I thought you people said it's APC and Buhari, and their aim is to give power back to the north? We keep saying you must view Boko haram as a terrorist organisation and fight them with a national coalition not just saying it's a northern problem. If they capture maiduguri, they will aim for Adamawa, then Bauchi, then Plateau, then Abuja and one day lagos and portharcourt. Once again Mr president, Boko haram is not after your job but after Nigeria, we must defeat them terrorist |

Christianity Etc › Re: I’ll Punch Anyone Who Insults My Mother – Pope Francis by dvee2: 9:28am On Jan 18, 2015 |
Ok let's reason with open mind here, I do not support violence, however there is limit to what some people call freedom of expression. That's what the Pope is trying to say and the world knows it. The world know you have a limit when you insult Jews, the world knows there is a limit when you are racist, why does the world pretend not to know and cite freedom of expression when you insult muslims? Last month Ballotelli was suspended, reprimanded and force to pay fine for putting an anti semitic cartoon on his tweeter, that time there is limit to freedom of expression. Just yesterday not many of you know Jim Clancy of CNN was sacked for expressing himself about Jews, that time there is limit to freedom of expression. Only when it comes to Islam we all declare there is no limit. What double standard is this. I still insists this is no justification for violence. But the Pope is right, there is indeed a limit to freedom of expression |

Another storyline for your propagandashit joor Why was he raising 25 billion donation? He can use that to rent an aircraft, that's what responsible government do If you can use official aircraft for campaign, you can also use official money from federation account for campaign |
Politics › Re: Jonathan Defies INEC- Deploys Presidential Jets For Campaigns by dvee2: 8:50am On Jan 18, 2015 |
It is true that Obama uses Airforce one to campaign but that was only after an equivalent aircraft was provided to Romney to even out things. Similar the same vehicle that Obama was using was issued to Romney, the only difference in the two vehicle is the stamp of office on Obamas vehicle. Therefore it is wrong for GEJ or any governor to use official properties for campaign. |

gunnersjohn: ***MIDDLE BELTIANS WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER***
I was pondering on the states that comprise middle belt Nigeria and how can they be just bench-warmers and aliens in the issues that concern our their nation. I also Imagined how they can be fugitives and slaves in their own country, all in the claim of being northerners.
I quickly went for a Nigerian map in an effort to trace out the Middle Belt territory from the North. I was shocked to find out that the Middle belt comprised of Benue, Plateau, Parts of Bauchi, Taraba, Adamawa, Niger, Kogi, and southern parts of Kebbi, Kaduna and Borno states.
After a long, stormy relationship between the Hausa/Fulani – and other tribal groupings in the North, the marriage appears critically wounded as both battle ahead of 2015 presidential/general elections.
My curiosity on the national interest made me contact the well meanings in the region, where I discovered that, Middle Belt people say they have been unfairly treated by the Hausa/Fulani, used and dumped as second rate citizens when it comes to matters of national security, welfare, politics, economics even in social relationships such as marriages.
They also sees the unprecedented killings of non- Muslims in places of worship by Islamists in the North, and incessant raids on their communities by alleged Fulani herdsmen as some kind of retaliation against them for voting, almost in one bloc, for President Jonathan Goodluck, in 2011.
The Middle Belt points to the lopsidedness in the number of political appointments, jobs at the state and federal levels, in favour of Hausa-Fulani, despite what they described as their bigger contributions to the development of the region.
Also, the Middle Belt Forum rejected the idea of “one North”, saying it was a ruse used by the Hausa /Fulani to appropriate power and resources to itself, accommodating a few of its apologists from the Middle Belt.
They spokr further that, the core North sees the pronouncements as the whimpering of a spoilt baby. Some thinkers of the Hausa/Fulani, who consider themselves as in a clear majority, see the Muslim North as having conceded too much to its minority, which has chosen to maintain a Middle Belt identity.
It is high time Middle Beltian araise against this molestation, frustration and being slaves and beggers to what belongs to us all. How long would you continue to be suffering and smiling in the face of surplus of our National cake. No wonder the region is lacking in so many developmental areas, be it physical and human developments.
Goodluck Jonathan came from minority region like yours, that is why he is facing these gross governmental molestations in various forms in the hands of the so called born to rule hausa fulanis.
Work with and support Goodluck Jonathan 2015 presidential project, so that your turn can come-up in the year 2019. We all own Nigeria, hausa-fulani have been in the presidency since the inception of Independence and before, Yoruba have been there, Niger Delta is doing now and when will your turn comes, we all know the contribution of Gen. Yakubu Gowon in uniting Nigeria with NYSC scheme and lots more.
Middle Beltians raise up from your slumber and work with GOODLUCK JONATHAN to be re-elected as president, 2015.

KwoiZabo: I watched that interview by Nick Robertson supposedly in jos and I was angry. How can that soldier say they buy their kit and other rubbish like burnt soldiers etc? Where does he get it from? Is military uniform plain blue civil defence uses? Or is military belt and boots sold at balogun, kasuwan magani or ochanja market? That reporting was so so wrong, biased and derogatory to us as a nation. I just hate CNN now. No wonder Egypt has refused to release Aljazeera reporters and that soldier needs to be fished out and punished. If you don't know something just dont stick your neck. Funny certificate alone can never be a measure for education. If certificate alone is a measure of education and competency, Nigeria would have been a first world. paper qualifications are everywhere, it's the training you acquire that will give you an edge, that is why employers will always ask for experience. Going by the training Buhari has through his career, it's equivalent to a professor, so cut this out. |

That's what INEC /APC have been saying, go to court. Mind you, the minimum requirements is WASC or equivalent. It has already been proven that Buhari has a Diploma which is higher than WASC So this case is a no brainier. INEC have repeatedly said an affidavit is enough for them. There is what is known as transcript of academic record which Buhari can easily apply for from the school and acceptable to every court of law. |

Meanwhile my take on Buhari who they claim would bring us change.
I have never seen any school built in his name. * I have never seen any borehole constructed by him. * There is no record of any scholarship awarded by him or for him nor through him. * I have never seen him use his popularity to canvass for any charitable work nor any humanitarian effort, not even at the height of the polio scourge where other purposeful and prominent leaders lead the campaign for immunization. * No single text book has been donated to any school either by him, for him or through him.
* Asides from doing nothing, he has not improved himself since his exit from office. * No book written, no memoirs, no lectures, nothing. * The only thing of note he can point to are his numerous interviews on the BBC Hausa station. * He never champion for a university in his state nor has he ever been involved in any kind of programme to better the lives of the Almajiris in Daura. * His entire existence has not led to any meaningful development in Daura, yet they say he can change Nigeria. Doesn't charity begin at home again? * No wonder he was referred to as being ''perpetually unelectable''. * He is not a patron to any organization, group or association. * No professional body in Nigeria has ever invited him for their lecture, convention or gala night. * The only time any known form, body or human assemblage ever chose him to do anything for them was when the Boko Haram terrorist sect nominated him as their spoke person in the proposed talks with the Fed.
