A female friend of mine was just jilted by her boy friend after almost 8year of promising relationship.

According to her, she has done everything possible to prevent/denied any man in the past(including myself) into her life because of this guy. She also confess to me that she'd never denied him whenever he needed her whether for sex or something else.

She was called by her bf parent on wednesday, on getting there, they broke the news to her that her fiance has done a terrible mistake by impregnated a young girl whose parent refused to accepted nonsense but to married their daughter immediately. They plead my friend that they still love her to be their son wife blablabla.

I don't even know what/how to advise her. She will turn 30yrs later this year. She said they would have got married but the guy refused to take her to alter without getting a comfortable job. I really felt sorry for her.

Some men are just wicked, I can't do such a thing to a lady.

Marriage might not be everything in life,but time will come that you won't be able to withstand the urge to have your own family and kids especially if all of your mates and friends are all married with children.

@op, humans are spiritual being. Despite reading many dream hypothesis,I'm yet to accept/stick with a specific causes of the dream. This is because, conscious and unconscious imaginations are as a result of physical interaction with the matters.

To me, dream is our ideal world.

I think the last time UBA declared shares bonus in particular was before may 2012. I don't have shares with them,but my friends does and i could remembered how they were complained about 1-50 shares bonus then. You don't need to worry much about it,at least for now.

I'm very happy you have a cscs account, which mean your account might have been automatically credited if you have received any bonus from them. All you need to do is to see a broker through which you bought it.

Besides,did you used any poster's address of your when you bought it?

Skye- 25+k on 1 million for 3months fixing. Both in 2010.

Base on the above, you may not receive 5k on 100k in 3months.

What type of salary are we talking about?

It should be noted that there are people whose salary could not even sustain them in terms of foods,rent,transport etc.

I saved more than 40% of my income because I'm single. This might not possible for married person but atleast every sensible well paid salary earner should save 20% of their salary.

Why will there be a need for an entity or part of the man to be some where for God to be able to resurrect man?

If Adam was brought to life without him existing somewhere, then God does not need us to be some where to enable resurrection.

Meanwhile, why do you think there is need for one to store up treasure in heaven?

I didn't deny the fact that you backed up your claims with some bible verses. Infact I knew all of these bible verses even before you posted them.

Our major difference are;

1. Interpretation of Gen 2:7.

2. The position of the soul,ie external/dead with the body.

Spirit is indeed the core of man and is the living essence in Man. It had existed in the Spiritual Realm (Paradise) as a spirit-germ i.e. immature and without experience but needed to travel down into cooler regions where it could go through the necessary experiencing which would enable it attain the needed maturity before it can return home(paradise) as a fully conscious and mature spirit which can then contribute positively and tangibly to the Activity up there in Paradise. In descending to the World of Matter (which is where the Earth is) the spirit-germ had to cover itself with a number of cloaks before finally taking on the final cloak we call the physical body here on earth. When man dies, it is only the outermost cloak (the physical body) that is laid aside. The spirit, together with its other cloaks forms the "Soul" and this Soul passes over to the Ethereal sphere in order to continue its further experiencing there. If it is able to 'complete' its experiencing in the Ethereal Realm and attains the requisite maturity, it will again shed its ethereal cloak and proceed higher until it finally returns to Paradise as a pure and fully mature spirit. That is the path of development for the the spirit of Man. Most spirit-germs however are not able to make it back to Paradise as we get entangled in the superficiality of earthly pursuits of wealth, fame and ego-trip!

@ TroGunn and Truthislight, I laff at you both. Let me quickly remind you some of the points you've made in your previous posts.

Body or soul is merely a dust and man is notting but dust of the earth. Man became a living soul as a result of breath of life from God.

Are you talking about resurrection of dust or what?

truthislight: The "spirit" is from God and is the power of God, the spirit of God like the electric current is use by the almighty God to do whatever he wants to do and he is the custodian of it.
(the spirit of God is not the same thing as electric current)

eg:

1. The almighty use his spirit/power for creation.

2. To give life to living things.

3. To energies his prophet.

4. He used it to empower Jesus christ(as a dove)

5. To empower Jesus disciples as tongues of fire.

6. God use his spirit to do all things even to make animal to talk.

That the spirit of God empower/energised something does not mean that the spirit turns to that thing.
Just as:
That electric current energises something does not mean that the thing turns to the electric current.

This spirit is what powers the dust/mould that we then refer to as soul.


soul is that state when the dust/mould is "alife" when it is powered by the spirit.

Soul is a word use to indicate that the entity is being energies by the spirit of God for it to come to life, that state of having life.

Just that state.

TroGunn: Soul and spirit are different. Gen 2:7 shows what they are.

While the soul refers to a person/ animal, the spirit is that which gives life to the body. The spirit (breath of life) is that invisible life-force from God that animates the body, without which the body dies, pretty much like current that powers the robot. - Job 34:14-15.

TroGunn: All the answers are in the Bible and it's clear. The problem people have is inability to let go of traditions and accepting the clear message from the scriptures.

Though,I'm strongly believe/in support that there are many answers as regards to soul and body in the bible,but on a more serious note, we shouldn't have various view if that's the case.

My point is that,if all the answers were in the bible,why are we here today?

TroGunn: The verse shows clearly that man became a living soul. . Man is the soul - the breath from God is not the soul. Read it again slowly, and you may want to go thru thread from the beginning to come to speed.

Then, what is the soul? Where was the soul came from? And what is the soul after death?

Let say we believe the unscriptural lie that an immortal soul is actually what controls the body and not the living brain, so what happens to the soul of people with brain damage? Why do such people become useless? Do their souls abandon them to the damaged brain or the soul is no longer capable of controlling the body? What utter thrash!

This stupid teaching just portrays "Christianity" in bad light - thankfully the Bible does teach that crap. Common sense and general knowledge proves that the brain is what conrtrols the body. When the brain dies, man or soul dies. And this is what is in the Bible.

You must know that the questions of this nature are quite esoteric. No man on earth can provide absolute answers to them.

We made a bible as our point of reference in order to arrive at a particular conclusion.

The above bible verse is enough to ascertain the fact that the soul is breath from God and it's external/ immortal. It goes back to God at death and the dead body on the other hand,returns back to the dust of the earth from which it was made.
