Sorry for your loss. May God grant you the strength to bear it. Truth is, our hospitals are sick. The system as a whole is crazy. I've seen situations similar to yours and one cannot but just look on as another helpless soul passes on to the great beyond. We need a total over-hauling of the health system because this our 'let's manage' mentality cannot carry on any longer. We as a people must demand it from the government at all levels, we must understand the importance of a working health system and support the different unions when they demand that government should act on our health sector. This is important because when some of these unions raise issues, government has a way of blackmailing them to look like they are only after money and at the end, we force these unions to keep working in these terrible conditions and the result of this is disastrous. We must also demand optimal care from our healthcare providers and report erring officials to their respective regulatory agencies. Once again, so sorry for your loss! |
My dear, it's quite unfortunate. RIP to the dead. The truth is that the biggest challenge is that many universities neglect the importance of a well equipped and well managed clinic. Someone has pointed out the reluctance of many of them joining and benefiting from the largely available health insurance schemes. Also many universities don't keep adequate manpower there, and as such the disaster is seen in times of trouble. I'm not exonerating some health workers who don't put in their best in such clinics but we must get the foundations right. You've raised a great point and I think Aluta movements in our universities should ensure that we have a well run clinic or give the respective management no peace till the anomaly is corrected. |
Hello house, Just to offer some help with a little overview of the subject matter. The specific causes of fibroid remains largely unknown, however, we know there are risk factors which includes; race ( which looks like the strongest risk factor, and by that, we understand that black ladies are more predisposed than ladies of other races, black women also have it at younger ages compared to other races) Heredity- if your mother or sister had a fibroid, you're at more risk of having one. Other risk factors include; hormonal factors, alcohol consumption (though quantity hasn't been specifically implicated), excessive consumption of red meat and low consumption of vegetables, early onset of menstruation and so on. Good news is, that you have a fibroid doesn't mean much except it becomes symptomatic (ie starts giving you some troubles) as it is said that 7 in every 10 black women have fibroids and I can bet you haven't seen that number in the population complain of it. Fibroids are largely treatable through medical and surgical means and post treatment prognosis is wonderful. For the management of fibroids, please visit a doctor preferably a gynaecologist for optimum care. Please, do not fall into the trap of those who use the anxiety of most young women suffering from fibroids to market all sort of 'rubbish drugs and supplement'! Visit a hospital and take only prescribed pills. And for the guys, fibroid in a young woman is no indictment of any wrong doing nor sub-fertility. Thank you. For more info, www.google.com is a good assistance |

Quite a pity! RIP to the dead! |
Hello house, What could be the cause of a squealing sound from the brakes when the brake pedal is pushed down firmly ( the sound isn't there when the brake pedal is just softly pushed down). Its just embarrassing and I just recently changed the brake pads. A 406 EW10 D9. Thanks |
That's greatly commendable and should be emulated by all! |
The guy fit no stand up again oooo! Him go just remain on that his knees. ![]() |
OREMUSSANCTUS:What's has Islam to do with this story? It's an unfortunate event that could've befallen anybody of any faith. Advice is; if you can't keep and care for a mentally challenged person, make use of a psychiatric home. |
It's such a pity! RIP to the dead. |
So sad! R I P to the dead! |

Nice one Mr President! Nobody's ambitions is worth the blood of nigerians! |
OP dey serious dey change pose sef! Abi na selfie OP been wan snap ![]() |
As much as I understand that you're probably an interested 'prospective client' who doesn't want go into the wrong hands, you must also understand that this is people's business and as much, should be respected! So, please change this topic, it doesn't sound good. There are better ways to make enquires. Thanks |
I'm ashamed of the ignorance proceeding from that ASUU chairman, does he not know that a medical doctor who is a Fellow of a recognised Post Graduate Medical College needs not a PhD to be a professor? If ASUU chairman is this ignorant, I pity his students! |
I strongly condemn such ill-thought of rascality and toddler like political tantrums! It shows how backward the mindset of those youths are! You don't need to attack the man, if you think he's not done well, vote him out on the election day! People keep behaving like they actually evolved from monkeys! |
Here in Bauchi, reports emanates that youths attacked the convoy of Mr President. The same story was heard in Katsina a short while ago. It leaves me wondering why the youths of this nation have allowed themselves to be jobless and degraded. Before one accuses me of anything, be it known to all that I'm neither a GEJ nor a GMB supporter. We must call a spade a spade. Even if you don't like any of the contestants (whether presidential, gubernatorial or otherwise), allow the fellow campaign and go! Your vote is yours. That someone campaigned in your area doesn't mean you would vote him! Let's be wise regardless of which party you support. #Say No to Election Violence! |
chelseabmw:Sorry to say this, you sound like you're taking sides in this matter! And that isn't good for the forum. Remember, it's a forum and not a boot camp! |
inspiredm:You sound so arrogant and crazy! The fact that you're still in business doesn't mean you're genuine and transparent. You did wrong to this OP, instead of apologising, you're telling us the number of years you've spent doing other whacked deals. Continue till you meet someone who takes business deals to another bad level! |
If this forum would continue to remain sane, such claims should seriously be looked into and proper actions taken! Lest this section becomes another OLX which swims with con men. MODS please do the needful! |
Any issues with this ride? |
Please is OP in Primary school ![]() The use of tense in that write up was terrible! |
How much would land me a 2004 406, a D9 preferably? |

West Bromwich Albion have announced the sacking of manager Alan Irvine after just six months in charge. Irvine, who replaced Pepe Mel in the summer, managed just four wins in 19 Premier League games and Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Stoke saw the Baggies sink to within a point of the relegation zone. Assistant head coach Rob Kelly, with Keith Downing, will take charge for the New Year's Day game at West Ham with a manager expected to be appointed by the weekend. Former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood and ex-Crystal Palace and Stoke manager Tony Pulis are the early favourites for the job. A statement issued by WBA late on Monday evening from the club's technical director, Terry Burton, read: "We appointed Alan in the summer convinced that we had taken on one of the foremost coaches in the UK and nothing that has happened since then has altered our view. "The individual progress of our players such as Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino are testament to that. But sadly that simply has not translated into results and they remain the ultimate currency of Alan's position. "Securing a sixth season in the Premier League is the over-riding target and sometimes unpleasant decisions have to be taken to serve that imperative. Alan has impressed everyone with his manner, dedication and diligence but he knows that results have simply not been good enough. "We place on record our gratitude for his efforts and hold nothing but good wishes for his future endeavours. This was a decision taken with regret but sadly driven by necessity." Irvine admitted the sack could be looming after the loss at Stoke, their seventh in nine Premier League games. Away supporters at the Britannia Stadium hurled flak at Irvine after the final whistle as he made his way towards the tunnel, and the Scot stressed in his post-match press conference he could understand them voicing their frustration. Asked if he still felt he would be in his job by the new year, Irvine said: "I hope so, but I'm not in control of that, so I don't know. I believe I am [capable of turning things around] and I think the players believe we all are as well. "But obviously, it is other people who will make decisions as far as that is concerned. I want to carry on. I want to still do this job and I want to see it turning around, and that is not going to change.'' Regarding the criticism he received from the stands, Irvine said: "I can understand that people are frustrated -- I'm frustrated, and so are the players. I can understand fans expressing that frustration. That is the nature of the job. "If anyone is to take it, I am the person that is standing there. I stand out there and I don't hide -- I'm there to be shot it. And, obviously, ultimately I make the final decisions, so, certainly, I'm prepared to take the criticism. "I don't know if they [the fans] would have necessarily wanted me to acknowledge them [as he walked past them at the end]. What do you do in those circumstances? I just walked down the tunnel. "I am bitterly disappointed as well -- it means an awful lot to me, and I know it means an awful lot to them.''Open Navigation SCORES BY ESPN STAFF ShareTweet8 8 hours ago West Bromwich Albion sack manager Alan Irvine after loss at Stoke City Alan Irvine is out as West Brom coach after losing seven of the club's past nine games.
