A standing ovation for you bro. Your ingenuity has definitely restored my faith in relative to the blight future of the Nigerian youths whose moral decadence I thought has leaped into the dept of abysmal to no recovery. I can now breathe with air of pride and confidence that there are still determined and focused youths like myself out there with the sheer will to make do better of themselves and the nation Nigeria as a whole. Thank you! |
My knowledge about this subject is limited but I totally get the message Plaetton is trying to convey and I'm not sure where the rambling and argument from this topic is coming out from since I feel users who read this thread and commented on it are educated and literate and Plaetton eloquence was simplistic enough. In every mans term, Plaetton is trying to argue out his frustration or observations as to why the uproar from other divisions of the Christian group is upset at the Pope, specifically at the Catholic church for twisting it's doctrines a little bit to accommodate and tolerate some actions that might considered sin in the past in Christendom. He then went on further to say things have changed since time immemorial when Christianity was still in it's adolescence and it's time to revise some of it's doctrines to sooth people of today's and who else has the right to do so except for the Mother Church which is the Catholic church itself and that's exactly what the new pope is doing. He also explain why the contempt from other Church groups or derivatives is obvious because members from their own church who have been emotionally blackmailed into worship in their church would see light from the new message of the Catholic church and might shift boats thereby inadvertently weakening their pay loads of tithes and offerings which is truthfully the main targets of these churches since they're all just business organizations in the guises as churches... This is just what I think Plaetton message was trying to convey and I might not be totally right so please Plaetton kindly make corrections and assertions if you think so. |
It didn't take me up a millionth of a second to figure out that this is definitely not a drone. It's probably some cheap knock-out imitation/copy of a toy drone. Not sure what all the fuss and hype is about... |
I'm not sure where you guys culled those traditional marriage rites list from buts it's totally different from where I'm from. I'm from Aguleri, a local town/community in Anambra state and our traditional marriage list is totally different. Getting traditionally married to a girl/lady/woman from my town/community is downright on the economical state. You only need a tuber of yam, kola nuts, one schnapps (hot drink) and ego orji (Usually #5). Though I can't deny the absolute truth that this is not usually so with people from other states and communities so people, choose carefully your bride's provenance. |
trixandra: To answer your question. we are all not after your money but some of use get carried away by the material thingsVery honest reply. |
Oil dependent Nations should immediately start seeking for alternative source of revenue because come 2-3 decades from now, fossil fuel would no longer be used as primarily used as fuel anymore. |
@Sagamite, You're just like my evil twin. I awed in the way you explained in your own terms about Nice girls and girls with physical attractive qualities.. I totally am in accordance with your statements. I loved the rebuttal with your argument with that lady too. This is the most irritating quality about the black woman, her total aggressiveness and attitude and as your finely put it, the hoodrat syndrome. They do think they got life and everything figured out and it's most times very annoying. I hope you continue to school these biitches and put them to their places. Also, nice one with the don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining phrase. I think I'm going to adopt that euphemism/analogy. |
Vivly: Dunno. He deactivated. Thanks.Interesting. |
Vivly: He ported from nairaland to .........................Where? |
Vivly: Drama plenty. Just PM the guy. Ish should be private. From the look of things, He's not ready to play the Sexkillz and ogugua online game.Hey! Where's Sexkillz? BTW, Nice profile picture. I had a thought you were light skinned. |
lorretta u: babe same thing I was going to say. What normal Nigerian guy marries at 26? To a woman with 2 kids from another man nonetheless. Older than him too for that matter.Hey! You just tied the knot two days ago and you now think you have already got life and marriage all figured out..lol.. Congrats by the way. |
This article was definitely not written by an American. I'm sure this poorly concocted article was created by one fat unemployed Nigerian graduate employed by Seun and his Cadre as a temp to help increase traffic. I think it's working though! |
plaetton: Thank you very much for that education. This is weird! It's like going back to the beginning of time. I never thought I'd ever witness this. The first time Plaetton gives up/backs down on an argument... I need to go check my clock if it is working anti-clockwise. |
This is by far the most poorly and ridiculous piece of bullcrap I've ever come across. |
Is it me or is his head shaped like the tip of a dicck? |
Their kind should begin to understand that humanity has yet come in terms with their sexuality and trying to force an innocent individual into such practices might lead to disdain then to contempt then furthermore into destruction. Bottom line of my point is, homosexuals should only stick to their kind. |
Csami: Sorry o! But might I ask, are u that depressed? Not really. I'm not really into that genre of comedy. I favor sarcasm and its the same reason why I feel strongly attached to 2 and the half men when Charlie Sheen was still init and not forgetting another favourite titled Arrested Development. #WINNING |
Aguleri, Anambra |
BTW, you need to edit the title of this thread. It's the Big Bang and not the Big Bang theory. |
BTW, you need to edit the title of this thread. What you mean is the comical series titled the Big Bang and not the Big Bang theory. The Big Bang theory actually means something totally different. |
For some weird reason unknown to me. I don't find this comical drama series to be funny. All I just see are bright colours and some white dudes trying to be funny. |
Interesting read. Your moniker should be deep thoughts. I enjoy reading most of your self written mini articles discussing about your own belief system of the entity 'God' unlike other brothers who just copy and paste. |
Truckpusher: I do think you have a point...though it's better for people to express their grief in times like this than to bottle it up......bottling it up is the unhealthy part takes place.Different strokes for different folks. I was just giving a friendly advice. I'll drink to her memory. It seems she was really loved by many. |

freecocoa: To what end? You think closing the thread mean we all forget vivian?I'm not saying her memory should be forgotten but celebrated for the kind of life she lived. I learnt she's a sweet bird. She would always remain dear and sweet to those who know she was. This thread is getting unhealthy and not helping her memory. A rememberance and a final good bye salute should be done on her birthday which from what I've read on this thread is soon. She's gone and no amount of mourning would bring her back. I don't know who she is or where she's gone to but I'm sure she doesn't want to be mourned but to be remembered by those who loved her and those who hold her dear. |
This thread should be closed. |
Idowuogbo: Drew, leave me alone!!! Leave me!!! Haaaa! Take a break? Y? Answer me!!! Y?!!!I've seen first hand on how the trauma of loosing a close friend or relative could do. It could psychologically affects a person state of mind to a temporary or permanent mentally inbalanced stage. Your mourning is getting unhealthy. Instead of making matter worse by posting memobiliars and conversations of this person which is going to keep making you feel worse, you should get off Nl and take a break. Just a friendly advice. |
The mourning here is getting unhealthy. Things happen for a reason and no one knows what actually happened to this person. A day off Nairaland and other social networking sites should suffice. I'm talking to you ID. Take a break, go to the beach, smoke some pot, clear your head, cuddle with your lover and reflect on life and why we're here. This thread should be taken off. Just my advice though. Take it or leave it. |
The words that has been making rounds on this thread are evangelical athiesm and 'New' athiesm. Most religious individuals on here has seen this as a sign of hypocrisy and using these new found athiestical worldview as thatch for their argument which is quite ridiculous. Your religion tends to spread its philosophies and ideas through evangelism and ministering to non believers and people of other faith. I don't see the reason why it's now hypocritical when atheist alike are trying to expose frauds, errors and myths about your religion to those who are willing to listen and be enlightened. It's not like they're asking for tights and offerings for their efforts in return. |
I.D, not cool! |
