Personally I won't invest more than 400k. 500k max.
But since you have 900k, you should be able to land a good car.
Ensure the motor size is less than 2.0L.

Whatever you could do to save up 2M, continue with it.
Sir with 900k , what cars with less than 2.0l engine will be suitable for the job apart the civic and Corolla... keep in mind sir things like cheap parts, mechanic expertise, ruggedness etc ........

Dru23 you got this? Been a while since I junkyarded parts. It's his best bet i think and I'll ship for free.
It might be cheaper for him to get it in Ladipo ...exchange rate right now is not looking sexy at all

Are you talking about me here?
They almost kill me. Nna mehn! This bolded you just reminded me is a very long unforgettable experience in my life. I'm just gaining my balance from that shit I put myself.
Since then, I always advice every investors to measure their capacity before venturing into any investment.
Especially transport biz, you must get craze and be strict to handle the driver's madness if on delivery . Dru23 is a GOAT in this line of biz. I respect him.
GOAT ( greatest of all time) before someone misquote me now. Lol
Lol .. Very tough and nasty business.. If no be for uber I no fit enter the business at all at all...this is why fear dey catch me to Advice Jpworld when he dey fight driver .. I stay neutral ... I believe also you can use different methods in dealing with drivers or people in general. Before I use warn drivers etc .

But now I just dey look and when it is time to strike, I strike like a cobra, sometimes I win some and I loose some during striking.. Me personally I can't use jpworld forward approach ... The most dangerous people are the quiet ones. No need for noise....... Either way each to his own .....

This one has been done and dusted cool
those gamma engines are very expensive. Na known fact. The reason the cars are cheap na because dem get engine problem and the owners can't afford to replace engine. Rather than replace engine for 550k thereabout, they sell it as it is for say 500k

Dru's 10k or 20k if jp pays, not radautoworks' 50k.

But I think kanuisgoat or someone like that is leading.
We have till Friday.. I will pay my own part when the winner is announce... Jpworld agree to do the same

I dont have issue with him owing cars or not, or if he charges his drivers 100k per week, but the condescending manners he treats people and especially his drivers.

This same man can post his drivers' details or anything online; names, pictures, earnings but can't do same about himself. Here is he hiding his details.
Are his drivers less humans? Talk to him to do better please. He should start doing better by treating people and his drivers with dignity
.
I agree.... I will look for a professional way to approach him about it ......

Dru, I respect you because you keep your word but not that is NOT what jp said. Not then, not now, not ever. If he had said what you said above there wouldn't have been as big a backlash. Stop making excuses for him. He has broken every single agreement be has ever made on this forum yet tries to be everyone's police. He is a joke. Please don't put yourself next to him because it diminishes you.

Which reminds me, since we were recently talking about drivers adhering to the contract, is it in the contract that he can arbitrarily change the rental fee at any time if he feels they are making more?
Am not for or against anyone .... I didnt know from the beginning that the contest was about drivers saving 800k naira ... I was more for drivers grossing 800k naira .. I know that drivers can't save 800k regardless if the car belongs to driver or not .......

That been said in the spirit of goodness, since this contest has started , let us give the money to the highest earner on Friday.. Your 50k naira is still fair enough as long as the highest earner can break down his/her expenses and show proof .. And Jpworld and I each will drop 10k naira to the highest earnest regardless of regardless of expenses shown or not....

Transportation business is very tough business .. It is so tough that I am neutral, and I don't side anyone.. Drivers have shown me pepper... I can't tell another man how to run his business o.. I can only try and do what's works for me .. This business is just nasty ,and it is not my place for me to tell him how construct contracts for his drivers. If ask for my advice I will tell him my opinion....

It is the responsibility of both drivers and owners to research who they will be doing business with.. We have good drivers and we have bad owners ....I am not taking side from anyone ..

Two Shawn
Well my contest is that drivers can gross 800k whether nay net or gross .....

I think Jpworld point his trying to make is that drivers are making money especially during this festive period.. So because of that he can increase rental delivery.. Things are going up due to inflation etc .. Parts are expensive and import items are gone through the roof .....

Every investor has to adjust accordily, I don't plan to increase my rental at all, whether rain or shine I will stick to between 20k to 25k and I will do 100% of maintenance.

That is my own business model ,but I will not take any excuse from any drivers that messes up .. The things about me is that am equally as nasty as I am nice.. I am extreme to that level ..

Any driver that works for me and cant succeed under my business model, will need to go and appease the gods and his/her village people .....what works for me ,might not work for others....

PS.. Jpworld sent me all the evidence of ownership of all his cars. 11 in total and also his DL included. So I believe him.. His information is too sensitive to post online, he only send it to me because he trust me ........

So Friday lets us appreciate the highest earners. And the ones that are able to break down their expenses should get your 50k naira prize ... till Friday we shall wait

See below. The genesis of the challenge was to SAVE 800k in two months hence the request for a statement. Always find the full story before you start mouthing off. Now you see why you shouldn't have been so cocky in your previous posts.
I don't think anybody can save 800k naira.. But it is possible to cross over 800k naira .. That is what am supporting with 10k naira.. Friday will find out

I think Radautoworks gave a condition of showing expenses and saving 800k. I dont think she's just giving out cash for highest earner.

I might be wrong.
It is included o .person with the highest and break down expenses along with it . That is why it is 50k naira ,so total the highest earner can bank 70k naira.. Not bad at all

Is it so hard to understand? 10k so you lose 120k (10k a month) because someone doesn't understand economics? Not very enticing.

That's like a store saying they sold 5 million this month. DID THEY MAKE 5 MILLION?

Someone said he gave up his life to get what he did. Is it worth it? Can married people or fathers do the same? There lies your answer.
Either way it is free money given out there, according to some drivers here some have already passed that challenged that was put up..... Someone out there 20knaira will go a long way ....

I understand it's your opinion, but I really think we should put ourselves in the partner's shoes.

Uber cars do not run on fresh air and sunlight. They use mechanical parts that wear and tear, and the prices of these parts increase almost every day.

What you bought for #xx in November has definitely increased in December, and will definitely increase in January. I don't see how someone would reduce his rental price because trips are limited? Will the driver use the car less in January? Obviously no

Any driver who definitely be saving ahead for January. You can start saving your two weeks rent now (60k) instead of waiting for rental reduction.

All, I mean all the prices of parts have increased.

No vex say I quote you sha

Negative,
1. let him post his Nov/Dec for us to decide. The previous one is over a million but his own is not up to.
2. Only two drivers just posted their own and JP had already said where the money goes if the number is not up to 30 or 20 and we all agreed. So agreement is agreement.
Either way let me know the winner.. This is free money here ,don't let it go to waste
