Is there a way to fund binance account and also withdraw from it in UK without any implications.
I use Revolut. I tried it some weeks ago after I read here that banks close accounts and they haven't closed mine. I also used it two days ago.

DoubleN:
Used Revolut some days ago as a first timer withdrawing. Opened Coinbase and Revolut minutes apart just to do this.

So the Process used was this Wallet >>Binance>>Coinbase>>Revolut.

Come back with your testimony grin

Curious, why go through this route and pay more fees? Why not Wallet >> Binance >> Revolut?

Reply with semmyk's draft and state these things as an addendum. State the names of the persons who have threatened you and possible times they did.

Be factual but allude more to how these acts have affected your mental health.

Also, ensure your new COS is titanium locked so, you have a new contract to hold on to.

Cheers.

Just to say this.

When on your right and as it alludes to intimidation or issues that affect your mental wellbeing, no fear, stand your ground.

On this platform, issues far stronger than this have been resolved. People, including my humble self don write home office for here query them, nothing happened. Schools have been queried with HO join and the issues resolved.

Just make sure you are speaking the truth and stating the facts.

You would be fine.
I won't advice him to use that as draft. Semmyk's comments are often not easy to understand. It's better for him to keep the language simple and terse.

If you live in a 3 bed house and you use one of the rooms for your business, you can claim 33% of the interest on your mortgage as deductable.

Ps. Not an accountant or tax consultant but me done research on what and what is deductable as I'm looking at towing self employment line. Do your DD to confirm
Yes but I was asking for someone who is a staff and not a contractor. My understanding of his/her post is that you can claim interest back from HMRC, which caught my attention but I want to know the caveats or limits of that statement.

THE UK TAX FILING SEASON 2022

Tax season in the UK is the period of time in the year where ALL residents who are taxpayers are required to declare their incomes and submit their tax returns with the Her Majesty Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The season for filing taxes for 2022 has commenced in October 31st 2022 and will end on 31st January 2023. So make sure you file your taxes whether you are in full time employment or self employed.

The benefits of filing your taxes are huge.
1. You have the opportunity to claim the personal allowance of GBP12,570 each year,
2. you can claim some reliefs such as interest you have paid on mortgage loans you have taken to acquire apartment, which means you are effectively transferring all mortgage interest to the government while you are repaying only the principal of your mortgage loan, and
3. You are complying with the tax laws and avoiding paying late penalty charges. i.e GBP100 for first week.

You can do the filing online on HMRC website but if your incomes are not straight forward, it is better to get a tax consultant handle it for you to avoiding exposing yourself to high tax risk.

Let me know if you need help with your taxes. Also, follow me on Tiktok @japhethjev1 for daily tax and finance tips that can save you fortunes in the UK. My advice on Tiktok is to help Black immigrants navigate taxes and manage their finances better in the UK.
Are you suggesting a private person can claim interest on a mortgage? Never heard this before. If that's the case then need to find me an accountant. Can it be claimed retrospectively?

The application can’t be put in May because they can only issue cos 3months to start date .

The start date cannot be change as it’s a structured graduate program
Surely the start date can be changed. May be the change cannot be for months but certainly it can be.

Question is how can this fellow remain in Uk without having to take post study for 2months before switching to skilled work visa.

Thanks in advance
One way is to put in the Tier 2 application by May and another way is to ask the company to move your start date to May.

I am not understanding. Do you mean, you were paying tax consultants and they still allowed you to pay all that excess tax?
Yes. In fact there was one time I asked if I could claim a certain expense, the accountant said ultimately I am the director and the final decision lies with me but then added a caveat which I interpreted as "you shouldn't be doing this" but I later found out it was perfectly legal.
I used one of those "big" accounting firms online partly because they were recommended by my agency then plus I did not want HMRC wahala.

It's a bit different when you are contracting (self employment) as you can choose to work through your own Ltd company or as a sole trader and pay your tax via self assessment where accountants can play around the rules in your favour using tax efficient measures to keep your tax liabilities low.

Next time, call HMRC directly. I recently realised I was overtaxed for 8 months at my new job. I called HMRC and provided them the right tax code, and was refunded almost 2k.

You should know your tax code and all these information are on the HMRC page, down to calculating your tax payment for the year.

I have friends that overpaid tax and got refunded (without contacting HMRC) after the tax year.
It wouldn't have worked. This is about tax efficiency and savings not refund. My accountants should have told me what to take or do to reduce my tax liabilities.

I am the The CPA Guy- a chartered accountant here in the UK

I have found that tax matters are very important to us immigrants in the UK so I have decided to share Taxhelp with all of us in this forum. I will create time to drop important tax help once a week free of charge. However, if anybody needs help with their annual tax filing they can reach out for proper consultation at a fee.

Let me tell you, 99% of people who live and work in the UK would receive good cash as tax refund if they get help from a tax advisor with their taxes. The tax rules are quite huge and complicated so you are not expected to know them- but getting an advisor for a fraction of the thousands of pounds you pay to HMRC every year will save you a fortune.

For example, workers who earn salaries get taxed through Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system where their employers deduct the taxes directly and sends to HMRC. The minimum many of them pay is about 30% (income tax 20% + NI 12%) but the law allows workers the opportunity to file tax returns every year where they are allowed to deduct their work related expenses from their salaries, and also deduct personal allowance before paying taxes on the taxable income that ensue after these deductions. However, 99% of immigrant workers in the UK accept the PAYE as final tax and therefore, end up paying excess taxes to the HMRC.

I have been through the system and being in tax space in the country, I consider this a sad situation and am determined to help thousands of UK immigrants to get their cash back legally from HMRC.

I will also be releasing Tiktok videos sharing taxtips and finance tips for Black Immigrants to the UK weekly so you may want to connect with @japhethjev1 on tiktok to listen to these tips.
Let me save this by quoting it. Dashed HMRC money when I was contracting until I realised after almost 3 years that I could have saved a lot more. To make matters worse, I paid the accounting firm thousands yearly for the priviledge.

Nothing really but if you have your Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) it means that you're not on the leash of any employer who sponsored your work visa and so you can travel as much as you want. But in a case where you are sponsored for the work visa and you've not clocked a year on the visa but you want to leave work to travel for an occasion that can be avoided, then you stand the risk of your employer feeling unsatisfied with your employment .

Thanks for your response.
I don't believe it should have an effect one way or the other as in an ideal situation, the employer is expected to be reasonable and this event is a funeral. Having ILR does not mean you can travel as much as you want except if it is within the limits of your organisation or if does not adversely affect business conduct.
If the employer feels unsatisfied with your emplyment, it won't be because you took time off to attend a funeral, especially if it is part of your leave entitlement or within your contract and you are not spending extended periods away.

Also, going by her enquiry, her spouse has ILR so she may not be tied to the employer.
Again, thanks for responding, I just could think of any difference that's why I asked.

Last year when I enter into the U. K the person that took me from the train station to house told me to pay his transport fare and sim card as noivce I paid the money. After some months I later attended church and I was complaining about cold in which a Ghanaian man took me for shopping and bought winter cloths for me. Can you imagine me my Nigerian friends was asking me if he was gay because my fellow man took me out for shopping?
Also a Nigeria man organise his marriage in the UK and charge every one 20 pounds to enter his marriage reciption. That we can't come and eat free food in his marriage. When I got covid last year All my Nigeria friends did not visit me. It was only my Ghanaian friends that visited me with provision and I was beginning to get feed up with my naija people.
Also at my place of work do u know my Nigeria people charge as money close to uber price and more expensive than bus just to take us to the same work there are going and if u complain there will tell u to go and catch the bus in which UK bus is very frustrating because the bus always pass a very long route.
Right now the India people that usually carry us free are now asking us for money close to uber price just to give us lift saying our Nigeria brothers don't carry them free so there can't carry us free. I try explaining to them that I am both treated the same way u are treated but dem nor want to hear looking at every Nigeria as wicked people
I also work in a ware house. Most Nigeria in the warehouse was complaining of a very particular man who was a supervisor and a Nigeria man. Omo this man dey snitch on us Africa people and also harassing us before the white people so that he can get manger position in which he later get and many African in my working place keep telling me my brother is wicked. So I have to warn them that the bastard Nigeria is not my brother but a selfish person that want to get people sack because he wants to climb on the top. I have alot of stories to type but am tired of typing. I keep asking if the UK has a stingy spirit that once we enter the UK we become stingy?
To each his own. I assume you are a Nigerian, what have you done to change the narrative?

Good evening guys. Pls I have questions which I'm hoping u can advise on:

1 - The agent that filled my wife's visa application form put wrong names for her parent (father's) names. My wife has now travelled safely to the UK and my son and I are about to apply to join her as dependants. I was advised to leave this error and correct it when we have arrived and are applying for new sponsorship (her current UK skilled visa expires in 16months) or later when we're applying for ILR. Pls what do u advise?

2. In chasing my son and I's Dependant Application, I'm assuming we still need to show proof of maintenance funds (£600 for us both) even tho maintenance for herself and family was ticked on her CoS but she's been there for about 8weeks now and we're only just abt joining her.

3. Is there need for proof of adequate accommodation using maybe Council tax (which she has in her name) to support our dependants application?

Thanks in advance for suggestions/opinions.

Pop
I am interested in how you intend to convince UKBA that your agent made a mistake and you repeated the same mistake too.
My advise is not to complicate your issue for yourself. It's not the end of the world.

We don't want to move to any of these places.

Our plan now is to leave them. (3 transfers within one year is unsettling).

They don't pay for this relocation cost, what they do is pay for deposit and first month rent and charge it back for you to pay back small small.

But these are my major challenges with leaving them immediately and also leaving Newcastle as Newcastle do not seems to have a lot of Nursing roles with Sponsorship.

Below are why I am thinking it will be expensive leaving Newcastle Now.

1. We have got tenant contracts that will end April 8 2023.
2. Energy Contract till April 2023 exit fee £300.
3. Wifi Contract till April 2023 exit fee £150.

So the earliest I think we can leave Newcastle is April 2023.

Thinking of what to do between now and April 2023 is mentally draining.

If we accept to go to any of these places in the interim (Which is likely the only option we have now), while looking for job with sponsorship in Manchester or Liverpool or Leeds (I believe they will be more opportunities there especially for me, It was hard for me to find job here in Newcastle due to my family situation and were we live), The cheapest she would spend working 14days a month with taxi is £980. This will put alot of financial burden on us.

In her contract, if she leaves before 3 years she will pay back a certain amount, her colleague left after 6months and she was asked to pay back £4,500.

How do I sail through this turbulent sea.

Can her Union force them to pay for this taxi fare?.

Please dear Ancestors i need all the Advice, help and Encouragement now.
Baba this is bad and I suspect it is worse than you have stated. This is the UK and you have a very good case for leaving the contract and even get compensated sef. The unions can help you as someone stated but you can explore the angle of mental health and constructive dismissal ( TheGuyFromHR may know anout this)

We left Scotland for Newcastle with this same Employer 6months ago. Now another transfer to either Durham or Sunderland in 26days.
Do they pay for relocation? Was this a condition in your contract?
If not, you are not obliged to move. Even to move office sef, emplyers have to take it easy with employees not to talk of transfer. And if it's in your contract, you and your family's mental health and stability is a good enough reason to decline, in my opinion.
