Good Morning guys, please what's the cause of this yellow spot on the Malabar Spinach Leaf.

I understand this, there is a cause to worry. My Neighbour's son was kicked out with others because their name did not appear on JAMB CAPS although his name appeared on the school's portal. Hes said it is called Fake Admission. This is happened in DELSU political science. Most state schools have this issues.

All these schools have problem, how can they toy with someone's admission just because of acceptance and school fees.

What do u advice for me my pipuru. So fortunately/unfortunately for me I switched to medicine from med lab but the pain is that The school is unilag. Though my score ain't that bad. I was promised that I can't change my course again. So what do I do now. Go with the follow or Bear the course they give me if i did not reach tge cut off for Unilag medicine. By the way has anyone here being admitted to study medicine in unilag here?

The cutoff for medicine last year was I think 81 or so. I think they use O'level too, I am not sure but make your findings probably you will need to change institution.

It was during Waec in 2010,,I recklessly refused to collect timetable ,one day we wrote a particular paper .
After the paper I asked a classmate the date for the next paper ,he said next 3 days ,so I went home .
Next day I slept throughout the day .As Lucifer would have it my visafone was switched off . Evening came I was out strolling innat my hood,,was happily gisting with a friend when I saw one of my classmates breezing past fully clad in school uniform ,,,,she saw me and was like " What happened? Why did u miss the paper today?"
I playfully asked "which paper? Did u guys had exams today ?" She said " yes we wrote English ".
I smiled to the shock of everyone around and was like no yawa nothing de sup (marlians character)..

It was later,,I started replaying the whole scenario in my head,,a kind of cold I have never experienced gripped me ,but I still went ahead to write the next papers ,,come see where full school de ask wetin happen ,wetin happen ,y u miss English ,y ur phone off..
I still wrote the rest papers against the advice of my peers,,funny enough I collected that result four years later and it was a write off...
Thank God iam now in Final year in my state University and would have graduated if not for egbon Covid ,,, funny enough till date I still don't collect exam timetable before exams but still find myself asking coursemates "when be next paper"

I remember another one now. After doing FBA exam in 100 level. I was praying for B. If I have B I would be happy ehn. Then after exam why we were talking number one question Venn diagram simple thing 15 marks. People were getting different answers. I just thought well this ones are olodo jhare. Cos the answer they got was what I got before but I just felt that can't be the answer before doing it another way to get an answer I was satisfied with. Not until a very brilliant guy got the answer every one was getting. I just wan die. Who send me I should I've just left it the first time I got it now. I was now praying fervently for C. But I wouldn't be surprised if I got a D cos it was a whole 15 marks. Guess what I scored when results came out? 83 perfect A. I just couldn't believe it till I saw it in my student portal. I still go to check it some times till now cos it gives me joy. I mean when I was doing Accounting in this same school the whole of 5 years. I never had A before I was withdrawn. Now just in my first year in Business Admin. I've got an A not one, two cos I got A in one cos I didn't even read for once just studied past question on exam day. The 4 semesters have completed now. I've gotten at least an A in each semester. So I've gotten at least 5 As. Though at this level my result is even worse than when I was in this level in Accounting. But I'm not going to be withdrawn this time. By God's grace I'm even going to make a 2.1 come graduation.

Like Orezy5 said, all fully accredited schools are best for medicine. Just get admitted and develop yourself as a medical student.

I heard Change of course/institution is out but it can only be done in a CBT centre not a café. How true is this? Has anyone gone to a CBT centre for confirmation?

I don't know if it's true because even Jamb is saying that change of institution has been suspended because of the pandemic but there are people who claimed to have changed theirs in the past weeks. I am hoping Jamb starts it this week.

As a young boy, I dreamt of being a doctor and I nursed that dream for many years even till my university days but due to JAMB factor, I later studied biochemistry. After schooling, I got a job with a refinery where I was trained as a process operator (JOB meant for engineers) which made me fall in love with chemical engineering. If there is opportunity to study chemical engineering again, can i go for it even at 37?
I don't fill fulfilled without the an engineering certificate. What should I do?

And besides someone created a support ticket and messaged jamb recently, the response of jamb is that the service is unavailable for now and will be open soon

I sent a complaint too.

For your info jamb change of institutions are already ongoing login to your jamb portal and click '2020 registration' you will see different options

You will see it but I am not sure you are able to change.

I'm telling you. And another issue is that once has been changed it will take some time before it will reflect on the institution portal.

But I believe those schools will extend the deadline

I am not sure about the extension but I pray it starts latest next week.

I tire oo, most of the forms released will close like 2nd week of July.

Has change of institution for Jamb started. Some form of schools have been released and they will close in few weeks time.

You can do it but isn't that the same as second choice. Most schools don't consider second choice candidates.

But you can't induct more than your quota. Even if they induct it can be more than a difference of 5.
Imagine UNN inducting 200 or UNIYO inducting 100. I doubt this. As time progresses quota will increase but with time. Nigeria has a huge deficit to fill for Doctors. Thinking they should admit more to cover this deficit but our Teaching hospitals are are a shame.

Quite a shame we lack so much facilities. Even Microscope na wahala . Infact medical students in Nigeria Federal schools are trying because they don't pay as much as their state counterparts. Struggling with wicked lecturers.
What they train medical students has a deficit in practicals.

You are correct, most of our medical schools ain't as standard as before or maybe they were not standard. We need more budget into schools and they should be to monitored to utilize it well.

Some schools graduate more than their quota, there is a way they do it. They do the induction in batches, I think two batches.

The quota is 110 though but that's still much.
