Ofcourse there’s hope bro, most people who were supposed to have their interview this month were canceled and rescheduled for May because of the virus, so hopefully your interview is gonna be between June or July |

Amigo101: So... are we all gonna pretend we didn't notice that January 2020 bulletin didn't even move a day? It moved! F1 moved with 2months while F2B didn’t move at all. And the reason is not far fetched, a lot of people migrated or should I say redeployed to F2B because it was moving faster than the F1, in return F1 applications became fewer hence the movement. |

JustMellow: Hello Duuzsz,
Get your sponsor(parent) to make provision on how to show it in their own account or have it sent to yours.
N.B: its best advised that the closing balance should have extra amount if/when your tuition fees and LE has been removed.
Good luck Thank you so much! God bless you. |

Kennytowel: Good day. Pls am just joining this forum. I got my letter to proceed with my immigration visa am under f2b category. I have filled the ds260 form alongside my baby and submitted all documents and am waiting for a case complete message.
The issue here is that I got married last year. The marriage hasn't been great. In other words not seeing myself in this long term. I never informed USCIS of my marital status. Didn't change my name. Still have my maiden name on all documents No traces that I have been married except the court certificate. Not presently planning to file for my partner in the long run. I just want to know if they investigate your marital status at the long run. And when submitting my ds260 I stated single I also went to the registry to inquire from staffs If they come to verify if your married and they stated they rarely do. They don’t investigate unless they have reason to, but since you stated you are not married, mentain that. And I hope you don’t have any pics of your marriage or any thing related in any social media platform? If you do, quickly delete them all. You’ll be fine. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Duuzsz(m): 1:47am On Dec 07, 2019 |
JustMellow: Hello Duuzsz,
Don't bother wasting your funds, 300k is a huge sum. However, just a promissory letter from the local government won't guarantee you study visa. If you go ahead with it, you are likely to get refused. It is advisable you look for a more reliable sponsor who can show substantive financial commitment.
Thus, if the local government agrees to show financial commitment by transferring funds for your 1yr or more LE and you paying for your first year tuition fees with proper proof to show for tuition payment for subsequent years, then your next move will be to prove why you were chosen for sure educational benefit.
You should have gone for a PGD/C or Masters. This period, an average application might not scale through for a second degree or a program switch. Though not impossible but it will be really painstaking convincing the VO.
Good luck Thank you so much... How about I get a relation in the US as sponsor( dad), then I get 1yr tuition fees in my account. Would this work? |

Duuzsz: Good afternoon all!
I’m new here, I’ve tried to search through all the parts of this thread, it’s really cumbersome. But below is my question I would love to get direct answer to:
I apply for a Canadian school for my undergraduate course (though I’ve first degree here in Nigeria, I didn’t bother to mention it). I was accepted and offered an admission but this issue now is how do I go about the sponsor aspect of it? I wanted to get a sponsor from a local government, with the local government statement of account and letter stating they want to sponsor me, I was asked to pay 300k for that. Even if I pay, Will this work ? Or is there other way I can get a sponsor? Please I really need y’all help on this thank you.
Justwise, and every other experts here. I need your help. Anyone ? |

I know pristine88, it’s just that approval comes before case is current (I mean before priority date is current). On the norms, I’m suppose to get the Noa2 ( notice of action 2) before my priority date which is Nov 2014. Shey u see why I dey wori! |

Here’s is my question: I’m in F1 category, pd was Nov 2014, Vermont service center. We got the noa1(notice of action 1) but we’ve not gotten any approval notice (noa2), does it take that long to get approved? Has anyone experienced this or something is wrong with my case ? How long does it take to get approval notice?
Thank you Any response, please |
