who talk'am?

If Kachikwu didn't inform the senate committee on petroleum about April 5 & 7... It means that the committee cooked up that lie. Either way, one of them(Kachikwu or the committee) is definitely lying.

I suspect Kachikwu and or the committee has/have been seeing lie Muh'd lately.

He actually said 2 weeks and he was working towards 7th of April but definitely after 2 weeks. The paper chose to run with 7th April.

Both generating and transmissions are parts of a system. They are connected and affect one another.
I like the truth to be told. I am averse to sensationalism. We have system collapse often but to suggest zero generation is ridiculous and mischievous. In simple terms, the paper is saying Kainji, Shiroro, Jebba, Egbin, Omotosho, Papalanto, Sapele, Port Harcourt and all other power plants shut down at the same time.
Politics › Re: Power Generation Crumbles To 0MW For Hours by dustydee: 6:29pm On Mar 31, 2016
Not true, power generation can never be 0MW. A system collapse is not the same as no power generated. It simply means none was transmitted on to the grid.

APC and PMB should. I got disappointed in PMB since the day I heard of the illegal recruitment
The president may not have been aware of the recruitment but since the revelations he should have done something about it. I don't know thw role of APC in this as the CBN governor is non partisan. He probably did that to curry favour from the government.
Politics › Re: Federal Character Commission ‘unaware’ Of Waiver For CBN 2015 Secret Recruitmen by dustydee: 11:09pm On Mar 26, 2016
CBN should just admit it. Th recruitment was wrong. If they say it was targeted, then how was the selection done? How did they identify the skills and talents they needed without advertising it. If they were headhunted, was it a coincidence that those headhunted were children of the high and mighty? CBN was wrong and someone should account for his/her actions.

I didn't see where he confessed or apologized. All I read was someone's narration of what he was supposedly told by Dikwa (Which could be false and an attempt to discredit him). If Dikwa didn't know who he was talking to, how sure is Pst Bosun that he was speaking with Dikwa? I choose to wait to hear from the horse's mouth.

Seun your boys are at it again: adding salt and pepper. No where did he insinuate or say "we may fail Nigerians". Not even the source of the story but purely the warped opinion of the OP.
Seun, your site seems to be promoting junk over substance now and is fast losing it's credibility.

They drive too close to each other. When u apply brake it moves like extra 1meter before cars come to rest. You actually knw wat am saying. If that isn't the cause them maybe they all fell frm sky or behind a lorry carrying them. Eh eh
My point is that the cars behind did not give enough room for braking in case of emergency. If the case goes to court based on your assertions, the cars behind will likely get the blame. In driving school they teach emergency braking and the distance you should have between your car and the one behind which is usually difficult to stick to.

okay, thanks. So in this case, do I tell the VO my old passport got lost or should I simply say it expired and I got it renewed?
If you are going to the UK, you'd not see the VO but I am not sure if you have to include your old passport. They know mistakes happen and it shouldn't be much of a problem since you didn't use it.

Thanks for your input. Actually, the former passport was an e-passport, I obtained it in 2010 and it expired in 2015. Also, I did not use it for any travelling purpose. No visa was granted or denied with the passport. What do you have to say to this?
You should be fine.

Nope, it was much higher than this early last year.

oga that was the cause
The first driver (the Benze driver) was on phone and he never knew that the traffic light has turned to red (stop light)
He suddenly slammed the brake when he realise that th light but it was too late cos he was on speed
It happened at law school
It still doesn't explain how "sudden braking" caused the accident. Going by your version, "using a mobile phone while driving" was the cause.

Hello everyone,

I need your candid opinion on a burning issue which has been troubling me for some time now. I am really ashamed and remorseful of my actions, it was just the situation I found myself. I was once a footballer and once had an opportunity to travel to Europe for my footballing career but this did not work out as planned. I got a passport for this purpose where I did not use my real age, as advised by my coach and agent. I later dropped football and went back to school. Now I am done with my first degree and I intend going abroad for my masters degree. The old passport with my false age expired and I proceeded to the NIS office where I met an Immigration officer who assisted me and got me another passport after I did the Biometrics. I actually paid him 100k for this. I really don't know if it was renewal or re-issue he did but this new passport has my real age and name which tally with my academic documents. The new passport has the old and new passport numbers written on it its data page. Now my question is, with the old number available on the passport, will the embassy verify and compare the information on the new and old passports?

Thanks for your useful contributions.
shocked
This is the first time I am hearing of this. When I renewed mine, the old passport number was not printed on the new one.
Is the old passport ECOWAS passport?
Did you use it to apply for a visa?
Why did you pay 100k for the passport?

He listed what is considered as corruption under Article 19 of UNCAC and Section 19 of the ICPC Act as: illicit enrichment , trading in influence etc.

Does stealing not fall under illicit enrichment too.

Hmmm!
You have a 5000mw transmission line that needs to be redesigned to be able to carry incremental loads of 10000mw and above.
Unless you are in the field you will not understand the problem
The off grid plants won't go on the grid. And I was told that there are transmission lines under construction already.
Politics › Re: Can Buhari Really Deliver 10,000 Mega Watts In 3years? by dustydee: 4:59pm On Mar 22, 2016
baralatie:
The problem is not necessarily power production it is power transmission lines and systems
The president said 10000MW “distributable power”. I don’t see a problem with that as I understand there are on-going transmission line projects. Also with off grid generation set to increase, transmission may not be too much of a problem.

Yes.
All the government has to do is complete all ongoing power plant projects across the country.
There are also other small off grid plants being constructed across the country.
