I compared it with the laws of worldly nations today and it still sounds more advanced and reasonable. At the Bolded, All the laws of the world are man-created laws Not God's Laws which is Natural Law. While Natural Law (God's Laws) Are Perfect and Always Good, man created laws are Fraudulent, Corrupt and Deprive men of their God-Given Right or they Shortchange it, to the profit of a specific group of Persons. It is even because the evil man is unable to change the whole of God's Law that is why his False laws have some good in them in that they merely Repeat What God has Already Provided through Natural Law, which they could not Alter or change. So, there is No Basis of Comparing evil men created laws with God's Laws! |

donnie: Thank you! ...Very clearly put. The actual Hebrew word used for NEW testament in the KJV is RENEWED testament. But our people have chosen lawlessness as a religion.
MESSIAH was himself a teacher of the law. He taught the spirit of the law and it's right application. He was never a law breaker, nor did he abolish the commandments as many teach. Yes, The Lord was bringing to our attention that His Laws that is Natural Law, are Still in Force! This is because evil men have Hidden and Perverted The Laws of God which were known in the Days of Old. Which is why as it is Written "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls." Jeremiah 6:16 Tom Inglis "Show Us the Ancient Paths! Lord we confess that we have wandered Far from Your purpose and plan And willingly walked in the wrong direction We've disobeyed Your commands Father forgive us, Spirit come lead us Back to the way Back to the truthBack to the foot of the cross Show us the ancient paths Lead us along eternal highways We want to walk in the ways of Jesus We want to enter Your restShow us the ancient paths Lead us along eternal highways We want to follow the footsteps of Jesus We want to enter Your rest Lord it's Your mercy and good intention That constantly calls us to You Your infinite patience and kind correction Your covenant love coming through You are our hope and our salvation You promise joy Your give us grace And courage to carry the cross |

I modeled myself after him, trying my best to tell the truth even if it meant physical consequences. As a teenager and possessing more wisdom than an eight year old, I realized the man fibbed for the smallest and most unnecessary reasons. It was too late, I was already moulded. I lie once in a while — not because I have to but because people try to take advantage of me in situations; knowing I will provide the most honest of responses. While I understand your rationale for your action but I reiterate that it is weak people who have the need to lie. |

OpenYourEyes1: If it's far more advanced, imagine how advanced the New Law is. I was listening to the old law days ago and I was shocked how intelligently it was put together to fit the ancient people and their peculiar situation. I believe strongly it was extremely moral and reasonable than any law in existence then. I compared it with the laws of worldly nations today and it still sounds more advanced and reasonable.
Now compare that with the New Law from GOD to believers, you would understand how extremely advanced, reasonable and holy the New Law is. Just imagine what the World will be like if it follows the New Law. What you wrongfully call the old testament Law is A Detailed and Comprehensive Presentation of the List of the Highest and the Rightest Laws of Natural (God's) Laws for man and on man. What you wrongfully call New Law is an Abridgment or Summary of the God's Laws (Natural Law) which you and all men Already Know, but men choose to do whatever they like, because they can. There is No New Law but a Restatement of The Law. |
Christianity Etc › Re: One Way God Teaches His Chosen! by Dtruthspeaker: 7:20am On Oct 19, 2020 |
Preciousgirl: Often, a Christian would pray: "Lord teach me, grant me understanding..." However, when the Lord begins to teach them, they run to the Lord with tears: "Lord why me?" The Lord teaches you with your daily experiences: the difficulties, trials, afflictions, lacks, betrayals, mockery, attacks, rejections etc. The world calls it EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING.
Experiential learning also known as (EXL) is the process of learning through experience, and is more specifically defined as "learning through reflection on doing."
It is not enough to read or hear about Abel, Joseph, Job, David etc. For you to learn/know THE LIFE (CHRIST), you must experience Job, David and the like. You must be hated, rejected and betrayed/sold; you must be stripped naked and flogged, then crucified. You must be lonely, hungry and thirsty for you to know THE LIFE.
Paul was beaten three times with RODS. Once he was stoned and shipwrecked three times (2 Corinthians 11:25). That was how he learnt THE LIFE. Be still and learn under the feet of THE HOLY SPIRIT. Your experiences were preordained, and all things are working together for your good
Halleluyah! The Lord is Also Using Daily living on earth to teach souls the difference between life and death, yet many do not see! |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Lust Is, And What It Is Not by Dtruthspeaker: 3:52pm On Oct 18, 2020 |
Columbine: you're definitely correct, but lust relating to sexual drive is usually rampant amongst the youths. Sometimes the overtly religious ones always thinks that sexual drive is abnormal and makes them immoral, thereby you see them having guilty conscience, that's very wrong, it's a stage of life, wether religious or not. Even MOGs do have it, but self-control makes the difference All are destroyed and die because they Lust! |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Lust Is, And What It Is Not by Dtruthspeaker: 12:14pm On Oct 18, 2020 |
Columbine: it is critical to understand t our sexual drive isn't the same as lust, for example;
• It's not lust to be attracted to someone or notice that he or she is good-looking
• It's not lust to have a strong desire to have sex
• It's not lust to anticipate and be excited about having sex within marriage
• It's not lust when a man or woman becomes turned on without any conscious decision to do so
• It's not lust to experience sexual temptation
The crucial issue in each of these examples is how we respond to the urges and desires of our sexual drive. Noticing an attractive person is not wrong, but undressing that person with your eyes or imagining what it would be like to "have" them is. A sexual thought that pops into your mind isn't necessarily lust, but it can quicky become list if it is entertained and dwelled on. An excitement for sex in marriage isn't sin, but it can be tainted by lust it it is not tempered with patience and restraint.
If you fail to make these distinctions, your fight against lust will be greatly hampered. On the other end, you can wind-up excusing sinful thoughts and actions as " just part of how I'm made," which isn't true at all. On the other, you may end up being ashamed of your sex drive, Which God rightly placed and is very much aware of it. Lust is not restricted to sex and sex drive alone but in all facets of earthly living eg lust for Possessions, Lands, Properties, Servants, Power/Authority etc |

I have heard a lady saying i got married to a chronic womanizer husband hoping that he will change the moment he gives his life to Christ because there is power in the Grace of God that change lives. But guess what? Even after all the prayers of repentance by the man, he keeps finding himself cheating on his wife. So i wonder, is there anything like the power of Grace changing people's lives without them knowing about it or them making deliberate effort to change? Any man who cheats has No Fear of God and is void of understanding. Proverbs 1, 2, 4,5, 6,7,8 and 9 is his friend if he wants. |

tobechi74: Many Christians see doubt as dangerous thinking that originate from the evil forces. A little skeptisn on one doctrine could lead to another doubt and the ripple spreads until one ends up questioning everything one ever knows. Doubtees are less likely to attend religious institution as they seek information outside the Religion established sources As a result, questioning is not encouraged. Most skepticlearn to keep their questions hidden in their head because certain things are not to be questioned. One should rely on faith. Doubting is Natural for doubts are based on reason and knowledge, therefore, Reasonable Doubt exists. But when the Accurate Reason and knowledge is Supplied or Applied to any matter, then Doubt Goes Away. And you Doubt No More but Begin-To-Live (Be-Live)! |
