What wiring are you talking about here? Haven't you seen a car gone through total re-wiring due to fire accident or something else? Besides, there is no need for rewiring even because electrical wiring is already designed with extra length should one needs extension. So all that is needed is just to re-sucket back to its normal position simple!

When ever you're in the country let me know I'll take you around so dealer's stands and car owner's lots to identify a converted car then you'll see how clueless you'll become

Even some cars you guys ship into Nigeria are converted, oyinbo do it as well, convention is a common thing all over the World because right road driving is more common in the world than left road driving but if they don't tell you, you won't know?

Up till now I'm yet to get a response from him on why he is not keeping to his word of trying to consider his customers pockets making priase affordable yet he ships in ST of 22.5k. I opt for the regular and popular brand Mobil 1 since i can get it any time any day it's just a difference of 2.5k. Peanut.

The Freon gas he shipped in is 6k... It makes more economical and technical sense to buy 2 cans of 3k each instead of buying a single can of 6k that will get wasted once opened... Yet he's not attending to customer's needs instead making silly posts.

Talking about automatic/solenoid compressor I'm 100% sure he doesn't even know jack about that brand else he won't be saying all those shits he's saying. Price of a brand new solenoid compressor is N210k don't even think of buying a tok because it won't work. Even if you buy d brand new one it can get bad almost immediately if you make the mistake to put in a wrong gas or over pressure the compressor with the right gas.

So Mr. Man @we at dru I suggest you take a back seat and listen when experience people are talking bros non of your 19yrs old civic has an automatic compressor. Make bold to get one first b4 u come to a contest with experience people.

Well my car is not "factory reject oil sipping limca lemon camry" because if it is I would have sold it off. I've made more than double the cost price and I will still sell it at the same amount I bought it 3 years ago thanks to bubu. But the car is still serving me like it did on day 1 so our relationship is still intact.

I can boldly tell you that this 3 years old camry of mine is still worth more than majority of your tokunbo civics

If you use recommended oil and don't change as at when due, your engine will die quicker than if you use non-recommended but still compatible oil and change as at when due.
The emphasis should be more on changing oil as at when due

What I am saying is focus on what is recommended... manufacturer is aware of the different global weather conditions and the cars are made for the whole world not just d temperate regions. So what is recommended covers whether u have winter or harmattan or sun or rain all year round.

Calm down, manufacturer recommend you u should consider some changes in certain condition, for example if vehicle is used in a dusty environment, Hill top environment.
Note there is a difference between North America owner's manual and international Global owner's manual. You bought a tokunbo car u go through the car manual also try and go through manual of brand new car which are mostly classified are global u will see a difference.

We know that the engine burns oil but that's not the point here, I just want you to know that the engine can still last for years and not few months as you're making people who have not used it believe.
I use mine for uber as well and I've covered over 100k miles since I bought it. Current mileage is around 240k so as long as you change your oil as at when due then the engine will serve you better.
20w50 is not a death sentence to this generation of engines, maybe it may not last as long as if you use 5w30 synthetic but that doesn't mean it will not last. Infact people should worry more about the body of the car especially in this lagos because that engine will still outlast the body

Mine has been shortening oil since I bought it and it's over 3 years and counting. I have been using sharlu 20w50 for 3 years and my engine is still as quiet as a mouse

Unless you are doing uber like our friend Bazz001 that drives a low mileage camry around up and down like a yellow cab driver we know his oil consumption will be high. He most likely has a drum of 20w50 in the boot of his low mileage camry.. I can even recall when it was mention here that 20w50 went up from 4500k to 9k .. He stated he will need buy couple of cartons of 20w50. But I think it is a whole drum is using now

Corolla of same year is included, 2AZ engine. Get their manual, they wrote to top oil after 1000km.
Now the question is.... Will u buy recommended oil at higher rate knowing it will disappear or buy a conventional oil (xhp) and do oil change as at when due.


I have used 2008 Corolla (bought 2008, first model) with the listed engine above and the oil consumption started, I switched to xhp. I used and maintened it till I sold it last may. No smoking, but oil dey short. Engine still in top shape. I even marketed it here, though someone outside NL bought it and he is using it for e-hailing.


This oil issue don tire....
