I'm not saying anything is bad with using Dreamweaver o. What I really hate to see is someone using Dreamweaver solely in Design view, someone who doesnt even know the Split and Code views exist (there are people like that).

As per using the plain Notepad, I cant. Its too backward.

Put the images in the right folder(s) and reference them properly in your source, you could do some lil reading on relative and absolute paths.

I spend more time (hours) on notepad++ while i have 3 browsers running on another monitor. I still get to use DW CS4 a few times. If that makes me foolish, well its your opinion. With due respect, your statement is unacceptable by me but its your opinion so i can't take you to court for it tongue

Your "tools" cant do everything and your sole dependence on them make you their slave.
You may never understand until a client comes with a requirement specification that's way outta your "tools'" scope. Then you'll start google'ing lines of codes(codes for your very own job) to see what they do.

Its not all about meeting your deadline. Good software engineers work with a scope as specified in the Requirement Specification document and they will never trade well laid out standards for time.
