Ehya

But when USA announced that an attack was going to happen last week and they evacuated all embassy staff and sent out travel warnings for Ukraine and also expressly told all their citizens in Ukraine to leave and provided flights for them

Where was Nigerian government? If you no get intelligence or ear to hear
Why not copy from your neighbor? Na so we dull reach?

Ok after failing then, India made arrangements with Poland to allow Indians in and evacuate them from there, Nigeria (giant of Africa) could not do that, they turned Nigerians back at the border this is shameful.

But e no concern you ma

We should all be smart enough to understand these simple facts of life especially social media

I will not snap and put on social media that I couldn't afford fuel for generator today or I fought for 100naira change with conductor

Because I used 100% of my salary to buy phone or cloth or house or do ri me in club I will post it online that's how it is. Also people that stole to buy those things will not say that's what they did.

So use you that is going to Social media to look for inspiration use your head beware thread wisely. Try to succeed legitimately that's all. Yes, it is very very possible to succeed in Nigeria legitimately. I know from first hand experience of my papa.

I don't know why plumptre is not plumpy that aside,

My advice to the Falcons coach is this please try and select fine girls

Even if we are not winning Atleast let us have players that we are comfortable looking at, players we can be proud to say these are our own, players who will be confident in their looks.

Just look at the D'Tigress in the looks department they are Ok and it shows on the court they play with confidence and even when they are losing Atleast their faces are appealing to look at not all these Uchenna Kanu and co. With their strong strong manly faces I used to think your game plan was to frighten the girls from the other team but clearly it has not been working

So please and please let's try something different, I am saying this because I know for a fact there are fine girls on the team and you dropped them girls like Patricia George and Onyinyechi Zogg

You were supposed to be the king maker

The king maker becoming king is not a good sign

You are too old to rule Nigeria which actually has one of youngest populations on earth with an average age of 18.1 years

The person who is supposed to crown the king, wants to crown himself. No naw.

Hahaha. this can never be Ijebu. And Ijebu is not Lagos.

Go to Ijebu, go and see Chief Adeola Odutola colonial majestic castle like building still standing and well maintained till date.

Two things you can not associate with the Yoruba; unclothedness and Cannibalism.

Yoruba don't have a history of walking naked and cannibalism.

And here is why; the Yoruba have centuries old cloth weaving technology called Ofi or Asooke and the yoruba have always had food in abundance because there is abundance of water bodies and land. That is why the Yoruba are not land locked and barren.

Those two are never part of Yoruba culture.
Stop lying the clothes or whatever was used as clothes from the woven material was not enough to go round and was not affordable for all, it was reserved for certain people

michlins:
brother, we were moving around naked before the Europeans came. We're just going back to our roots
EXACTLY this is what I am here to preach, you shouldn't fear unclothedness it is normal human nature ESPECIALLY for us as AFRICANS, ALL AFRICANS including the NORTH AFRICANS we were all naked it is and was our original culture.
Suit in 37°c sun coupled with the high humidity in southern Nigeria is pure stoopidity and I am a lawyer telling you this
Jalabia and agbada in 37 - 40°c desert heat up north in northern Nigeria , Sahel Africa and North Africa is Fullishness of the highest order

This is our ORIGINAL culture: not our borrowed ARAB and EUROPEAN attires and culture and religions
1. North African Arab black 1920
2. North African Arab Amazigh 1910 to 1920
3. Fulfude girl pre 1900's
4. Igbo

I have similar pictures of Ijaw, Fulani, Yoruba, Nupe, Hausa etc etc but I can't find the file now

The Berbers or Amazigh only used to cover their nose and mouth from the fine desert sand so they only ever used clothes around their necks for that purpose they didn't wear them the way we do today until the Arabs invaded and re invaded them and imposed izlam on them and we are were we are today.
Same with us here

So basically if China had colonised us we'd all be Buddhist's today; meaning if China had colonised our ancestors that would have meant they would have adopted Buddhism and they would have taught us the Chinese system, culture and everything which we would today have adopted and foolishly called our own the way many fulanis and hausas think jalabia is their own native attire it isn't it's Arabic traditional wear, imagine an IJAW woman would have been wearing local Chinese dress and calling it her native wear the same way southern Nigerian women wear HOLLANDaise and call it native even though the name is HOLLANDaise how is Holland native to Nigeria lol

You people who think you are smart and you have morality, I am here to tell you that the compass with which you measure morality doesn't even belong to you it belongs to the Arabs and the Europeans but not yours. I you knew this you'd not type all what you type in the guise of GOOD OLD DAYS because you have ABSOLUTELY no idea what the REAL OLD DAYS were like. This was and is the real good old days Infact it was worse than these because by the time this pictures were taken these guys had already been trading and getting clothe materials from the Arabs and Asians in general as well as the Europeans for about 200years prior so imagine 200to 400 years before this picture when there was ZERO major trade contact between us Africans and the Arabs or Europeans

The good old days...... Now, what we have is a joint where prostitutes meet and display smelling and disgusting body parts.

I need that old days please
This was the REAL GOOD OLD DAYS not the nonesense colonialist time you think we're good old days when you showed nonesense "native wears" out of Turkish prints and Holland materials known as hollandaise and Indian and other foreign materials you called wrappers this were your true ancestors your true history not that brief stop in time between the 1960's to the 80's
This was from year 1 till year 1900's this is your true history your original real ancestors not our brainwashed mummies and daddies

Good Morning All,
Please who knows how to go about securing a visa for Czech Republic. I am been invited for work over there. I Don't know how to go about it. I don't know any honest agent I can use to get that. Neither have I been to embassy before. I have my International Passport with me.
The MD of the company offering me the job said i should ask the embassy the necessary requirements to issue me a schengen visa.
Some persons are saying it's the company's responsibility to do the needful by securing the visa for me.
Pls help a brother, have been restless since last week, have not done any positive move , because the whole issue is complicated. Different persons with different opinions. For those that have the idea or experience of how to go about it.
Please I need your sincere inputs. I would appreciate.
Regards.

You this lazy girl, what have you offered to buy the men?

Give it to others na if you don't want the food or just say no thank you.

Is it not what your hand reach you'll afford? It is lunch the men can afford.

You that can afford more, when the men offer you lunch you in turn offer them the latest iPhone, a car or a house.

CareerRe: Career Dilemma: Getting A Skill Vs LLB? by DuBLINGreenb(m): 3:41pm On Jan 21, 2022
mirror:
Learning a skill is tougher than reading law books. You better go and read your law jeje.
Lol you really think so?

Ask yourself do Nigerians go to court? Or they "leave am for God"

Then consider how many Nigerians Use chairs and tables in their houses compare and contrast those numbers. How many Nigerians need carpenters for their roofing or scaffolding?

That is ONE.

part TWO.

Carpentry may take you 1 or 2 years to learn depending on how smart and gifted you are, same with generator repairs, I learnt it while holding touch for them and watching my dad and the generator repairer whenever they did whatever they did to repair the gen so I knew if I hear this sound this is what is wrong and this is what you do or change.

on the other hand, I am a lawyer, go and check the failure rate from law school and even universities
Almost every year you hear over 20% or 23% failed

Go and read past questions from Nigerian law school and see why

Also look at the pay lawyers make monthly I'm not talking of the highest 1% of earners the popular ones you hear on radio daily

So I wil tell you as one who knows what it's like on both sides

Learning a skill is WAY easier than 2 semesters of about 6 to 7 course per semester for 5years of university (if no strikes) (if no spill over) consider all the cases (case laws) you need to know and the citations (statutory provisions) you need to have at heart. And those things won't even give you full 1 mark each it's like 0.25marks or at best 0.5marks per case cited lol

1 year law school (if no resit) with an exam that is written back to back, fail one course (E or F in one course) you have to re sit all other courses including the ones you passed, get a D in any course you have to re write that particular course.

And after all that finding a firm to work for or starting out on your own is another tough stuff except you have people you know the normal Nigerian doings.

I know you may be hoping on your family and friends to bring cases to you;

I will give you one tip tho, family, friends and acquaintances will refuse to pay you because they know you, you are their brother etc

I prepared documents for an ex class mate since a year ago and till today he didn't come back for them, these documents will cost him a mere 5,000naira because of simple 5,000naira my guy is avoiding me, dodging me, did he think because I am a lawyer I will not pay court processes and all that even if I don't collect my own professional fee won't he pay for the cost of processing the documents? The affidavit? The stamp duty and all that, nobody else will prepare such documents for 5k but as a friend I did it for him with my money and he went into hiding for ordinary 5k.

A colleague of mine whenever he wants to discuss his renumeration or get paid, I usually go with him or for him so that they( his community people, friends, church members etc) won't beg him, they'll talk with me or hand the money to me or to an account that doesn't bear his name, so it's not their brother they are interfacing with or paying it's the firm or me. Because Nigerians like to take people they know for granted, they also love to price, they price lawyers as if they are buying fish or egusi in market.

You will face things like these also people don't believe your work is difficult because almost 80 to 90% of what you do they don't see, they only see maybe a few paper works and maybe the results but they don't understand the long tiring processes and the hours of preparations, even if they see they won't understand so to them it's not worth the money.

Guy law is NOT for the faint hearted

IT IS definitely NOT for those who want to get rich quick

This thing I am telling you guys nobody else will tell you so whether you like take it or leave it when you enter and start sweating in a black suit under our hot Nigerian 36 degree Celsius heat for meagre pay is when you will know how far

Finally consider the cost: when last I check lawschool fees ALONE cost 280k or more, without cost of books some of my books cost 12k some cost 50k then there is law reports you subscribe to which costs even more, then transportation to Abuja or wherever your lawschool is situated. The insecurity on the roads. There's a lot to consider my friend, because you haven't been their you won't know, some died going back home after the law program, some died on their way back during externship, some died going to the law school you can Google these things like the one I heard of last a Cameroonian law student drowned in a ship that sank on its way to Cameroon from Nigeria after his law school program. Feel free to Google anything or ask anyone who is knowledgeable.
