If you're an immigrant in the U.S or any part of the world and you don't like the way the country operates because your religion has a different view then it's best you go back to your old country and your old life with your barbaric ways than taking it out on hard working Americans/individuals that wants peace. Can't you just let bygone be bygone and stop living in the past but live in the present. Humanity has moved beyond the point of killing each other. Stop being brainwashed by your Imam's and try to read and understand the Quran yourself. The Christian Bible is full of pages about wars and destructions and you don't see us setting bombs to our felow humans and causing mayhem to the society just to prove a point. BlueMagic was based on one of my favorite movies the American Gansta and on D.O.A, JayZ went real and raw instead of the usual bragging. Go listen to BlueMagic and D.O.A then come back and tell me how you feel. Those are just his 2 singles I like for personal reasons liked I've explained. RickRoss was real when he was underground. To set your record straight- Hip Hop is a 'Culture'. Within Hip Hop culture is the genre of music called 'Rap'.
Graffiti, Disc Jockeying, and 'Break Dancing' are also components of the Hip Hop culture.

While both terms are often used interchangeably, they do not mean the same thing. Neither are they "different genres but sonehow inter-lock" as you state.

If you are going to categorize as you have done, then i think what you meant to do was have the first list as "Hip Hop artists" and the second as "Rappers"

Reason being the first group (for the most part) embody the Hip Hop culture, and it channels through their songs, while the second group for the most part just spew rap punchlines with little to no depth.
