamb together but I got into Uni before him. My first two years in Uni, he was a constant visitor, he was like my room mate (I stayed off-camp) though he didn't get his admission till my third year in school. I threw a bash for him the year he got in and we celebrated like mad. We stayed in the same room all threw uni, shared the same girls, and stuffs till I met Onyiye.

Now Onyiye was not a perfect 8. No words of mine could describe her. I thought she was a 10 and she acted like one. She was a full-blooded ajebutter from rich parents. I met her and we yearned. We both liked ourselves and may have started something had Tiwa not fallen 4 her. After Tiwa confided in me about his feeling 4 her and backed off completely. She never understood why till she saw how close I and Tiwa where. She later started dating Tiwa, which took him a while to convince her and with some help from me. They got married a year after service.

Anyway, we 3 where inseperable till I myself got married in 2011 when I knew I had met the one. Fast forward till 6 months ago. We are all wrking now, Tiwa got a chance to do some further studies abroad (he is sent by the company he words for). He is to be away for 6 months. To help Onyinye get over the time her husband was not to be around, I took in upon myself to be there for her, run her errands and stuffs (Tiwa would have done the same for me). I took her to parties, gatherings, functions, events and even late night discos (always in the company of my wife). Since Tiwa travelled he had only returned once and he just stayed a week.

Last week, I get a call from our family friends and they asked me to come and see them. When i got there I asked them how Onyinye was and they said she went visiting her people. They then told me it was cos of her they called me and I asked them (in the spirit of conspiracy) what the problem was and they told me she was pregnant. I said oh, ok! Well thats good news but they said no its not. They are not sure who the father is and I said what! Onyinye would never do such a thing. They looked at me with wise eyes and asked me point blank "are u the father". I was so shocked that I could not speak for mins. When I could, I just stood up and walked away.

I am yet to tell my wife but would tell her soon. I am still stoned from the experience. Tiwa is due to return in a few weeks. How does one tell them they made a mistake. I really am very angry.

funny thread, but once u guys mature up enough you would realise that all that rukus of rivalry doen't bring u further, doesn't make u the man or a man, doesn't add feather to ur cap. If a lady wants to leave u she will leave u, doesn't matter if the other guy has a bigger pocket or a bigger John thomas. After I learnt that lessen the hard way I stopped getting scared about those things cos I know nothing would stop a lady that wants to leave to stay. I like being honest so would just tell her so, like I have told many in the past and they all stayed. Hmm, a man that thinks he has money money should try, men bring it on....

I remember one incident in school then. One pretty petite gf I had then had one other guy that has been trying to lay her even b4 I came into the pix. A few weeks after I started clinbing her she told me about the guy and that he just recently proposed to marry her. Am like 4k shit, are u dating him and she said no. Am like fine then we understand ourselves. I won't ask u to pick between either of us but would just tell u striaght that u should be certain what u want so u don't make mistakes. Anways, heard the guy picked info on me from his friends in my school cos the girl started playing hard to get or so, that he even called mz number and even threatened to pour me acid if I didn't leave his fiance (na wah 4 some Nigerian men). So he called my number and the telefon conversation was as thus:
Me: Are u dating her?
Guy: No
Me: Have u given her a ring or are u engaged 2 her?
Guy: no
Me: What makes u then claim that she is ur fiance. U haven't even dated her and u are not going out with her.
Guy: Why is she then collecting all my treasures.
Me: How do I know? Look, if u have a problem with the arrangment so far (me doing her and he treasuring her) settle it with her. I asked him " do u go arnd threatenig men u don't know just cos there are girls u would have liked to have but they won't agree 4 u so u think its cos of their bfs. Really na wah 4 some Ngerian men.
Anyway, when things got a little out of hand I had to tell the girl to so and put her bull dog on leash. Men, I ran a mile from that crazy situation.
Politics › Re: Chadian Arrested With Bombs & Ammunition At Ojora In Lagos by drnoel: 9:49am On Mar 22, 2013
reportnaija: Fear gripped many residents of Lagos on Thursday when news filtered in that troops numbering about 100 stormed terror suspects’ hideouts in Ijora, a densely populated part of the city.

The soldiers, who were assisted by men of the State Security Service, were believed to have acted on a tip-off. They were said to have arrived in the area around 7am in search of the suspects said to be members of an Islamic fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram.

It was learnt that their search yielded fruits when two persons were arrested at 24 Aromire Street and three others at a location in an adjacent street.

The soldiers then ransacked the building at Aromire Street where one of the arrested persons, Ibrahim Musa, occupies five rooms. A bomb kept in a cooler and hidden inside the ceiling of one of the rooms in Musa’s apartment was recovered by the soldiers.

Musa, who a security source described as an illegal alien from Chad, was said to be leader of the suspects.

Other items found were AK-47 rifles, cartridges and daggers.

The security source, who craved anonymity, added the raid was as a result of an investigation which began a month ago.

He said, “Security agents got information a month ago that there was a terrorist hideout in the Seven-Up area of Ijora. Although we were not sure if they were Boko Haram members or not, we did not want to take any chances so we decided to go and raid the place.

“It was discovered that the place was being run by a Chadian and arms were recovered during the raid, including AK-47 riffles. Investigations are ongoing and those who are found not culpable will be released.”

Musa’s neighbour, who craved anonymity, told one of our correspondents that they did not suspect he was a member of Boko Haram.

He said the suspect moved into the house less than three months ago.

“Musa rented his apartment about three months ago. However, since he moved in with his wife, who recently had a baby and a brother, none of them had any known form of livelihood. Musa and his brother, particularly were always going about with their laptops and expensive phones.

“Though he (Musa) was not working, he was usually the first to pay for anything in the house. It was when the soldiers came that we got to know what they truly are. It was in the course of beating him (Musa) that he told the soldiers where he hid the bomb and guns.”

Another resident of the area, who identified himself simply as Olu, said that when the suspects were being taken away by the soldiers “we did not know they were living here.”

“When soldiers were taking them away, we wondered if they were living in the neighbourhood. It was my neighbour, who told me he had seen Musa once or twice,” he said.

Olu said when the soldiers were going, they told them to be vigilant in the area, saying Boko Haram members had infiltrated the area, particularly the Hausa settlement.

When one of our correspondents met the Ojora of Ijora , Oba Fatai Adeyinka, he said he was shocked that Boko Haram members had infiltrated the area.

The spokesman for the Army 81 Division, Colonel Kingsley Umoh, confirmed the raid but said the army had been carrying out constant raids across the state in response to the rising level of insecurity in the country.

Umoh said over 36 people had been arrested recently. He however said he had yet to receive the details of Thursday’s operation.
