ketchupBoy: Stupidity is when you forget which country you come from and think you are in Europe where they just let you go like that, Stupidity is not realizing that the SS got derivation, NDDC and Ministry of Niger Delya
Ignorance is failure to realize the Importance of History and Patience and trying to run a Marathon like a Sprint ( i see you south east)
Helplessness is when the SS since the war has gotten a region, gotten more states, gotten derivation, gotten non oil dichotomy, given access to offshore bases, gotten a ministry, has had a president, while South east has gotten Nothing. Per the bolded, this is homely applied to those who shout south-south today and forgot who fought for it. I had rather get to my house empty-stomached than filled up belly and die on the road. |

Truckpusher: Well, going to war when you've got no factories to build your own ammunitions while relying on international pity is simply suicidal, myopic and ill conceived and I'm sure you've read that piece of poetry with the title " she stoops to conquer" Nelson Mandela would have sealed the fate of a lot of South Africans if had embarked on a mission of perosnal vendetta after he was released from prison. You can comment without the insults - let's have a healthy discussion , we can disagree but we don't have to curse - We are not in a park here where agberos curse each other. Thanks. For umpteenth times, Biafra did not declare war or wanted to go war with anybody. Biafrans were simply what is all about human instinct which is self preservation. Eastern region cannot simply capitulated when the people of the region have been massacred and yet illegal government of Nigeria led by bunch of nonentities whose people have just committed atrocity against easterners divide their region into states. When the people said we preferred to remain with regional status, war was declared on them. It is very shameful that most Nigerians tend to stand history on its head. |

Truckpusher: Honestly, the autonomous nature of the Igbo man did not give him room for unnecessary patience and diplomacy . But one has to weigh his options carefully before taking a calculated risk which is what the Igbo man lacks in abundance but let's be fair here - There is a conspiracy to keep the igbo man down and this is bad and totally unacceptable . Sometimes I understand their plight and frustration because how can a people so vibrant be held down by some crazed zombies that has total disregard for nationalism and self development but wanting to drag the Niger delta into their problems is a no no situation even as we find ourselves in the same boat. We are children of circumstances and it would be unfortunate to for us to take any calculated risk that will backfire. At least not now.
If I were Ojukwu I wouldn't go to war but I'll build a regional economic powerhouse because once you win the economic war then the military confrontation will become a walk in the park.
Why is North Korea not attacking South Korea on a full scale invasion ? Because the big boys interests are in the South. Win the economic war and watch the North come to the negotiating table. Per the bolded, it is no longer in doubt how shallow you are intellectually. Do you mean that Ojukwu should build regional economic powerhouse on a region Gowon has already divided into states? The breakages of the regions into states were the pure declaration of war on eastern region of Nigeria by illegal Nigerian government led by Gowon. |

I met an ibibio man who hushed me to shut up wen i tried to cut his region out from biafra. He told me that ibibios are cousins with the igbos n that the word first son in igbo is same with how they say it in his own ibibio dialect. He said our generation were not taught any history in skol.
There's a full Igala community living in Anambra state as we speak. U can use Google n confirm, they are called "Anam people" They are not mainly living in Anambra State, they are Anambrians. |

Eddygourdo: you have mentioned the solution to the igbo problem and also highlighted why violence should be far from igbo minds, we have everything to lose and they have little to lose in event if a war. Or break down of peace and order. These is one reason I want Ndiigbo out of Nigeria and support the IPOB and MAASOB since Nigerian educational system is nothing to write home about though. Per the bolded, who are "we"? Please it is wise to maintain some form of clarity. You find it at home to write Igbo and Igbo people and very hard and shameful to mention or write your dull ethnicity in the same context. |

I hardly hear Niger Delta people saying that. Ndiigbo are not interested in your crude oil or lack thereof. Ndiigbo want their freedom and do not want compatriots who have animalistic intellect. In fact, it should be the good reason Biafra should be let go because they do not produce crude oil. Per the bolded, I do know who are Niger Delta people in Nigeria. kayo80: Blah Blah! We are talking about where the majority of the oil exported comes from, not the minute amount that comes from Imo and Abia. I can as well say the Hausa's are using my oil from Ondo state to better their lives. I am 100% behind the fight of the Niger Delta people for how unfairly they are treated because by the government even though their land gives us majority of our exporting commodity, and they suffer on top of that from oil spillage...But Igbo people should please come up with a better argument. Must a country be endowed with crude oil in order to progress. I had rather have Biafra patterned toward Japan without a grain of crude oil than to moronic Nigeria with tons of barrels of crude oil. It is silly to inject the down fall of Nigeria, which is crude oil, into academic debate. Anybody who does that is an irredeemable dunce. |

kayo80: First of all, Igbo people don't produce the Oil that runs the nation, you guys need to stop saying that. South south people produce the oil...And they sure don't speak the Igbo language, so how would they go with you guys? Secondly, Yoruba people also have to score higher in cutoff point just as igbo children...And this is because the northern children are a bit behind when it comes to general educational level. One of the reasons is that Biafrans do not want to associate with people who claimed to produce crude oil. As you have allegedly posited, Igbo people produce palm oil and it is enough for us. Crude Oil has destroyed Nigeria forever. |

dinachi: It will be horrible economically for our people IF they go on to become Biafra. It will be an economic hell. With most importers being of Igbo origin, they are gonna have to depend on Lagos and Port Harcourt Ports to get anything in. And that is where Nigeria is going to make a killing on import duties and rates. The customs are also going to make a killing on goods heading to Biafra. We will be forced to import foods like, yams, beans, onions, tomatoes, carrots even beef from the north. It is not like I expect the Biafran zombies here to understand, they will never do because anything short of their beloved biafra is not acceptable even if the Biafra is hell in its self!
As for the IPOB clowns, they will never understand the damage they did to businesses of Igbo men and women with their senseless and violent protests. Blocking the Niger bridge for the length of time they did cost Igbo men and women billions in profits.
But this post is not for the zombies, it is only for the Igbo men and women. who still thinks and has balanced reasoning. Zombies can do only what they know how to do best, rant and rave. One of the best growing economies on the African continent is Botswana yet it is landlocked. I cannot remember when Switzerland had coastal plains at Atlantic or Pacific Ocean shoreline yet Switzerland is major economy in the world. I hate uneducated Nigerians come to NL to proffer silly reasons on the down fall of imaginary Biafra. Until we get to the bridge, there must be a way to cross it. |

kayo80: This may sound like a dumb question, but I really want to know; why exactly do igbo people want to break away from Nigeria?
I am asking this because the current agitator for Biafra, Nnandi Kanu, in most of his interviews is always saying that the North can't keep on enjoying their oil. And this makes me think...Is the oil for the South Easterners or for the South South people? I have asked a lot of my friends from the south south (both online and offline) and none of them is interested in leaving Nigeria and being a part of a predominantly igbo speaking Biafra.
Another reason Nnadi Kanu always gives is that Hausa/Fulani are killing Igbo people. I don't know how true that is. All I know is Boko Haram, a terror group in Northern part of Nigeria has been killing NIGERIANS of all tribes and religions.
My argument is...since Igbo people always say they are the most hardworking people in Nigeria (I think this is somewhat true, as I sold CDs and DVDs for about 8 years at a point, and the hustling spirit of igbo people in Alaba always marveled me), then why do they clamor so much for position in the government of the zoo? We all know that even if Fashola becomes the president tomorrow, it won't automatically better my life as a Yoruba man. Most politicians care solely about themselves. So, why can't Igbo people stay with Nigeria, and make their millions from all part of Nigeria as they have always done? If they break free, will they also leave all the parts of the Zoo they have their businesses in? Nigeria cannot manage a gutter!!! |

The zeal to have one’s own nation is not motivated by tarred roads, ill-motivated industries, composite bridges and fancy airport or seaports but an ideologue that will cement the solemn endeavor of the people with the same culture and language in pursuit of unity. Why are you guyz such pathological liars? Is it genetic or a mass psychological condition ? Few of the statistics you posted to support your arguments are hilarious.
