Yes but still in pilot stage, Facebook plans to beam internet via satelite. let's just be hopeful ISP will not influence government to thwart them like they did in India Sugarhugs: |
Wow! I am excited and sure this is a pointer to great things to come as Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced on his page today that they're partnering with Airtel Africa to launch Internet.org Free Basics in Nigeria. See what he posted below: "Today we’re partnering with Airtel Africa to launch Internet.org Free Basics in Nigeria. There's a lot of innovation across Africa right now, and Nigeria in particular is home to a lot of talented developers. In 2009, Olalekan Elude, Ayodeji Adewunmi and Opeyemi Awoyemi started a site called Jobberman in their dorm to help connect people looking for work with companies looking to hire. Now Jobberman is one of the top 100 websites in Nigeria, and it gets 5,000 applications every day. Free Basics offers Nigerians, including 90 million people who are currently offline, the opportunity to access news, health information and services like Jobberman that were built by Nigerians and other developers across West Africa -- all without having to pay for data. Free Basics is now live in more than 40 countries, and half of those are in Africa. Over the next few months, we'll be doing even more to connect developers with people who can use their apps -- and partner with local companies to bring internet to people across Africa who don't have access to mobile networks. In the meantime, I'm excited to see what Nigerians build next!" - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/05/facebook-partners-airtel-to-launch.html#sthash.ne0BDU9L.dpuf |

Some people will still unknowingly stare at the sun o, it begins around mid-day and will last for 7 hour plus ricsman: |
What you need to Know as the incredibly rare celestial event which will see Mercury appear in front of our home star. This rare astronomical event which occurs just 13 times each century will pass in front on the sun tomorrow Monday May 9, 2016. But it's not one of those event you rush out to view, because anyone who stares at the sun as the tiny black spot makes its journey past the sun risk permanent damage to their eyesight. This relatively tiny planet will begin its journey past the sun at just after midday in most parts of the world. It will then be visible as a tiny black spot as it spends 7.5 hours "transiting" our parent star. According to NASA "Due to its diminutive size, viewing this event safely requires a telescope or high-powered binoculars fitted with solar filters made of specially-coated glass or Mylar." The transit of Mercury will be observable across the whole of Western Europe, South America, the eastern part of North America, West Africa, and the western region of North Africa. Mercury is the planet which is closest to the sun and is named after the famous "winged messenger" of Roman mythology. Oops! Google applies for patent for its new gadget to improve your vision and guess what they want to INJECT the damn gadgets into your eyes. Google’s patent filing for April 28 is for a gadget described as an “inter-ocular device”. Can't believe we are gradually edging towards having real cyborg eyes... This includes a sci-fi sounding electronic lens designed to be installed in a flexible polymeric material to fit inside the surface of an eye’s lens capsule by solidifying the fluid in the capsule. Please excuse us, as we’re getting a bit queasy. According to Google’s patent, forces exerted upon it by the lens capsule can control the electronic lens’ optical power. This looks like it will help with vision correcting, by assisting with the focusing of light onto an eye’s retina. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/05/google-wants-to-inject-gadgets-into.html#LLwEGxkDJPTwlKSM.97 |

OMG! Some people are damn so evil and heartless. Read the heart-wrenching story of a 17-year-old pregnant Nigerian sex-slave in Gauteng Province of South Africa. Ugo (Not real name), was taken to South-Africa aged 13, after the demise of her mother. She thought her dream had come true and hoped for a better life. But from the very day she walked through immigration at OR Tambo international airport her world began to gradully fall apart. The man she had always looked up to as her father turned her into a sex-slave. He did not only sexually harrass her alone, but invite his retarded friends to also have a go and they even made videos of the constant abuse of the teenage girl. The bubble burst, when she became pregnant and neighbours who had always been suspicious of the illicit affair and illegal activities reported to Police that they heard someone crying all night long. The case is already in court and the videos found on the step-father's laptop is being used as evidence to prosecute the crazy paedophile.. Excerpts from the interview with Ugo below: "I came to South Africa around February 2012 with my Daddy, after my mummy died while giving birth in Lagos. On the night of our arrival, Daddy bought fast food for us at KFC and when we got home he also gave me juice. when i woke up in the morning i found out i couldn't move my legs and there's a little blood stain in my private part. I also noticed Daddy was sleeping beside me naked. I touched my private part and felt a very sharp pain". APRIL FOOL ![]() tunderoc: |
Good Afternoon lovelies, So sorry for bringing today's edition of SATURDAY DIGEST a little behind schedule. Today the 'Cannibal of Oshodi' joins our growing list of World's Most Infamous Murders at number 9. Once upon a time in the city of Lagos, there lived a ruthless murderer who feigned madness to capture and gruesomely kill his victims under the bridge at Toyota Bus Stop along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway. His name is Clifford Orji but i refer to him as the 'CANNIBAL OF OSHODI.' Clifford's mode of operation is to act like someone who's mad and when it's late he hacked unsuspecting citizens who strayed into his dark corner under the bridge to death. He allegedly killed over 50 people in the late 90's. After hacking his victims to death, the Cannibal of Oshodi, will drag them into his shanty built with tires and scrap metals and there he will dis-member their bodies, roast them, eat some and allegedly sell human parts to ritualist who patronize him on a regular basis. Clifford was arrested by the Nigerian Police in February 1999, after a pregnant victim managed to escape from the serial murderer. Items found on him at the time of his arrest was a cheque for the sum of N88,000, a cell phone, women underwear and fresh and roast human flesh and bones. His arrest was widely celebrated and was a trending headline in most African media houses then. The Courts and Judiciary system in most African states known for prosecuting cases at a snail pace, resulted in the case not being followed diligently, though Clifford Orji was remanded in Prison at the time but no serious investigation or further arrest were made. After spending 13 years in prison without trial Mr. Orji died in his sleep on August 17, 2012. He was 46 years old when he died. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/saturday-digest-worlds-most-infamous-clifford-orji.html#sthash.dKA650zW.dpuf |
You will not believe this wallet found at the Talent Factory Theater in Iowa, U.S was from the year 1944. Renovation workers at the site were stunned when they found an object made of plastic underneath the theater. When they got it out, they knew that it's more than a child's wallet.. Further investigation, revealed the wallet contained a Boy Scout card, food rations for the second world war, and some old faded photographs. They were also able to see a name handwritten on a card, Clare McIntosh, and a very old phone number that is out of service. With the help of an expert, they were able to track down the owner. The man is now 85 and he is still healthy. Watch his reaction when he got hold of his wallet that was lost when he was 15. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/85-year-old-man-reunited-with-wallet-he.html#sthash.COJHYnln.dpuf

Sahara Reporters the 'Nigeria version of Wikileaks' has in a series of tweets released a fresh list of 121 children of the rich and top politicians hired by the Central Bank of Nigeria illegally. The fresh list comprises the names of the son of the Personal assistance to President Buhari and sons and daughters of top members of the ruling All Progressive Congress. The BIG question is, when will the children of ordinary Nigerians, who are more qualified and need this jobs ever land one? When they don't even advertise vacancy but give the jobs to the privilege through the back door. Naija which way? Is this the change we voted for?..... HORROR in Edo State, As a tenant identified as Jeff Obasohan, allegedly set his 83-year-old landlord, identified as Pa Joseph Iyen, ablaze on Uwa street in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State on Wednesday. The house located between second east circular road and third east circular road in Benin the state capital. It was gathered that there been a long dispute between the octogenarian and Obasohan over his unpaid rent and that the landlord had given the tenant a quit notice on two occasions. But the disagreement was said to have degenerated on Wednesday, leading to the tragedy. The elderly man was said to have died, following the severe burns he sustained from the fire. The incident also drew the attention of residents in the area who thronged the scene to sympathise with the victim’s family. The wife of the deceased, Mrs. Esther, alleged that the tenant had threatened her life and that of her late husband. She also said that the suspect had failed to pay his electricity bill. The widow said, “He does not pay his house rent; he does not pay the light bill. Since 2014, we said he should leave this house; I don’t want trouble. “He threatened to kill me or my husband. We took him to court. Then, my husband fell sick. Later, they said that the case had been struck out.” The daughter of the late man, Faith Eganbor, alleged that the tenant had been officially asked to leave the building in 2014 and 2015. Eganbor, who described his father as a “kind” man, called for a thorough investigation of the matter. “I need justice in my father’s matter. My father is a good man; he is kind to a fault. This is not the first time that this tenant has been asked to leave this house. “They gave him quit notice early this year; 2014, 2015. We came this morning to find out (that) our father is dead; burnt,” Eganbor said. The suspect was said to have been arrested by security operatives from the Esigie Police Division. When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Osifo Abiodun, told our correspondent on Thursday that the tenant had a protracted disagreement with the late landlord over unpaid rent before allegedly setting him ablaze. He also said that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation. “That is true. Yes, he (suspect) is in custody. The suspect has made a statement; the case has been transferred to the state CID,” Abiodun said on telephone. However, it was learnt that the remains of the late man was later taken to a mortuary by some security operatives. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/tenant-sets-octogenarian-landlord-on.html#sthash.heAB4dLF.dpuf |
A new twist in the case of jailed ruthless cartel boss Joaquin Guzman better known as El' Chapo who asked for his extradition to the U.S to be sped up earlier this month, accusing Mexican authorities of treating him inhumanely and turning him into a monster. It was revealed that one of the guns found at his hideout was sold to him by the US Government as part of a bungled operation to trace firearms used by criminals. According to the US Justice Department a .50-calibre rifle, powerful enough to bring down a helicopter, was bought during the failed "gun-walking" Fast and Furious operation. Starting in 2009 America’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (AFT) allowed illegal gun sales, believed to be destined for Mexican cartels, in order to track the sellers and purchasers. But during the two year programme an estimated 1,400 weapons were lost and never found again. The 58-year-old, who was on the run for six months after he escaped from a maximum security prison through a mile long tunnel under his cell. Following Guzman’s capture in January one of 19 firearms authorities recovered from his hideout was found to have been sold during Operation Fast and Furious causing huge embarrassment for US officials. Guzman is currently being held in the Altiplano prison from where he escaped last July. In a written response to Congress on Tuesday Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik confirmed the gun found at the Los Mochis residence Guzmán was sold by the programme. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/us-government-sold-el-chapo-high.html#sthash.Q4Cp4l9i.dpuf

That Nigerian-Canadian civil servant, Nellie Mayshak, spent years working for the government of Ontario. Not one accusation of stealing and corruption. Then she goes back home to work in Nigeria and steals from Nigerian pensioners humongous amounts of money that would have crippled the economy of Ontario had she stolen a fraction of such amounts while she was here. Let us forget the monumental disgrace she represents for Nigerians in the diaspora and Nigerians in Canada. Her case is instructive for only one reason. Come with me. Obviously, Nellie Mayshak was already a thief when working in Toronto. But. She. Did. Not. Steal. Question: why did she not steal in Canada? Answer: the fear of consequences and the absence of impunity. Canada did not work for her. Why continue to work honestly in Canada and watch your paycheck go up in smoke every month, eaten up by Federal and provincial taxes when you come originally from a society that has agreed to function on a paradigm of crime without punishment and impunity? For any Nigerian with criminal proclivities living and working in the Western world, that is the proposition that Nigeria constantly fixes in your consciousness: come back home and join our commonwealth of crime without punishment. Come back home and become an instant billionaire. Here, we do not ask questions about how you made your money. That Nellie did not steal in Ontario and went home to steal billions is another reason why we must rethink Nigeria radically. We cannot have a situation where you fear crime and consequence in Canada, America, and Britain and relocate to the Nigerian eldorado of crime and reward. That she has been suspended is a good start. Lets hope for a fair judicial process that will be pursued to its logical conclusion. However, prosecuting and jailing this Nigerian-Canadian idiot is not enough. And many of us think that the solution to our problem of lawlessness, impunity, and crime without punishment lies in visionary leadership and strong institutions. Those are significant planks of the solutions but they are hollow and ineffective without some form of social revolution and evolution which involves the forging of a collective attitude of hostility to the kind of society that we currently operate. Until her monumental stealing as a civil servant was exposed, Nellie, like Dino, FFK, and politicians of all parties, was obviously living above her means among you. You saw her cars and mansions. Yet, she probably had a front row seat in her church, with special access to the Pastor. Yet, you invited her to social functions and, if she arrived five hours late, you stopped proceedings to "recognize her presence". Yet, you nominated her for every manner of society award. Yet, she was on the high table at every event. Let Dasuki, Metuh, Oronsaye or any member of the 2015-2016 class of theft and corruption indictees appear at any social function in Nigeria today, you will stop proceedings to "recognize their presence." How can you run a jungle society like this and expect those with criminal proclivities among us in the Diaspora not to run home to steal from you and add to your problems? Where thieves feel valued and recognized in the context of societal mores and mentality, no level of leadership or institutional enhancement will work. We have to have a collective vision of the social good and develop attitudes of collective hostility to any citizen who does anything injurious to it. Such an attitude is the raw material that leadership and institutions could use. The day you develop the courage to stop recognizing the presence of known thieves in your public and social ceremonies, we would have started our long journey to civilization. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/ladies-gentlemen-please-rise-up-to.html#sthash.ffTRgBc0.dpuf

Ben Okri, 57, is a Nigerian poet and novelist. Okri is an accomplished writer and he's considered one of the foremost African authors in the post-modern and post-colonial traditions and has been compared favourably to authors such as Salman Rushdie and Gabriel García Márquez. Ben Okri 25 years after his Man Booker-winning novel was first published, the talented author reflects on what motivated the magic 'The Famished Road' with THE GUARDIAN. The Famished Road is fed by the dreams of literature. I devoured the world, through art, politics, literature, films and music, in order to find the elixir of its tone. Then it became a perpetual story into which flowed the great seas of African dreams, myths and fables of the world, known and unknown. I made up stories in the matrix of the ancestral mode. Many people read these stories and assume they belong to the oral tradition, but I had always believed that it is an artist’s function to enrich the oral tradition with stories of our own, inventions of our own, inspired by the tales we heard in the moonlight, sitting in a circle. But even in that the tone is the thing. But it was as a child that I began the book, with innocence and simplicity of heart. With the rich history of literature turning in my mind, I would disappear into the writing of the novel as into a dream. It was as if I sensed there was a book there, in the archetypal margins of the numinous world that existed already in the spirit realm; my task was to bring it here, as one lowering intact a perfect vision. The novel was written to give myself reasons to live. Often the wonder of living fades from us, obscured by a thousand things. I wanted to look at life afresh and anew and I sought a story that would give me the right vantage point. It is also meant to be a humorous book – from the perspective of the spirits, the deeds and furies of men are tinged with absurdity. Poverty compelled me to break off writing the novel in order to shape another, different book which would help keep me alive. This was a book of short stories and it forced compression on me. The stories my mother told me were elliptical and strange, and the philosophies of my father, steeped in the ancient African world that was older and stranger than the Greek myths, hovered above me in the little room where I wrote. There was a lake I walked round every day, in a ritual that magnetised my spirit. The novel was drawn from a half-glimpsed world, and it was fading fast from reality. In that sense the novel is a sort of elegy. Not the things we saw, but the things in between – the myths in between, the tone in between – were the key to its mysteries. Time, which decays everything else, gives literature a strange new life. As we diminish in time, works of literature grow. I hope that time has been kind to The Famished Road. Check out the edited extract of the introduction to the 25th anniversary edition of The Famished Road Extract.... - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/ben-okri-famished-road-was-written-to.html#sthash.6gWbWBCs.dpuf |

This is so inspiring and a must read for all the Nigerian youth. Don't rest on your oars, never let defeat or failure derail you. keep your eyes on the ultimate goal and sure you will get there someday. A letter dated 25 March 1943, written by one of the greatest minds that Africa has seen 'The great Awo' Chief Obafemi Awolowo to Chief Timothy Adetola, an industrialist requesting a loan of £1,400 has been making rounds on the internet. However, Odutola did not oblige him as a result of which Awolowo failed to make the trip that year as planned to study Law in England. Awo being a man that will never give up worked harder and sought alternatives and finally traveled on 14 August 1944 to the UK. He was called to the Bar in November 1946 and became Premier of Western Region in 1954. A copy of the letter and the events after Awolowo became Premier of the Western region and the super-rich industrialist whose businesses are on the verge of collapse now needs the help of the young leader to save his business below: THE LETTER Dear Mr. Odutola, I think it will be an exceeding saving of time and more business-like if I avoid all sweet preliminaries and go straight into the object of this letter and say that I am writing to ask you to be good enough to lend me a sum of £1,400 (One thousand and four hundred pounds) free of interest for twelve years. It is a staggering figure! More staggering indeed does it become, when it is realised that I, who am asking for this loan, have nothing in all the world to give as a security for this money, excepting my good faith and my brains which again are of value only so long as I continue to breathe the breath of life! Nevertheless, I here proceed to outline in brief why I want this big loan from you. And I hope you will be kind enough to sacrifice some time to go through what I have to say, even though , in the end you might find yourself unable to do me this grand favour. One great ambition of mine since my boyhood days is to be a lawyer, a politician and a journalist, rolled into one. I cherish politics and journalism as a career. ; and I desire advocacy as a means of livelihood. For you will agree with me that a politician or journalist who has no money with which to support himself and family comfortably ,is like a blade which has no razor. Now, at one time, I was on the verge of making enough money with which I could proceed to England in order to pursue the object of my ambition; but I suffered a twist in my fortune, and I crashed. Ever since, I have tried without success to recover lost grounds, financially. But spiritually and intellectually, I have made appreciable advance in spite of towering difficulties, all of which have now been surmounted. As you are aware, I have just passed the intermediate Bachelor of Commerce Examination. Next year, I am taking the final B.Com. Having a degree is not my goal; I hate to be a government or mercantile employee. Otherwise, there are opportunities for me here and there to get a suitable and well paid job under government or one of the mercantile houses. As you know, however, once I become an employee of government or a mercantile establishment that is the end to my career as a politician and journalist. I have therefore resolved that under no circumstances will I take up such employment. That is just by the way. I am now thirty-four years of age. After careful thought, I have come to the conclusion that if I could raise a loan free of interest sufficient to cover expenses , I should go to England , this year and within three years, I should qualify as a Barrister –at –law, and also obtain with Honours the LL.B Degree of London University. In addition this degree apart from giving me good backing as a solicitor and Advocate will help me immensely as a politician and journalist. But where on earth could i get the money? Who in Nigeria today could give £1400 free of interest to help his fellow-man? J.Henry Doherty, Esq., of illustrious memory who did the like to many successful Nigerians is no more. But after meticulous, shifting and weighing, I hit upon you. I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that out of the bounty with which providence blesses your grit and efforts as a businessman, you can well easily afford to advance such a sum of money. I have no doubt too that as a young and progressive man you will be quite happy to give the money for the pursuit of the project for which I desire it. But then, could you take this risk? That is the question. As I have said before, I have no security for this loan. Moreover, I want it free of interest. So that you stand to gain absolutely NOTHING in the whole transaction ,except the satisfaction that by helping me to achieve my ambition you are indirectly or even directly helping Nigeria or even Africa. This risk becomes greater when it is borne in mind that I might die in the course of my studies or immediately after , so that, since I have no security or surety, you stand the chance of losing not only the money but also the satisfaction which you may cherish that you are contributing to the uplift of Africa. It is indeed a great risk; the greatest any man ever embarks upon. But, this is a big BUT, if I live, as I have no doubt I will do, you will not only get your money back in full, but you will , to the end of your days , have cause to rejoice that you have done one of the most outstanding and most philanthropic acts any human being ever does. Among other things, I shall make excellent use of the money while in England by breaking records in my examination. On my return to Nigeria, I shall strive to be one of the foremost advocates, politicians and writers in West Africa, and while I do all these, I shall make it a point not only to pay your money back in full, but also to repay your kindness and generosity towards me in every way I can. All the same, it is a big risk! So , Sir, I like you to think seriously about it, and see if you can take it in the interest of a young man who has brains ,industry and determination to back his ambition , but lacks the money. I know we have never been close friends, but I have a shrewd idea that you may take the risk and help me. On this assumption, therefore, I proceed to the next and last stage of this letter. I shall not require the whole £1,400 in a lump sum. To start with, you will help me pay a sum of £208-13s-3d to the Inner Temple. I have already received an application form from this Inn of Court; and from the details forwarded, I gather that the sum of £208-13s-3d will cover all the cost of training as a Barrister, examination fees excluded. When I am ready to sail, you will advance me a sum of £100 to cover passage, provision for my family and any other incidental expenses( NOTE: If i got torpedoed on the way, you would certainly lose this £100 but you will recover the £208-13s-3d). At the same time you will remit to a London Bank the sum of £491-6s-9d. It is out of this amount that I shall pay the university fees for LL.B course a, and for special courses in political science and journalism, when I land in England. This is to say, the initial advance will total £800. At the end of the first year, provided I make satisfactory progress in my studies, you will give instruction to the bank to honour all cheques from me drawn on this account. There will be an arrangement to be signed by me on my return. On my return, I shall require TWO years within which to establish a solid practice and build a good reputation. After these two years, I should commence to pay at least £200 per annum either in monthly, quarterly or annual payments. So that in seven years after the first two years, I should pay back the whole sum of £1,400. That will be TWELVE YEARS from the time you help me to pay this in April or so this year, then I should be due to pay the whole of £1400 by April 1955. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/be-inspired-power-of-passion-so-awolowo.html#sthash.gfUuGwcM.dpuf

Quotes of the day: "Nigeria supports the aspiration of Palestine towards self determination" - Buhari. "Nigeria supports the bid of the Western Sahara towards self determination" - Buhari. "Nigeria will not tolerate Biafra" - Buhari. "A serious Government will fix the power problem in six months". - Babatunde Fashola (2014) "The countless man hours that will be spent at the petrol station today, will reduce our productivity as a nation. This should not be so" - Muhammadu Buhari (2014) So yesterday our Senators decided kick against the gender equality bill? Are you expecting anything different from a senate where 'a debate about marrying made in naija women is promoted', A senate where a bill for consensual sex at age 13 is passed and where an influential senator got married to a 13-year-old? I guess your answer is a capital NO. You can only hear the reason why the bill could not pass second reading in a country like Nigeria, where common sense is not common, 'It's against our culture, it's against our religion.' So this bunch of charlatans are telling us that our women are only good for the bedroom and kitchen ehn?.. And now about the quotes: How tactless can a government be or how do we describe this, Before you toothless wailers start attacking me, i will love to state that i am not in anyway supporting Biafra, but will love to point out to you and ask if you have seen David Cameron of Britain support the Catalan bid for self determination from Spain, or Venice from Italy? Because he knows that will feed the Scottish separatists with ammunition for their aim. Where have you seen Mariano Rajoy of Spain support the Scottish bid for self determination? He doesn't, because he knows he is facing the Catalonia separatist movement in his own country. Sometimes, silence is more wisdom than opening one's buccal cavity because one always has to be heard. You cannot have your citizens being shot with live munitions for daring to ask self determination yet you as the leader goes live on television to support a foreign agitator for self determination. I hope those handling President Buhari's stuffs will read this sha. Oga BRF, Are you telling us now that your government is not serious ehn. If you forget, note the internet don't forget. Thanks to social media. Nigerians are now very much alive to make up for all the deficiencies. - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/musing-trending-issues-in-nigeria.html#sthash.rtX2YAgj.dpuf

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life-think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success." Swami Vivekananda It's Monday again and another day to hit the ground running and YES make some bucks and be someone's SUCCESS story...But are you really ready to be successful? Success they say don't come easy, it comes only with hardwork and perseverance right? Well my own approach maybe a little different but similar..i believe to become successful you will have to be dedicated, work extra smart, go all out and meet people that count and don't generalize when talking about your potentials. "If you want to be rich and successful, you can't but into a story of poverty. Even though your circumstances may seem unfavorable at the moment, it doesn't mean that it will last forever. Think out of the box." Here are my 5 major steps for achieving success: 1. Be yourself. Don't make the mistake that because you're under-achieving at the moment, you then forget where you're coming from and your set goals to become XYZ who seem to be making it BIG now. Oftentimes, being too hard on yourself is the quickest way to burn out and lose hair. 2. Don't dwell on your past failure. Everyone has a life story that tells them apart from other people. Yes! your story may be of many ups and down. It's good to reflect on your broke story but never dwell on it in order to seek acceptance from other broke people. remember you're different, focus on whom you're becoming. You might not know exactly whom you'll end up as (who does?), but you can focus on telling yourself and others about who you want to become. Change your life story. 3. Study Your Desires This is the point i liked most. On a daily basis, many people indulge in copious amounts of negativity. If you tend to notice, talk about, and identify with war, crime, disease, financial problems, misfortune, or disharmony, this is what you are inviting into your life. If you study miscellaneous things, you will get miscellaneous results. What do you normally study? Many times, it's hard to realize the subtle influence that we are exposed to. However, if you want true wealth, you must identify with the state of mind that you would most likely want to associate with. In other words, focus on what you want, not what you don't want. Why dwell on financial despair when you could scheme up new ways to get the Rolls Royce you may want? 4. Forget Haters Either good or bad! People will always talk about you and hate on you. forget about the haters, because dwelling so much on that guy that hates your face will make you oblivious to real people who are trying to help. Note that, dwelling on other people’s opinions will forever prohibit you from living your life. Instead of focusing on who you don't want in your life, focus on who you do want in your life. Don't worry about what 'they' think, but take unprecedented action toward your goal. Always search for people who can help you realize your highest goals. 5. Be the Best This is where your talents, skills, and abilities speaks for you. Like i stated earlier to achieve great success you need to WORK EXTRA SMART not EXTRA HARD (Using your sixth senses) as everyday passing day present you a chance to reach your peak performance. For a lot of us we are only using a fraction of our potentials since it's not demanded in our careers. However, you have to seek a profession that allows you to become the best at what you do and try to attend professional courses, where you will meet like minds and spend money on motivational books, CDs and seminars. When it comes to performing at the highest level, you must make sure that you're focused on serving other people, not just doing it as a means to obtain money. Do have a blissful day out there and join us Monday March 28 for the next MONDAY MOTIVATIONAL TOPIC and our first WEBINAR in the first week of APRIL. At least 12 people have been declared dead, after gunmen stormed a popular Ivory Coast beach resort earlier today. Four of the victims were Europeans, according to Reuters, which cited police source. The gunfire reportedly occurred near a hotel in Grand-Bassam and several people were wounded, diplomatic sources told Reuters. The attackers, who were "heavily armed and wearing balaclavas, fired at guests at the L'Etoile du Sud, a large hotel which was full of expats in the current heatwave," a witness told AFP. "I saw seven dead that I filmed. There were four attackers. I was swimming when it started and I ran away," said Dramane Kima, who showed video of the carnage to Reuters. He also took pictures of grenades and ammunition clips he believed were left behind by the gunmen. A receptionist at the L'Etoile du Sud hotel said the attacks happened on the beach. "We don't know where they came from, and we don't know where they've gone," he said of the gunmen. Security forces claimed to have neutralize six armed men after the attacks on three hotels. "We don't know yet if there are others," an officer told security forces during a briefing also attended by a Reuters reporter. "We are doing clean-up operations right now." - See more at: http://www.duketundesblog.com/2016/03/terrorism-gunmen-kills-12-at-ivory.html#sthash.HiIYAJD7.dpuf
