zabimaru: It's all in your head. No one can feel threatened by a fraudster, they may be concerned but not threatened.
Doing fbi investigations just to profile someone Cmon businessmen don't have that time except the ones with mental problems.
And you know the worst kind of mental problem? The one you know you have and you accept it without seeking help.
That's how serial killers come into being. In your case I know you're too sissy to make an attempt on someone's life but you need an addiction to complement you mental state hence the serial frauds and scams.
Tell us, how many people have you scammed.?

Timblogga: better than an engine that needs replacement, or are you gonna sell a car as scrab once engine is very bad, to the extent of causing oil shortage with no obvious leaks? You simply make do with what you have. Mr. Man the debate is would you buy a tokunbo car knowing for fact that the seller has replaced the engine.. Meaning that the seller bought the Tokunbo engine replace and than sell it to you... And would still buy it at the market price or would you rather buy straight tokunbo without any changes ? .. Obviously if you have a naija used car and needs engine replacement, it will make sense to buy Tokunbo engine than buy brand new engine from factory that will cost more than the car itself... |

Ayara222: can i still drain the oil and use Mobil 1 synthetic, bought engine one month ago for 450k My brother sadly enough . your camry v4 is a factory defect and the Tokunbo engine you got maybe more than likely defect ....those camry v4 are factory defect from 2007 to 20010 .. The v6 has no oil issues........ So whether drain oil and use Mobil 1 or not . the issues might still continue... You can always seek a second opinion ......... And if all fails sell the car and avoid like a plague when looking for car next ....... |

You posted oil recommendations for a 2003 Toyota Camry meant to be used in USA.
Gazzuzz posted oil recommendations for a 2003 Toyota Camry meant to be used in Nigeria.
Both manuals are officially from Toyota motor company.

Conner44: That’s the manual for the Camry vehicles made to be driven specifically in yankee hence that particular grade of oil for all seasons use over there.
The owners manual of that same year of Camry vehicle made to be driven in Nigeria has the exact same image as Gazzuzz posted above.
So you see that our climates are different and the manufacturers have duly taken note of this fact while factoring fluid ad maintenance recommendations in their manuals.
I agree that 5w30 fully synthetic is good for yankee cars but I don’t think you should label 20w50 conventional oil bad for Nigerian vehicles.
I showed you pictures of various 20w50 synthetic oils above and told you to ask people who race or ride bikes over there and they would show you where they sell it in your neighborhood. Me I am tired .... I give up ........i am showing you the official manual from Toyota .. You can easily download it online....... I than show other official manuals from different cars .. One manual shows more weight option .which included 20w50.... Bro .. I tire

Conner44: Dru23 what we are trying to say to you is that yankee and Nigerian weather is different.
Pistons and bearing clearance/ tolerance as well as weather temperatures are things manufacturers put into consideration while recommending oils for their modern engines but for vehicles made before the year 2010 its mainly about temperature.
gazzuzz dropped this image below culled from the owners manual of a 2003-2006 Toyota Camry. Did you look at it at all before arguing?
The red line is our usual weather temperature range here in Nigeria and the blue signifies that which is seen in yankee.
according to that image, isn’t the manufacturer implying that the use of 20w50 engine oil in their engine is suitable for your yankee states like Texas. Arizona. Florida etc? Below is the actual owners manual for 2003 camry.. U go online and kindly download it........... When this cars are made , they don't make for hot weather country and cold weather country.. Look at the temp chat below.... Nigerian weather falls between that range.......... 1. The first oil chart comes from the 2003 camry. 2. The second oil chart came from your mechanic supposedly is for a 2003 camry 3. The 3rd oil chart is from a 2017 US spec elantra 4. The 4th oil chart is from a US spec 2021 Elantra. You have more options to use different oil weight. When deciding what weight of oil to use, it is better to read the owners manual. Each engine might have different oil weight.. Look at 2017 Elantra no mention of 20w50 .but the 2021 model gave more oil weight option.. Do we now say since 2021 uses 20w50 will than use the same for 2017

Conner44: Yankee has at least 3 months of winter and Nigeria does not hence Mobil XHP 20w50 conventional oil can be used by vehicles here safely so far as it’s not in a modern engine (some 2010 and above). Over here Vehicle fluids don’t freeze up solid unlike over there that’s why our coolants don’t have anti freeze in them.
During service with a dealership they usually use oils from drums to service their customers vehicles. I am certain that the company servicing my dads car at the time used 20w50 drum oil on his engine from the get go. Remember this was a car bought brand new and made specifically to be used in our climate. That engine has a total of 170,000kms on its odometer today and I am dead certain that 99% of that mileage was done with Mobil XHP 20w50 conventional oil changes twice a year. If we wanted to do once a year oil changes we’d switch to Mobil1 20w50 fully synthetic oil or it’s equivalent.
For you to be saying that you can’t find 20w50 weight oil over there means you’ve never gone out in search of it for any particular reason before. Ask your neighbors who race their cars or ride sports/power bikes and they’d direct you to where you can buy them.
If you could import fully synthetic 20w50 oils to Nigeria and sensitize people that they can use it for changes just once a year or every 6 months I bet you will make triple sales because normally it’s cheaper to buy, withstands shearing/breakdown better than other lighter weight oils and it’s full synthetic too with anti sludge detergent additives as a bonus.
A majority of Nigerians will patronize you if you stocked any of the oils below (including my dad)
P So all 50 states ..... I guess Las Vegas, Florida, Arizona,Texas (just to name a few ) get snow ...

Conner44: Dru23 so you’re trying to tell us you’ve never seen any of these oils in your yankee before abi Read to understand and be objective... I stated that 20w50 is not commonly sold in the United States... Now we do have places like Texas, Las Vegas, Florida that have all year round weather...... Now car manufactures have taken into consideration when building engine. Since we have multi weather in the USA . Those engines and oil are highly formulated for such. ..... These oil are multi grade and can withstand cold Tempt and Hot tempt........ Also keep in mind car manufactures are always making new cars every year.. So Americans are always and always buying new cars years. It is not we have a bunch of old cars laying around. When you buy a brand new car tear rubber. It comes with a warranty on it . On the warranty it tells you the list of things that can void these warranty.. Part of it is using the recommended oil on the oil cap. The are not telling you to use specific brand. But they are telling you to use oil that meets or exceeds engine requirement .. Failure to do so will void ur warranty and you will have to pay out of pockets for replacement...... It will not make sense for car manufacture to build engines or formulate oil for states like Florida, Texas, Las Vegas with hot weather year round and than build different ones for cold states like New York, New Hamsphire, and Maine just to name a few this will be counter productive..... You are not engineer and you don't know better than the engineers....... Also the rate that people change engine in Nigeria should tell you something.. We do not change engines at the rate engine u change in Nigeria. So people here don't joke with their car . it is very costly to do so and your car will loose its value...... And even the engine been sold to you guys in Nigeria are high mileage engine. Engines are not cheap, the lower the mileage of the engine the higher the cost.... Now Innonson Motors build cars in Nigeria. People like you should be buying those cars. Those cars are built by Nigerian and for Nigerians. But you guys will not support locally made cars.. But instead you source for forex up and down depleting the country's foreign reserve buying cars in the USA that we call junks. And this is the same junk that you guys will start to configure and construct Majority of these cars are not even road worthy to begin with .. But you can't blame the car dealers. The are only buying what the Nigerian market can afford... You guys should just buy Nigerian cars made for Nigerians .. You save money in the long run ............ My brother we can go back and fourth.. You don't know better than car manufacture. Nigerians lack maintenance culture .. Look at our Airports, road health care facility etc
