I don't agree with that tho u have a point.....I supply civil servants that basically eat the fish with garri and when it is too salted, that can't be possible and even dangerous
You mean people eat dry fish without cooing it? Wow. Maybe oven dried but I prefer smoked fish to dried fish because of the cooking process involved.
During my undergrad, the agric department had solar dryers with dried smelly fish in them. That put me off dried fish till now.
Phones › Re: Does It Mean No Internet Service Provision For Those With 2/3g Phones On Ntel? by dustydee: 9:21am On Apr 12, 2016
mekeloby:
I want to correct a notion here that alot of people have been making. There's this misconception that all 4G providers must natively provide legacy 2G and 3G service. This is generally the case but isn't a hard carved rule.

Each of these services 2G, 3G or 4G requires spectrum to be purchased which costs a lot of money. This is regulated by NCC.

If NTEL have not purchased any bands in the 2G/3G spectrum according to 3GPP standards, then they cannot support that service.

Right question now would be, has NTEL been allocated spectrum for 2G or 3G? This is something I don't know about and hence can't make comments on.

I hope this is clear enough.

Regards.

XZ
NITEL had a 2G license which was transferred to ntel. I do not know if ntel has started operating the license.
Politics › Re: $60 Billion Lagos To Calabar Was In The Budget: PDP Senator by dustydee: 2:38pm On Apr 11, 2016
prince088:
How can u defend what was not included in the budget? I believe both Ameachi and the committee were working with the scripts of the Budget. Here you can clearly hear about the Kano-Lagos and its connecting routes. You can also hear the emphasis of Calabar-Lagos, stating all routes. Who is deceiving who now. Truth is many of the senators were not involved in the passage of the Budget....they left it only the committee hence they don't even know much details. Watch the defence below. Skip to about the 5th minute

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KE2XYj9Id4&app=desktop
Oga, this video is not for budget defence.

How can he defend a project that has no funds appropriated for its execution. Was he making a case for its inclusion? Or defending a ghost project. Or it was probably inserted after the original document got missing from the National Assembly.
In that case you make a case for it's inclusion. The NASS did the same for their budget so I see no problem here. The whole thing is not a big issue and should have been managed better but I sense it is the media that is trying to pitch one arm of government against another. Unfortunately it hasn't been handled well so far by both arms.

It may not have been in the budget but I believe it was included during the budget defence.

Did anyone notice the "Promo pack" sticker on some cartons? Unilever needs to investigate where they came from if it wasn't donated to the church by them. I suspect a marketer sold the packs he/she was meant to distribute free of charge.

my brother ecobank deducts 100 naira from my account every month, when I logded a complaint in their office,I was told it is for access fee,Nigeria banks are seriously stealing from their customers .which one is access fee
Ecobank used to do that to me. It took me about 2 years of emailing them to finally stop the deductions. The final nail was when they referred me to the CBN guideline about charges. I downloaded and read it and there was nothing like that approved and I pointed it out to them. They "apologised" and stopped the charges. The next phase, when I have time, is to push for a refund.

One thing I like about some APC supporters is that they criticize their government when they are not performing to expectation unlike the PDP that hardly sees anything wrong with their government. If we must progress as a country we must learn to tell each other the truth even if we come from the same family.

is the import tax in Nigeria and Kenya the same? You also need to compare the cost of doing business in Nigeria and Kenya e.g corporation tax, operational costs etc.

We know he didn't say that. The lazy press, as usual, drew their conclusions.
