Their excuse was that they thought it was a BH camp even in broad daylight.

Now, I know fighter pilots and bombers can only engage a target after authorization is gotten from the base or mission commander who will first validate the target and assess if it is worth dropping expensive ordinance on it..For the pilot to have bombed the UN camp it means the Nigerian army lacks situational awareness and proper intelligence gathering.

I had to bring this up because the NAF pilots have no way of authenticating targets without confirming from base command. How then will they be expected to carry out sorties on an overran base in darkness?

None of the operational aircrafts in the Nigerian Air Force fleet are equipped with radar and night vision instrumentation. The fact that they are claiming that the sorties were launched around 7pm makes me doubt this version. Hmm, I take it you have never been arrested. Cos I have seen police arrest a group of boys just closing from evening service. Everyone around the boys where shouting to the police men that the boys were just coming out of the church. They were even telling the police to go confirm from the pastors, but the police men refused and took them to the station and asked for bail of #20,000 each. It was after a visit from about 8 lawyers from that were members of the church did they release the boys without a dime. And the police men that arrested them were nowhere to be found to answer if they investigated the shout of over 20 members who said the boys where just coming from the church.

I can tell you that EFCC did not investigate their documents. First of all, such investigation will take more than 24 hrs, but less than 24 hrs efcc released a press statement. Secondly, EFCC even acknowledged that the people told them of their affiliation with union bank and that was still under investigation.

EFCC should not have held a press conference this early into the investigation.

I’m not surprised at what you wrote because it was skewed and twisted by the EFCC. However, even if we want to agree that the Cash in transit was an illegal operation, the manner at which the EFCC had gone about with it is also illegal, premature and stupid. Have they actually conveyed proper investigation? Have they found any valuable details they would require charging the case to court? What was the need to rush to the media and also the social media statement?

Can we see how useless the EFCC is and why they keep losing cases in court. Let us remind ourselves that the conviction rate under Magu is still ZERO
