God bless you, brother! Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Emir Mohammed Sanusi II), the erudite, top-notch banker, administrator, orator, well-exposed, brilliant, intelligent financial expert, who in spite of all of these, is completely at home with his culture!

Some nincompoop who are so beholden to Western (European) culture here on Nairaland can never appreciate this issue. Whether Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Efik, Idoma, Tiv, Anga, Tarok, Jukun, Igala, Bini, Ibibio, Ika, Birom, etc, I love Nigerians who are proud of their cultures and display it.

I remember wearing an agbada in Eindhoven, Netherlands 15 years ago and curious friends and other Europeans were so genuinely fascinated. They thought a so-called well exposed Nigerian should not be seen wearing anything other than shirt, suits, tie, jeans, etc. Had to educate them and they learned!

Jonathan did way better. His team members were drawn from some of the best institutions across the globe etc Arthur Anderson, Goldman Sachs, United Nations, Harvard, MiT, etc.

Olisa Metuh, the obviously confused clown claiming to be a party spokesman? Why bother with him?

Hate or love Lai Mohammed, he proved his mettle as party spokesman 1 million times! He was a square peg in a square hole.

The other day, a friend (a staunch PDP supporter) told me that Lai Mohammed must have issued 2 million press statements in the last 3 years and he wondered whether (or not) the man sleeps because the alacrity with which he responded (and still respond) to issues even well past mid-night was so inspiring.

The guy pointedly said: "Lai Mohammed made our own Olisa Metuh look like a form one pupil shaking before the School Principal on the first day in school"! LOOOOL

PoliticsRe: Senate Under Pressure Over Ngige, Amaechi, Shittu by DTaj: 9:23am On Oct 12, 2015
That daft convention of having 2 senators out of maximum 3 endorse a Ministerial nominee is as daft as any insane rule. How could Senators bring their local 'gra-gra' politics to the National Assembly and prevent their 'political enemies' from being confirmed?

PDP is a party of hypocrites!

What happened when ALL 3 Lagos Senators opposed Obanikoro's nomination? Wasn't he cleared under David Mark's Senate Presidency?

What happened when the same Bukola Saraki brought local Ilorin/Kwara politics to the Senate and refused to support the nomination of Prof. Oba Abdulraheem as Chairman of Federal Character Commission (FCC)? Didn't he fail as the Senate under David Mark over-ruled him and confirmed Abdulraheem?

Same thing happened when Edo senators refused to support GEJ's nomination of Minister of Works. Didn't David Mark's 7th Senate confirm the man in the face of opposition by ACN senators influenced by Oshiomhole?

Now, it is the turn of APC nominees and clowns in PDP-controlled states are shouting 2-Senator rule!

Where were they when David Mark ensured that ALL PDP nominees from AC/ACN/APC controlled states scaled through Senate screening in spite of opposition from the opposition party? Bunch of hypocrites!!!

So, if Clark says he wants to join the APC tomorrow, the ediots on this forum will jump for joy, even after castigating him. Read his interview well, you will deduce that, he is still in the PDP, but just not active. The PDP has made it clear, that the days of Anenih and Clark are long gone. Unlike the living dead APC who prefer to die in politics, in the PDP, they have been benched and the baton has been passed to the young. In 6 yearstime, Nigerians will understand and appreciate the innovative agenda of the new PDP.
POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
What is this fool writing? The daft man Edwin Clark said he had quit politics and he is no longer a member of PDP and won't join APC or any other party and you still write about him joining APC? How daft can daft be?

The hallucination of PDP morons is way beyond normal!

The same Edwin Clark who threatened to burn Nigeria should the Daft One, the Shoeless Clueless One lose the elections is now sermonizing about his support for Buhari and anti-corruption! The same Edwin Clark that was Jonadaftthan's god father? How time flies!

Anyway, the old man told us what we already knew: 'Jonathan had no will power to fight corruption; 'Jonathan was too gentle to rule Nigeria'; 'Ruling Nigeria is beyond being a gentleman'.

Jonathan was not only to weak and gentle to rule Nigeria, he was number 5 in the rank of 'women Presidents' under his so-called Presidency (as stated by OBJ), the others, in order of influence, being Patience Jonathan, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Stella Oduah, and lastly the 'weakest of the 5', Jonathan, the so-called President!

The woman is an adviser to UN Secretary General, Moon. She was also special adviser on Millenium a Development Goals (MDGs) under OBJ, Yar'Adua and briefly under Jonsthan who removed her for his kinswoman, Mrs. Gbenol.

So, she deserves the nomination. Those hungry Gombe clowns should shut up. Not all positions should go to politicians.

You don't have a brain! Go and check the Nigerian Constitution! Buhari CANNOT appoint less than 36 Ministers (one per state)!

He has already reduced his cabinet by 6.

OBJ, Yar'Adua and Jonathan appointed 42 Ministers (one per state, 36, as made compulsory by the Nigerian Constitution; and additional 6 for each geo-political zone). However, Buhari is going to appoint only 36 (reduced by 6 compared to 42 appointed by past PDP governments)...

BusinessRe: TSA Freezes Interbank Market, Bank Transactions FROZEN!! by DTaj: 7:17am On Sep 16, 2015
I am reading so many damn ignorant posts here condemning Buhari on the TSA issue! In these days of ubiquitous 'Google', people are still this ignorant? Or are you guys damn so filled with hatred for anything Buhari that you can't see the obvious benefits of this TSA thing! Yes, temporary paralysis, but it is in the interest of the entire banking system and the economy. Banks would now start doing real banking!!!

Did anyone read comments made by seasoned economists like Mr. Bismark Rewane, Dr. Doyin Salami, Dr. Biodun Adedipe, and others on the overall positive impact of the TSA? These are people who really know about the economy and not the fools spewing rubbish here on Nairaland, people who do not know even basic Economics 101, and are largely PDP waste materials and eternal loafers!

It is so amusing to see daft Jonathan people here attacking Buhari on a policy (same TSA) their timid clown called Jonadafthan refused to develop the balls and will power to implement, although he started it!!! Under Jonathan, several deadlines for implementation were issued by the CBN, Accountant General of the Federation, etc, but because everyone (banks and civil servants) knew that Jonathan was too weak, they simply refused to comply! They ignored the deadlines. But there is 'a new sheriff in town', a sheriff who has the balls, the will power, and focus to lead! Not an unprepared canoe builder from the creeks who claim to have an empty PhD!!!

PDP and its band of Wailing Wailers, tribal bigots, religious zealots, and their ilk are really what they are: 'a band of nincompoops bereft of any form of logical reasoning, thinking, or mental alertness'!
