Use normal Dell charger other than your and see if the system is charging or not. It could be a charger's problem. If the problem occurs again,then your batter pot is faulty.

Please check the voltage of the charger before puting it into your system.

Two things may be the causes of your system problem.

1. The new battery is not compatible with your Laptop.

2. The charger you're using may be too weak in voltage to supply a sufficient power to charge your system.

Therefore, try as many batteries as possible or use different model chargers to charge the battery.
