Aku oju mo ire then.

Let the fight against corruption be separated from media trial and media noises.

While I support the fight against corruption and corrupt elements, this administration should spare Nigerians the media hullabaloo.
Good morning to you too.

What again will be the business of media houses if not to reveal/break news?
Or, is it the govt that controls what media houses report and what they don't?

Pls, let's address issues and leave blind partisanship aside.

I love this fight on corruption on this scale never witnessed before in our nation's history.

A fight taken to the big thieves instead of the small thieves as was the case. It's time those we consider "untiuchables" are made to know that era of impunity is over.

It's a shame that many youths were responsible for pauperizing fellow youths by abusing their privileged positions. We keep shouting give youths a chance but when the chance is given, we bungle it.

Look at Akpobolokemi, Diezani, Tompolo, Bankole and many other so called youths!

Kashamu making sense since the coming of PMB in the hope the president will not show interest in his repatriation case.

I like his style sha. It's a strategy of "don't throw stones if you live in glass house".

GOD protect you for us.

GOD bless Nigeria.
During election campaign, Wailers mocked him with his age and argued that he's too old to cope with rigors of traveling associated with the office of president.

Now that the man has proved to be as agile as the word agility, they resort to calling him names. We know they will forever remain pained that PMB is showing no sign of fatigue or aging as they expected. They're the LOSERS!

So how on earth is that tantamount to dismissal of metuh's case? However since the EFCC have finally arraigned him today, there is no longer any need for this suit. But know this unless Metuh is been charged for murder,he will definitely be granted bail by the courts
Surely his offence is a bailable one. The bail will be about N400M with two sureties in like sum.

GEJ never styled himself as incorruptible man of intergrity because he know he is fallible. but buari who sees himself as infallible avatar against corruption should prove himself by jailing IBB, OBJ, abubakar adulsalam, sanusi lamido sanusi, tinubu, fashola, ameachi before i take him serious. for now buari himself is totally corrupt.

KMJY:
His ministers are obviously working indeed. And the value of naira crashing to #300 per dollar? No one is saying the anticorruption war should n't continue. All we are saying is that other sectors deserve same attention given to anticorruption. As long as we the citizens keep having divergent views on what affects us all, the government will go to sleep. Afterall majority of the masses are backing it at their own peril. Shame!
If you have any idea of how currency valuation works, you will not blame PMB or the current administration for it. But I doubt you know.
Politics › Re: Ashimolowo To Buhari: Looters Deserve Only 20% Of Your Time by DropShot: 7:15am On Jan 13, 2016
KMJY:
Can't you see that Buhari has stopped doing his job and rather concentrating on the EFCC's own? Nigerians are suffering yet the anti-corruption war has become a perfect distraction to all of us that no one seems to realize this fact. The earlier we come back to our senses the better for us. Else it will soon dawn on us like a person who has been dupped
I have not seen or heard the president commenting on ongoing anti corruption war except when he was asked during the media chat.

It's normal for arrests relating to missing/misappropriated huge sums to become big hit given the fact that EFCC was practically in comatose before now.

The president has his ministers working and I still don't know the exact things he ought to have done or said which he has failed to.

Please tell me if you know.

Rawani:
Read the article again. Tinubu's outfit is actually shielding the President from slipping on a banana peel - which is the disregard of laws which are hampering his war on corruption, that could be effectively used against him by his detractors. I fully endorse this message as well.

Don't let your desperation to see the SW regret its successful and blossoming alliance with the North get the better of you.
Has any of govt's arms indeed disregarded any court orders?

Politics › Re: Beyond #ArmsProbe: The Need To Probe The Entire Defence Budget by DropShot:
It's soffry soffry catch monkey.

PMB is aware of all this shenanigans hence his determination to make sure Dasuki didn't leave the country. The money in Dasuki's hands can realistically bring Nigeria to her knees if he escapes to fight the govt from outside.

We have read how Dasuki alowed weapons to be smuggled into the country without the knowledge of key military formations. So, invariably Dasuki funded the insurgency as a justification for bigger defence budget year in year out under GEJ.

I very much doubt GEJ knew about how he was arm twisted by Dasuki (of course an indication of his own incompetence too), hence he won't mind that Dasuki and any other person who joined him in ruining his regime are brought to justice.

I have no doubt that PMB will go beyond arms deal fund. He assured us that in his first media chat. So, not only the defence budget will be probed, expect DiezanniGate and many other mind boggling sleaze that went on under GEJ.

The economy bleeds today because of all the senseless looting by these eediots we entrusted our resources but children of hate and anger do not understand that today's economy is a result of those bad actions of many years past.

Only children will be amused and excited by such rubbish new and trash from the EFCC. Since when is money recovered by detention?

If the man looted money, send him to court already and present your case. What all this tear paper statement, govt property nonsense?

Abeg they should grow up and stop behaving like touts. Buharis disregard for the law and constitution is turning these agencies into touts. Their standards are falling rapidly and they are becoming a laughing stock to the world.
You're not well informed but just pretending to know something.

Upon arrest, a suspect is expected to make statements to investigating authorities irrespective of whatever evidence they have gathered prior to his arrest. Only after making such statements may he then be charged to court.
In Mettuh's case, his failure to make statements and cooperate with EFCC left the agency with no option than to apply for holding order to detain him in the hope he will cooperate. Hence his detention is perfectly in order legally. His continued refusal to write statements will mean an extension to that order to further detain him and NOTHING anybody can do to help him.

Read the ACJ Act and educate yourself further.

What is going on is that you lack proper understanding of contextual meaning of statements just like your fellow IPOD and Biafra people.

Now, take your dictionary or use Google to check the full meaning of "virtually". Then come back to apologize.

Both EFCC and DSS are becoming unprofessional and childish under PMB.

Even the NAS and House of Reps. Today the budget is stolen tomorrow it is withdrawn. The news agencies can no longer report valid news. One thing is reported today, tomorrow another is reported.

CBN gives one directive today, tomorrow another is given.

Today they say Amechi did not spend 86m to host soyinka , tomorrow they say he spent.

Today they say fuel is 86.50 yet it's sold for 130.

They say subsidy is removed, 2 morow they say it is not.

Today they say they won the war 2 morow another.

When will we have stability?
Are you a composer trying to compose rhyming lyrics?

You're not making any sensible contribution to the topic.

@ topic, Mettuh may be suffering from psychological problem already as he may never have thought a period like this can occur in his life so soon. Frustration is setting in for him.
