Sessegnon is despoiling the entire nigerian defence, hope AW'z scouts are watching this! grin grin cool cool
I actually fell asleep on my couch while watching the Nigerian match (a little too much pasta in the afternoon), but Sessegnon is good and won MOM in the match PSG played against Athletico during the Emirates cup.
I hope most disgruntled fans can now put the Everton draw in perspective after watching them demolish Shitty, if we are able to get the 6 points against Bolton, things will look much better.

Seems those old pensioners barred their teeth today and gave a very poor Sunderland the hiding of their lives, I'm sure they were able to do that being very refreshed from the break occasioned by the weather, those old legs will soon tire out when games start coming thick and fast as we found out in December and I believe they will be found out when the UCL and FA cup are in full swing.

If Sessegnon of Benin and PSG is not an African, he would have been a very good back up for Song I think. I remember seeing him at the Emirates cup where he was very good. Versatile too.

A player like Stephane Sessegnon is actually one of the major things lacking in the Eagles at present, Amodu has not evolved a system that works and has a lot of square pegs in round holes. I hope Benin doesn't bury the Eagles finally today.

It is a pity that time has passed Mark Randall by, he is about the oldest of our youngsters now after Gilbert who has also been transfer listed and they will likely both go soon. The fact that Randall could only get a loan deal to a league 1 club speaks volumes of how lowly rated he is, his failed loan trial at Derby obviously did him a lot of disservice.
I saw this coming when Coquelin and Eastmond displaced him from the CM position in the reserves earlier this season. He may not be coming back from this loan deal if MK Dons can get into the championship.
Where is the bloke who wanted to sell a ticket the other day, does he perchance have tickets to the match at the Reebok? my brother and I are going down to watch it if the weather stays okay.

Seriously though, this guy must be very good to be U21 captain of his country at 17 yrs of age (even though they might be into the age manipulation  thingy over there too) and if he's already captain of his country at U21 level, then he must be looking to get into the first team as soon as possible. The guy must be a very confident fella.
The guy is actually as tall as Adebayor at 1.91m, so is definitely physical enough to play in the PL. If this story is true, then we might already have our Alex Song backup, only he is 17.

Another youth player to be signed from Young guns, I read this somewhere yesterday and it is being confirmed on most Arsenal youth soccer blogs. The more the merrier  grin

Make una no break my head o, all those waiting for that world class Center forward.
Arsenal will complete the signing of Bolivan winger Samuel Galindo next week, Young Guns can confirm. The player is in London and the club are in the process of applying for a ’special talent’ work permit. If granted, it would allow Galindo to go straight into the squad, instead of facing a lengthy loan spell.

Samuel, the current captain of Boliva’s Under 21 national team despite being only 17, will be a surprise signing after it appeared he would seal a switch to Everton earlier this week. Following a week-long trial, David Moyes sat down with the prospect to discuss terms, but an agreement couldn’t be reached. Instead Arsène Wenger asked for a quick look at the left winger and was instantly impressed. A quick deal has been done with Real America which will see a figure of around £500,000 change hands, although that will rise once he makes 50 appearances for the club.
For those who want a look at Wellington Silva, here is a clip of him scoring 1 and assisting 2 in the Brazillian league over the weekend.

Here are various posts about Wilshere from none Arsenal sources, can you please bring up one from someone notable and not manure related about Morrison?

From Andy Cole (former Manure player) I wonder why he hasn't said anything about Morrison  undecided
"I've written about Arsenal's Jack Wilshere before," Cole said in The Independent. "The kid is 17 [sic] and his talent is frightening.

"Every time I've seen him he's played well. I'm surprised he hasn't played more often because he's a diamond, a superstar in waiting."
Fabio Capello (English Manager)
“He has a big personality, he scores goals, he plays without fear and he has big confidence,” he added.

"His team-mates always pass the ball to him. That is not normal for a player so young.”
Stuart Pearce (English U21 Coach)
"The same will happen to Jack. He's got to try to win a place in this Under-21 team at the moment - and he's got to try to win a place in Arsenal's team at the moment.

"That will happen in time, there is no doubt about that because the boy has some fantastic talent.

"Time will tell and his ability will come to the fore. In that time I'll make sure I protect him as much as I can."

"He'll come through in his own good time. There is no point in me lauding him up and talking about senior football at the moment," he added.
Actually, this could turn out to be a stroke of genius, Campbell was still the main man in Portsmouth defence last season and kept out the likes of Younes Kaboul from the portsmouth defence last season partnering Distin who later went to Everton for 4 million and won the FA cup in the 07/08 season.
Arsene is in no way a slowPoke and he's seen this guy in training for the past 2 mnths (so he must be fit as Arsene wldn't have less). It helps us cover our bases in the short term without jeopardising places for our upcoming CBs (apart from Senderos) and also puts an older head in the dressing room that the young lads can learn from.

They don't even use him as a CB there.

One player I've had my eye on for a while is JET and he seems to be stepping up his performances, actually got an hat trick against West Ham reserves today and didn't do his push for a first team place any harm at all.
