The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the party is aware of the hardship Nigerians are passing through over the current fuel scarcity.

The party on Wednesday made this statement following the ongoing fuel scarcity, saying the situation is being addressed.

“Let’s be a little more patient with the new cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari. Most importantly, be assured that this government will surely deliver!

“Nothing good comes cheap. Sacrifices are required. By the time we pass through the foundation stage, Nigerians will see a new Nigeria!

Who are those fools saying biafrans would starve to death because northerners produce all the food..I hope you see even Nigerians don't have food. The strongest cash crop now is cassava from the east as beans from the north has been banned by most countries

If there's no food why did Buhari stop fertilizer distribution to the east

Honestly speaking, Nigeria cannot survive a week of total blockade as Biafra survived such man’s inhumanity against fellow men for almost three years. How could Nigeria, the so-called giant of Africa, expect handout from certain nations in the form of 44 ships in order to fight off fuel and food scarcity created by the dumbass leaders such as Daura Dumbass a.k.a Muhammadu Buhari? I guess the call for independent Biafra or Republic of Igbo land should be place in the after burner. Nigeria is a celebrated dead end.

?

We all know that the struggle for biafra is all about control of the oil, land and sea of the SS minorities in Nigeria who aren't igbos. The game of the igbos is to wrestle it from the reach of Nigerians and have it to themselves alone in a country where they can muzzle the minorities with their population.

They claim they will have a constitution which allows for 100% resource control. So funny grin. A constitution that can be erased at the drop of a hat just as they stopped Nigeria's flourishing regionalism through a bloody coup.

If they so much love the SS by promising them 100% resource control, why not love them enough to let them be or have their own country without being with the ibos in a biafra which will seem like a mini-Nigeria where they won't have another majority tribe to run to should the igbos oppressed too much.

The new mantra of the igbos is 'give us referendum like it was given to the scots'. One would think they want the referendum to hold only in SE igbo land.

We all saw how they used buses to export igbos from SouthEast to South South cities like yenegoa, PH, asaba etc to protest, making it look like it was the SS minorities that were protesting in support of biafra.

Now, they want UN to hold a referendum in SE and SS. Their game plan is to export their sons and daughters from not only SouthEast, but also the North and SouthWest straight to the South South cities to vote for biafra the same way they exported them during their protests. This will give the impression that the SS wants biafra cos we all know the huge population of igbos outside igbo land. That is what I call being clever by half.

If the FG must allow igbos go, no inch of SS land should be forfeited to them. Prevent them from having SS minorities, then watch the agitation fizzle out.

You are basement dunces. I wonder if you can really take care of your silly self. I had rather have Republic of Igbo land than Biafra. Per the bolded, one wonders how life has changed into affluence for the so-called south-south since the northerners and few Yari.ba had the control of crude oil, land and sea of the minorities. It is a piece of display noted for inherent idiocy by anybody, especially from the s-called south-south who are bedridden in poverty and had to indulge in illegal distillation of petroleum to eke out one spot of daily meal, to utter such nonsense. I had rather die than have such a drooling bastard as compatriot. You are good reason among numerous reason the pitch for self-determination and realization of Biafra has gone through roof of cesspit called Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Sultan Finally Speaks On Biafra Agitation. by Duru1(m): 11:55pm On Nov 24, 2015
stickncarrot:
Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the sultan of Sokoto has expressed worry over the growing agitation for an independent Biafra state championed by some Igbo people and promised that a delegation from the northern traditional council will be sent to Igbo leaders to meet on the issue.

The reports informs that the sultan raised this concern at the second general assembly of the Northern Traditional Rulers’ Council which held in Kaduna on Monday, November 23.

The Sultan who is the chairman of the council noted that there were millions of Igbo people living and doing business in their states peacefully and helping the economy to grow. He said millions of Igbo people were against the agitation for an independent state and that a delegation would be sent so that peace would reign.

“We are very much concerned about this issue because we know we have millions of millions of Igbos residing with us in our homes, in our towns, in our states, very peacefully, very industrious, helping our communities and our economy to grow and so many of them as we know, keep telling us that they have nowhere else to live than where they are presently living.

“Since we have this coordination with millions and millions of them, what is happening now is a thing of concern to us and we believe we should look at this issue and most likely set up a small committee of senior traditional rulers to go to South-East and engage our brothers there (traditional rulers) so that we will know how we can come in to stop this agitation.”

He applauded Igbo leaders who were against the separation and that the agitation must be totally condemned.

He said: “We believe in dialogue, whatever the problem is with anybody, we believe we should sit down and discuss and a solution will be found.”

Meanwhile, Chief Bode George, a former deputy national chairman of the People’s Democratic Party has warned that it will be disastrous for Nigeria to experience another civil war noting that no country had ever survived two civil wars.

http://watchdognews.net/sultan-finally-speaks-on-biafra-agitation/
Per the bolded, someone should inform this dumbass Sultan that his concerns about Ndiigbo are utterly misplaced. For once in your miserable life, just say the truth. Please stop worrying about Ndiigbo and their your imaginary business because actualization of Biafra or Republic of Igbo land does not remotely indicated that Igbo peeps should not do business in your state. Nigerians are stationed everywhere on earth, including peeps from Sokoto, yet their hosts have never informed them not to partake in business because Nigeria is an independent state. What an idiotic stream of thought.

and oga maybe I should school you briefly, when something is not done in its entirety, in its pure form we call it's complete implementation as being true, meaning raw. We can't pick the part that pleases us and ignore some parts, because federalism is an already defined type of government, in its pure form with no modifications to suit the needs or selfishness of its doers, we say true federalism
The major problem besetting Nigeria today is not corruption but the inability to speak honestly because of undue pressure from tribalism. These nonsensically human defects could be easily correctly by disintegration of the cesspit so that nation states in Nigeria can chase their destinies. If you do not have the required human intellect to run federalism such as Nigerians do, it is act of brazen idiocy in an attempt to redefine federalism into “true or false”.

If APC can conduct fresh primaries ,then Inec should equally conduct fresh elections. That is the right thing to do

This is not an ipob thread nor is the intention of this thread to foster hatred amongst ourselves or others. Please I will appreciate if only mature comments are made and mutual respect with decorum observed.

I am really scared for the future, the economic situation in Nigeria is dire and the political class appear clueless in providing a solution to this problem, all governments be it goodluck, obasanjo, yar a dua, buhari, or even the military era that was intertwined with brief periods of civilian rule have all failed us. I thus move the motion for true federalism initiative , many do not want that which is understandable because one never wipes his bottom first before using the toilet. We must first have a developmental blueprint for each region that ensures utilisation of regional resources as well as maximisation of our general wealth. The future of the Igbos is in the hands of our enlightened youths, not the street urchins or traders whose wisdom are limited by exposure. I invite opinions and insights into ways to develop and maximise the potentials of the igbo race. Hopefully once we have determined on paper through intelligent discourse on our future prospects we will seek our own country if true federalism isn't implemented

I implore other tribes that are capable of national building, such as the yorubas and Northerners to observe and take cue from discussions and suggestions offered here. To look inwards towards positioning their people for true federalism or future seccesion.

I will post opinions and suggestions in hope that this thread becomes a fruitful drive towards actualization of the igbo developmental agenda

Please everybody's opinion is an opinion, everybody's suggestion is a suggestion, let's teach people decorum by our conduct in this thread, by respecting differing opinions and rather discussing towards a positive conclusion

We are the leaders of tomorrow, unfortunately tomorrow has come and we are not yet good apprentices talk more of leaders.
The bolded moved the above waste to the dust bin. What the hell is "true federalism"? I guess there must be a "false federalism". All these idiotic talks of federalism are mark of social and intellectual dishonesty. Nigeria is a waste of human efforts that should have been discouraged 59 years ago.

A former Minister of Education, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili, said on Tuesday that Nigerian citizens were losing huge productivity hours to find and buy fuel products.

A situation, she said, was inconsistent with Nigeria’s desire to improve efficiency.

She also lamented that Nigeria squandered the opportunity to build its reserve and Excess Crude Account to close to $100 billion.

Ezekwesili in several tweets said it was shameful to see people who oversaw and supported the depletion of Nigeria’s huge oil reserves for six years walking freely.

Secondly, I suggest Igbos to reach out to elders and leaders of minority tribes around and table a clear agenda and manifesto before them to gain their support.

We can work towards a regional system of government between the five SE states and any other groups in the SS that are convinced to be part of the new country. I believe this ought to have been done before coming out with any maps. You don't just get up and draw maps in the UK and begin to publish online as Biafra. Your imprisoned god asked you to murder tinubu; what did tinubu do to igbos to call for such barbaric utterance? And yet, your half-insensible self sees it as part of civilization.

Civilised people Dont preach hate or murder; they seek redress via right and legal channels. So Mr, your tribe is a barbaric tribe for ever supporting the murderous and treasonable utterances made by Kanu.
The narrow stream of deduction by most Nigerians leaves much to be desired. It is unfortunate your level of intellect drove you to fathom that the so-called southwest is a different entity aside from Nigeria. As presently configured, Nigeria is an open season to all Nigerians. Does this absolve certain ethnicity from becoming an enemy to another? The answer is no. He looked like a chicken in the rain in court today and was even described as standing in court without uttering a word. Am sure the Dss treatment is gradually restoring his brain to factory settings. Before the previous Biafra war, Ojukwu had a template of what biafra would look like and even presented his demands through the aburi accord in Ghana. He had military experience and a PlanB if the aburi accord was rejected. Despite this, Ojukwu regretted leading his people to a bloody massacre and has since called for a United Nigeria. Kanu's approach was to brainwash innocent youths, spread hate and bile and even instigate war on other non igbo tribes. No concrete reason why they want Biafra other than the Yorubas and Hausas hate us so we have to go. Comparing Kanu to Ojukwu is an insult in all ramifications. Kanu's predicament will never end soon.
