einsteino: It would be Nigerians.. Inshort africans. Would love to see what paradise the whites would make of this country if it were theirsU wouldn't be alive to see it st.upid! |
MissMeiya: Bullshit of the highest order.Lol u think? |
MissMeiya: Religion. As dangerous as people think religion is, society would actually be in chaos without it. Without religion there would be no morality. Morals are the basis of the laws we live by. The whole world would be in chaos |
Rockstrong: Dont believe everything u see on CNN or these big mediaThis is the most ridiculous video i've ever seen! I was actually chopping the bullshit till the part with the same woman supossedly acting as 4 different people including barbara starr. Its just ridiculous. Plenty of people on youtube with plenty of time on their hands |
Has to be corruption. Without corruption we would have stable power, good roads, security, boko haram would be no more, tribalism and nepotism would disappear. Everything will just fall into place |
So who do i believe? Nigerian journalists who never travel to violent hotspots but rather quote foreign media outlets and useless Nigrrian military spokespeople even when its Nigerian news, or foreign media outlets that have painstakenly interviewed refugees from these hotspots and have reporters on the scene? But for foreign media outlets, Nobody in Nigeria, not even our local media outlets would have known about the chibok incident. For Premium times to be quoting Nigerian military authorities that have a history of dishing out falsehood, and presenting such quote as the truth is a disgrace to journalism. |
aguiyi: hahahahahaha. he never said they have taken over any part of the country and hoisted flag except you want to show me a link .I give up, no point arguing with an unreasonable and clueless person ![]() |
benbuks: Africa now waking up from it century slumber ,Nice one |
aguiyi: we dont have journalists in Nigeria but paid propagandists and yes , boko haram would have flaunted the flag if they had hoisted it.Ehn that we don't have journalists in Nigeria does not mean Boko haram didnt take over Gworza. Are you the one that picks the videos that Boko haram wants to show us? Refugees have said they hoisted flags, international journalists have said they've hoisted flags. One of the reasons Jonathan even gave for declaring the state of emergency in the North during his televised broadcast, if you remember, was that Terrorists had taken over some parts of the country and hoisted flags. So what's now your problem? |
aguiyi: so how did they get the pics and video of gaza, isis war in irag and even those that happened in yemen and afghan . what of the one that happened in syria, lebanon and even kenya .I dont even understand the point yoi're trying to make. Is it that we don't have journalists brave enough to go there and snap pictures or that Boko haram is being stingy with the video of them hoisting flags? Please explain your point. If you don't believe boko haram has captured Gworza then please do us all a favoir and go there yourself and verify ![]() |
Blaqsmith: Fayose is a changed man...the past is bygone.Lol is this a joke? ![]() |
PrettySleek: they dont stand close to each other because they dont want to have the virus but they all squeeze themselves just to sit down. Hmmmmmm whats the difference?Abi. Everyone wants to be basketmouth these days ![]() |
OP is sufferimg from MUMUsitis. Who on earth would want to go to an insurgent held town to snap pictures? We get reports of happenings in Gworza and Damboa from refugees that fled these places, nobody can actually verify these reports but once one refugee corroborates anothers story then it can be considered true. All the major international news outlets have quoted the same reports of flags being hoisted because they've interviewed refugees from Gworza. OP think before opening threads and stop wasting nairaland space ![]() |
bigfrancis21: When I stumbled across the article, the title read '50 influential...' but went on to list only 20 people. When I opened this thread I initially wrote '50' but seeing only 20 names listed on the original article, I edited this thread's title to '20' only to find out later that the page was just part 1 and there was a part 2 with 30 more names that completed the list. I re-edited the title back to '50' but before I could finish quoting the article here, the thread was immediately hijacked by Hiipower in spurts of bursting frenzy. From your previous antecedents, we can infer that you deliberately selected this topic and that website not for informative purposes but for tribalistic ones. People like you should be rounded up and shot dead for poisoning peoples minds and always causing controversy and discord |
niggereyez: Guy... u shld learn to appreciate pipo..Nice looking puppy ![]() |
hotmolo: These are attributes of a first class grade AAA mugu/maga u should have included "dropping her off at her ex boyfriends house and coming back to pick her"Buahahahahah! ![]() |
inositol88: is it de guy who;Whoever does any of these is a mumu |
This thread would have made sense if the OP didn't deliberately introduce tribalism in his selection. Very shameful. |
aguiyi: this is Thailand and UK 2013. flooding hits anywhere prone to flood when it rains heavily.what level of response put in place to avoid collateral damage is what makes the difference. The difference between these other societies and our own society is that there is accountability. Whoever or whatever is responsible for such floodingis held responsible and even persecuted for reckless negligence. In Nigeria, nobody is held accountable because whoever is in charge will scream political witch hunting or tribal witch hunting. There is no accountability and that is the disaster. And instead of people like you that make usemof these airports to demand for change and that people that are in charge should be held accountable, you're here speaking in their defence. |
Boko Haram militants yesterday seized control of a town in Yobe State, according to a displaced resident who talked to a SaharaReporters correspondent . A security source confirmed the development. The sources disclosed that the insurgents stormed the town of Buni Yadi, arriving in a convoy of numerous sports utility vehicles and armed with sophisticated weapons. “They killed scores of villagers,” said the resident of the town, adding that he was lucky to escape. Buni Yadi, the latest town in the violence-plagued northeast area of Nigeria to fall to the Islamists, is located approximately 34 miles from Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State. Hamza Umar, a resident of the besieged town, told our reporter that heavily-armed Boko Haram insurgents stormed the town on Wednesday and opened fire on anyone within their sight. “There are no inhabitants left in Buni Yadi now,” said Mr. Umar. “Everyone who was lucky to escape the onslaught has moved to Damaturu,” said the source in Hausa. Neither Mr. Umar nor the security source who confirmed the attack could state the number of people killed by the attackers in yesterday’sinvasion of Buni Yadi. “All I know is that many were killed and wounded,” said Mr. Umar http://saharareporters.com/2014/08/21/boko-haram-insurgents-seize-town-yobe-state

Itoroetti: fashola-tolling of federal roadsDeep down inside in your heart you know this is bullshit but you just want your comment to cause controversy |
komek: The reason is because the nature of the country has made it so. Every Nigerian including u and ur parents have one corruption charges or the other because the society in which we found ourselfs made it so. If this same Onyebuchi serves the govt for 35yrs and comes back without a roof over his head, same u (a sub system of the society) will ask what did he do for the past 35yrs. I am not supporting the evil of corruption, rather I am trying to ansa ur question.I agree with you. We're all corrupt in this country. A den of thieves cannot elect a saint as its leader. Nigeria is a den of thieves and jonathan is no saint. |
