TV5 back in full training and available for selection.

Arsene on OX:
"He needs to add urgency to his game in the final third, on the defensive side and winning the duels against men. The Premier League becomes tougher, you have seen that again against Stoke. You need that capability to go from youth-team football or lower-level football to be a top-level athlete in the Premier League.
And after the 6th day God looked at all he had created and it was very good and God rested from his work. And after the 6th goal Mancini looked at all the destruction he had wrought at Old Trafford and it was very bad. And Mancini and his boys rested from all the evil that they did to Manchester United. And Old Trafford became formless and void and darkness was upon the faces of Man United fans.  grin grin

So na wetin dem wan take the land do be that? the whole place was boarded up when last I passed it.
This is smack dab within the FFP rules, no one will complain about this. This is what Chelsea should have done when they were winning.
City will be a thorn in Manure's flesh for a very long time, I've always wanted a worthwhile derby for them in Manchester like we have with Chelsea and Tottenham.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Premier League Champions 2010/11 by duduspace(m): 8:11pm On Oct 23, 2011
With the current squad, Mancini should have no complaints if he gets sacked for not winning the PL.

Dudu na wa o. You hope Arsene keeps playing Chamahk until he get his form, and virtually the next sentence, you expect walcott to be dumped very soon.

*whistling away, no be talk o*

debosky:

You dey mind inconsistent posters wey suppose drop their keyboards asking for Walcott to be dropped? grin grin

Not really, I'm not asking Theo to be dropped. I'm saying that OX will ultimately play him out of the team and its now all about when and not if. Arsene himself says OX has to show that he can do it consistently.
If we had someone we could rely on apart from Chamakh I would say the same thing for Chamakh but Park isn't proven yet, have you forgotten I ended up wanting Bendtner to stay?
As it is, Chamakh himself is rapidly getting to a last chance saloon quicker than Theo, if his form doesn't improve soon I wouldn't rule out a January exit. I like him as a player but ultimately its all about results and a Striker should be scoring.
Why you come dey pick on me naa General Slim? I be loyal solja boi o.  grin grin
meanwhile Debo, my favorite son of the Emirates will soon be back. There is only one Abou. cheesy

@Duduspace,
I know your collective brain-power over two life-times can't match that generated by a dying wasp from it's wings so I won't dignify your idiocy with a response. You haven't managed to justify your claim from last season, yet you puck your fat nose into other people's matters.
If you have been following this forum (which I highly doubt) you would know I have not jumped on this seasons side's bandwagon.Instead your shallow reasoning is more interested in trying hard to discredit me at all costs, when the joke is still on you for making that baboonic prediction from last year.
Abeg do your idle self a favor and maintain some form of decorum instead of relegating yourself to the position of motor-park jester.
Right now my issue is with coogar. But you have set the standard for on-line lunacy with your puerile,Bishop-like posts that say everything but mean nothing in particular.

You should know by now that a mental patient's tantrum has never affected me, Coogar has always been better than you at it any way.
I know the 6 - 1 drubbing blew more than a few fuses in your brain box with its already at Somalian level paucity of useful stuff. If your memory cell's aren't starving from self induced famine you would know that you were the first to poke nose into my matter by mentioning my name without any provocation on my part whatsoever.

I don't need to discredit you because you never had any credit, anyone who is that concerned about some silly assumed online credibility needs a brain upgrade as far as I'm concerned, I've never played any online credibility game with any of y'all I leave that puerile squabble to knobheads like yourself who have nothing better to do than to elevate such stupidity.

Your team lost and lost badly too, claiming some pyrrhic victory that you never jumped on this season's bandwagon is indicative of a cognitive dissonance that requires prompt resolution. I've seen dunderheads utilize their hindsight better.

Bosigwa got a red card for a "professional foul" and that means he will miss one match, which will be Chelsea's Carling Cup match against Everton.Torres will also be back against us as he would have completed his 3-match ban by then.

Thanks jare Kay before I started rejoicing too much. I'm starting to have confidence in this team anyway, we will go there and play our game as usual and if we're efficient who knows how it will go.

Jencejyde:

@ Dudu, yup, you are very right about that, Walcot is just not that type of player who is comfortable with ball to feet.  Surprisingly i would have tot that he would make up for that by being more mobile, At times even runs can create space, but he simply dosent have that type of awareness, young man needs to learn and learn fast,

To be fair to Theo, our MF doesn't help him atimes, he used to make those runs all the time and Cesc and co wouldn't pick him out. maybe he's just gotten tired of running. The boy is trying sha and a lot of other parts of his game have improved but he'll never be easy on the eye like any of Gervinho, OX or even Arshavin with the ball to feet, immediately you see those ones, you know they are born footballers. I've never been able to fault him for effort and one can't ever really write off a player who is always trying. If only people like Vela and JET could have put in the effort he has.

This isn't a matter of backing your team when it does well. . . .he had rightly been sounding alarm bells previously, which some folk ignored because Utd was winning.

Yes some of us are more optimistic than others and go OTT atimes, Coogar is allowed jare Manure has given him the platform to make outlandish statements for a loooooong time.

Anybody seen Dudu Orumen(coogar)?
The self-proclaimed football guru?

StarBoard:

I will vilify him if that's the last thing I do on NL.
He talks like some of us aren't allowed to have an opinion on United but his swollen-headed self.
He called me names and ridiculed me on this thread just because of difference of opinion. Now that this debacle has happened, he doesn't have the guts toshow up and defend his bogus claims.
Last Friday he triumphantly predicted a big win for United.I am waiting to hear what he has to say about that, or the shoddy performance of his beloved Anderson. But trust him never to admit to being wrong. He proclaimed himself a soccer guru, and said in addition his pedigree is not up for debate.I am eagerly waiting to hear how he attempts to revive his falling and failing credibility.
I noted at the start of the season that City would be our biggest threat. In his usual self,he disagreed, saying it would be Chelsea.Yet against both sides we played poorly;we brat one and lost to the other scandalously.
Tell me if I was smoking weed when I made that projection in the light of what happened today. But Oga coogar in his all-knowing wisdom shot me down because his point has to be gotten across and his word is law and order.

Knowing that City would be the greatest threat to Manure doesn't make you a genius my man. Its been a long time coming even the Blind Swordsman saw it.
Obviously yu're the Debo of this thread. Turncoat who only backs his team when they are doing well.

Early days yet, but Gervinho might just be finding his feet and building up an understanding with RVP - assists in consecutive home games and a goal too.

Long may it continue.

Gervinho will still get a whole lot better I am sure. All the right ingredients are there. As long as he doesn't get lazy/old like Arshavin.

@JJCD
Theo's days on the flanks are numbered. 2 - 4 more qualify performances from OX and Arsene will need an unusual excuse to keep the boy on the bench.
With the ability we now have available on the flanks, it would be counter productive to keep on playing Theo there and as long as we continue to play 4-4-3, you'll need more than pace to play central for Arsenal, your hold up play must be well above average and Theo can't even hold the ball on the wings.
To keep Theo in this team in the future, we'll need a change of formation.

One can now be optimistic that this team is back on track after an early wobble.
Chamakh's form is worrying but Arsene needs to continue playing him and hope he gets his form back.
A lot of the younglings should be on show again midweek with probably Park as well who needs to score his first goal (apart from him, Per and Jenkinson all the other buys have registered goals).
It seems Manure's thread will see more action this week. grin grin grin

The pace with which this team started the season was ferocious, I always believed they'll have a dip at some point though not this early.
Tom Cleverley is also quickly becoming very critical a player to this side, your passing is a whole lot quicker when he is playing.
Not buying that CM player after Scholes left might still come back to haunt Fergie.
Overall, I still think its the massive injection of cash into city that has caused this just like Roman did for Chelsea.
This is just the beginning. Welcome to what Arsene and Arsenal have been battling with since 2005.
