WebmastersRe: Pls Recommend An Easy To Use Website Design Software by DualCore1: 12:42pm On Nov 16, 2009
Frontpage is the easiest i think but i still recommend Dreamweaver because its flexible and appeals to both beginner and advanced levels.

If a person spends time on Frontpage and gets past his beginner level, he will want to try something other than Frontpage. Then he will have spend more time again taking a stroll around the Dreamweaver interface.

Lanbaba, The easiest way forward is learning xhtml and css, then you wont need to really much on any of these software as you'll be flexible enough to work with anyone. Say, then you would even come to see that Notepad ++ is the way to go smiley.

Nice article, i couldnt read everything (i dunno what that phobia for lengthy articles is called) but i got the gist of every cuz i read the opening paragraphs, scanned through the rest in seconds and down to the closing paragraphs.

For clients like this I'll redirect them to Omni, he has a high level of tolerance for this kinda stuff. grin

i like the flash movie, its simple.
WebmastersRe: Review by DualCore1: 12:20pm On Nov 16, 2009
That site is just an example of why one should use images for the right purpose, not to display large chunk of texts.

You see how hard-to-read the front page is as a result of using image to display text with a "smooth anti-alias" setting on the font.

The site structure you got now is more like

<image> the top.jpg image
<flash>  the flash.swf
<image> the body1.jpg image
<text> the footer

my suggestion
<div id="container>
          <div id="header">put the header here, seperate your logo from your nav buttons</div>
<div id = "nav">put your nav buttons here</div>
<div id="flash_movie>put ur flash here</div>
<div id="content">
<div id="left">float this left and use for your "OVERVIEW" content</div>
<div id="right">float this left and use for your "NEWS UPDATES" content</div>
</div>
<div id="footer">your footer here</div>
</div>

there you go, with the right padding and floating it will come out just the way it should.

WebmastersRe: In Need Of Website Designer by DualCore1: 7:24am On Nov 15, 2009
You could do well to stop publicizing it until you're done working on something. Unless you don't think this affects your image in any way.

WebmastersRe: Software Engineering And Programming by DualCore1: 12:32am On Nov 14, 2009
. . .in addition to yawa's post and in my own opinion based on area of study, programming is what is used to achieve the "Coding" phase in the software development life cycle (SDLC) which forms the basis for Software Engineering.

The complete cycle is:

Planning >>>>> Feasibility analysis and requirement gathering >>>> Design >>>> Coding >>>> Maintenance and Testing

ComputersRe: How Do I Track Parcel From Fedex Site? by DualCore1: 7:42am On Nov 13, 2009
If we could get closer to google and see google as an e-god that we can always ask any questions troubling our technological lives, we will get quicker answers.

search for the following in google.com "track parcel on fedex"
the first result gives you the link to fedex's tracking page.
You can track upto 30 items in one submission.

ComputersRe: Help My Computer Keep Beeping From Start Up by DualCore1: 9:37pm On Nov 12, 2009
Worst case scenario: unscrew the keypad from the back and unplug the keypad from the motherboard. Then run the machine.
If the beeping stops then we know the bad guy. If it doesn't (very very unlikely), erm. . . i dunno call bill gates or something, he put us into the mess.

I havnt ripped a lenovo apart before (i never will, hopefully), so I cant provide you with schematics as to what screws to remove and how to get the keypad out. but remember this is a worst-case-scenario thingy, you do it you void warranty (if any).
