It is you who needs to brush up your knowledge, if Cleverley was the great superstar in the championship that this fan claims, what is Watford doing in midtable of the Championship? With all due credit to the guy (as he is making a very good use of the opportunity afforded him at Watford) we've got loads who are younger and better than he is. The 3 guys who are the same age as he is in our team are Simpson (who has gotten 9 goals at QPR also in the championship), Vela and Theo Walcott and in no way would any sane person (who is not a manure supporter) claim Cleverley to be ahead of any of these three. We've also got at least 2 younger players (Wilshere and Ramsey) also ahead of him.

Need i say more?[/quote]Go and check past seasons and stop using half of a season to judge how good a player is, Cleverley arrived earlier and scored on his first 2 games for Watford after he arrived and has stayed as their first choice attacking MF since with Lansbury playing wide most of the time( and he's played 19 games and not 21). Lansbury scored more and assisted more when they played similar positions in different teams last season. Besides in central MF for us Lansbury is behind Ramsey, Merida, Wilshere and Coquelin as he played wide during the FA youth cup run.

[/quote]Lansbury has never in his life played as a striker, he can however play all MF positions and has even played RB at Watford this season, Cleverley has always  played directly behind the striker and that wld explain why he's gotten more goals and assists than Lansbury (Lansbury had more goals and assists when they were both in League 1 last year). I however know even yu can't be barmy enough to suggest Cleverley is better than Ramsey.

Biram Diouf has only 1 cap for Senegal and I'm not even sure that didnt come after he signed for Manure.

The bond will be used to repay the "senior secured notes". It was thought that the Glazers would be looking to finance the £175 million worth of payment-in-kind notes that are currently attracting 14.25% interest. However, this is considered personal debt and will not be refinanced through bonds.

Yu're being an hypocrite here, Donovan has only played one game in the PL so far and that was against us so why the quick conclusions? On his day however, he is a very good player as he showed in the confed cup and also when they beat portugal in the 2002 world cup.

Nasri isn't a defender and isn't fast - if that was Traore or Sagna, I'd wager two months' salary that he'd have caught Pienaar.

Nasri made a wrong decision, I've been watching our defensive arrangement when we take corners and both Gallas and Vermaelen go into the opponents box to present more of an aerial threat and we leave only 2 or 3 players outside the box with the LB as our last man, Nasri should never have gotten drawn towards Traore and Cahill but tracked Pienaar's run from the very moment Rosicky lost the ball. The goal was mostly Nasri's fault as he should have been confident in Traore holding up Cahill for other players to drop into defensive positions. If Cahill had beaten Traore, then it would have been Traore's fault but he didn't need to because he spotted Pienaar's unchecked run (precise pass though) Denilson lying on the turf due to injury also contributed but we definitely had more players in defensive positions than Everton had attacking.

Traore had a stinker - he was twisted inside out by Donovan and Osman all game. Towards he was very pissed off and was talking to Gallas but the old Frenchie just ignored him. Then he cleared an Everton corner when he wasn't under pressure and was mad at the other guys for not giving him a shout. I like the lad, but he didn't look good today. . . I'm glad Clichy is back in training.

Traore didn't have the best of games but truth be told, I've seen worse from Clichy and he didn't exactly cost us today though he cld have but then Donovan is a damned good player debuting in the PL and would give most other LBs as much trouble if not more.

Overall yesterday, I think the credit shld go to Everton for being that good, if they've played like that all season they wldn't be where they are now, remember they scored 3 goals and drew at Stamford bridge. One player who actually impressed me yesterday was Eduardo, he seems to be getting back in form while the player who didn't impress me was Gallas, he's had some below par performances like yesterday (I hold him responsible for our loss to chelsea but excused him since he played with a shiner and I felt he wasn't totally fit, a couple more performances like this and I'll join the Senderos in brigade)

Full credit to the team having come this far with all the players we have out, it shows how well they've developed that someone like Diaby is even earning Sauron's respect (It is obvious our first choice 3 MF now is Cesc, Diaby and Song). If Arsene can get that extra striker, Eduardo can get to anything near his best or our resident Danish fashionista returns from injury then things wld look much better.

The masters of "until we score" are at it again, may it wrk to there detriment today.
