seriously I go reply you, just a bit busy and slightly unsettled in a good way at present.

Lest I forget, can someone please help beg Gervinho to be serious when he gets on the pitch? that guy should be scoring and making goals for fun and a run of 3 games like that for Walcott and I'll be sure he's finally turned a corner.

Another 'shepe keeping' performance by Torres today, giving the ball away at every opportunity. Even the small form he was showing has disappeared. Maybe its because Sturridge and Mata didnt start the game. cheesy

Commentator giving AVB stick for keeping Torres on the pitch and taking off Anelka. Another poor performance from the Portuguese Kevin Keegan.

Chelsea usually go into freefall in November. We needed the win so we dont get that 'November feeling' again. Lets hope the Portuguese Kevin Keegan has not moved our seasonal November wobble forward to October.

Erm Ibime, na so the situation critical reach? what is this doing on Fantasy league thread? grin grin

Trust a doughnut brain like you to misconstrue a genuine assessment of the performance yesterday.
There's no harm in giving credit where it's due, even to a fierce rival. It's difficult for you to do,so I can imagine your amazement.

Nope, I was just gobsmacked a dimbulb like you has the capacity to appreciate a good performance, it was all the more surprising cos I'd never noticed you doing so before. I also applaud good performance when its on display.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Arsenal Fan Thread (the Night Is Darkest Just Before The Dawn) by duduspace(m): 12:29am On Nov 01, 2011
Our new found grit in MF is built on the twin towers of Arteta and Song, anybody who hasn't seen that by now is not analysing our games well.
I'd hate to see either of them dropped when Jack gets back but Arsene will prioritise his youngsters and Ramsey is a serious goal threat, that guy will start scoring a lot very soon.

Roland17:

I am utterly disappointed at this comment over Ramsey, without any offence, i am tempted to ask if u really watched the match? Ramsey gave the performance of his life in this match, it was his through pass to GEV that started the first goal for us, the early chances spurned by Gervinho and RVP were created by Ramsey, he created several chances with his new found lob pass, he was not guilty of loosing possession in vital areas like he is used to. he  showed composure with the ball and was always tracking back to defend.

I think your comment is bias, he did very well yesterday, he is a promising player.

I dey gbadun that lobbed pass, the boy wants to trade mark it. He is even hitting it with more consistency than Cesc nowadays.  grin grin
And yes, Ramsey is a very promising player, he had some fatigue issues earlier which seem to have cleared up with adequate rest.

Where the hell is Debo? undecided

Adebandoor had better perform for Tottnumb today or I'm looking at a loss in the FA cup, Viera has many players who will get performance bonuses.

And i say it again, Wenger aint ish. We're still in october last time i checked, get back to me when  Manchester starts to grab those from every angle.
Ask yourself this question, "if captain Robin Van Persie or/and Song go on a two month long, injury what happens to the team ?"

Nor dey talk like this Ed, like Richie said the media has succeeded in convincing everyone that this Arsenal squad is very poor when in fact it isnt. The Arsenal squad has been more about playing a system than about individual players. It is a system that takes some getting used to and requires certain types of players.

If Van Persie or Song get injured, it only provides the opportunity for another player to step up (remember that Arshavin and Bendtner have both played as main strikers in the 2 immediate past seasons with varying degrees of success) Our strength in depth improved last season in the MF positions and the defence and now it seems our strength in depth is also better upfront with older and more experienced players. What we did this season unlike before was to get reasonably adequate replacements for those we lost (Arteta for Cesc and Gervinho for Nasri) unlike in the past when we had to promote from within.

Both Song and RVP are important and we will wobble (like any other team that loses its top quality players) but make no mistake about it that it will only give another player the opportunity to step up. The overall squad depth has improved over last year's.
