thanks for the criticism, but truth be told, the complexities of relationships have not changed a lot since medieval times. we're both saying the same thing, we're just using different voices

I agree with you too. We're basically saying the same thing.

I misquoted you when I actually wanted to quote the author. The error has been corrected.

You still have your girlfriends asking you to do them favours after they cook, clean or spend a good time with you, i believe the same label you are stamping on me is the exact same label you should be stamping on your girlfriend smiley

Men want a woman who can prove themselves worthy before they take her to the alter, a good cook and someone who can make him a great time in bed, a good and hygienic wife and mother. why can't i have a man prove that he is a good provider before accepting to walk down the aisle for?

Does this mean women have to accept whatever comes their way, whereas women have to be put through some tests before they are considered to be wife material?
Food for thought

Nice points even though most of your reasons seems to be of the medieval period. There's actually nothing wrong in trying to test a man's worth before saying I do. It's actually your right. Asking a man to financially provide for you during the courting stage is like a man asking for a surgical operation of your womb to see if its healthy enough to bear his children. It's demeaning enough not towards the man but the woman in particular.

Any lady that asks a man for outrageous financial assistance is asking for trouble an shouldn't run crying blue murder when it backfires. To know if a man is comfortable enough to provide for you and your children is simple common sense. If a man has a good and well paying job. I think he's secure enough to take care of you and your family come future but asking him to take up financial burden from you during the courting stage by paying your rent and bills is absolutely ridiculous. You need to see this from another point of view to know how you sound.

everyday: From my personal view I think Islam is better.I like their views about homosexualism which is a bad practice while churches on the other hand wed gays openly in churches.
Muslims have managed to stay united and have one voice for centuries

It seems you have no idea about what's going on in the middle-east with Sunnis killing the Shiites and vice versa. You need to watch more foreign news and get enlightened.

Buhari will NEVER get into aso-rock whether you like it or not.

You are as moronic as you sound. A credible member who is more than what you would ever become gave credible points as to how Jonathan administration has been the worst so far with billions being stolen from under our eyes and this is what you could come up with.

Mr. Jonathan is so clueless and corrupt and I am still yet to fathom how he got into power.

I don't care who wins the 2015 elections and I am damn sure it wouldn't be Jonathan, I can bet my life on it but whoever wins would be welcomed so far it's not that retard disguised as our commander-in-chief.

We need change in this country before things get out of hand. We need an iron hand, someone who can not be bought and doesn't run his government under sentiments. We need change.

Shiit, this is so annoying and sad but the marriage was deemed for failure right from the onset. Timbo is a very nice guy and I don't understand why bad things keep happening to good people.

Timbo never really loved her neither was the feeling returned. He go involved with her after a tour in one of those Caribbean countries and fell in 'love' with her because was she an Aaliyah look alike. It's no news that Timbaland has always had the hots for Aaaliyah.

He didn't even blink twice after she revealed she had two adult children at that time. He changed her status from rags to riches. I hope she's does not become too greedy with the alimony and settlements. The American justice system has recently been in favor of the rich and bread winners.

TV/Movies / The Great Gasby. by druid06(m): 2:45pm On Oct 16, 2013
I just completed a movie titled The Great Gasby. I understand this movie was based on a story/book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald capturing a dead era during the 1900's about the industrial boom in New york and a very romantic moment between two birds in love.

It's sad didn't end well but this is the greatest movie in a long time. Can't wait to read the book
Science/Technology / British Scientists Claim To Have Found Proof Of Alien Life. by druid06(m): 11:50am On Oct 15, 2013
Life on Mars? No, say scientists, it’s floating 27km above Chester.

A team of British scientists is convinced it has found proof of alien life, after it harvested strange particles from the edge of space.

The scientists sent a balloon 27km into the stratosphere, which came back carrying small biological organisms which they believe can only have originated from space.

Professor Milton Wainwright told The Independent that he was “95 per cent convinced” that the organisms did not originate from earth.

“By all known information that science has, we know that they must be coming in from space,” he said. “There is no known mechanism by which these life forms can achieve that height. As far as we can tell from known physics, they must be incoming.”

Some of the samples were captured covered with cosmic dust, adding further credence to the idea that they have originated from space.

“The organisms are not usual,” said Professor Wainwright, who works at the University of Sheffield’s Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. “If they came from earth, we would expect to see stuff that we find on earth commonly, like pollen.”

“We’re very, very confident that these are biological entities originating from space,” he said, acknowledging that absolutely certainty is hard to achieve in science.

The team believes that the entities are coming from comets, which are big balls of ice shooting through space. The samples were collected during a meteorite shower from a comet. As they hit the earth’s atmosphere, the comets melt – ablate, to give it a technical term – releasing the organisms as they break down.

“The particles are very clean,” added Prof Wainwright. “They don’t have any dust attached to them, which again suggests they’re not coming to earth. Similarly, cosmic dust isn’t stuck to them, so we think they came from an aquatic environment, and the most obvious aquatic environment in space is a comet.

“They’re very unusual beasts, not your normal kind of life from earth.”

Hey,for better interpretation there must be understanding.
So you saying that the only reason a gal won't want to marry a man like her father is if she has been molested by him.....a very shallow way of thinking.
It did not occur to you that being a great father isn't the same as being a good husband.... vice versa.
I have my reasons for saying no,so what you believe or think it to be is not my business.

I'm not sure if you understand my point... Too bad, I'm not in the mood to explain.
