Visual Basic is a programming language and environment developed by Microsoft. Based on the BASIC language, Visual Basic was one of the first products to provide a graphical programming environment and a paint metaphor for developing user interfaces. Instead of worrying about syntax details, the Visual Basic programmer can add a substantial amount of code simply by dragging and dropping controls, such as buttons and dialog boxes, and then defining their appearance and behavior. Although not a true object-oriented programming language in the strictest sense, Visual Basic nevertheless has an object-oriented philosophy. It is sometimes called an event-driven language because each object can react to different events such as a mouse click. Since its launch in 1990, the Visual Basic approach has become the norm for programming languages. Now there are visual environments for many programming languages, including C, C++, Pascal, and Java. Visual Basic is sometimes called a Rapid Application Development (RAD) system because it enables programmers to quickly build prototype applications.

I mean my own VB created application not operating system
Backend- Built in VB database -- Database created using Tables of Dynaset type with the database name "userAccount.mdb"

Nairalanders Iam still waiting for solution to the users Account Authentication however I have limited the problem to:

--------Users should be allowed to create an account using Username and password
--------Users will log into a form called Mainpage using the accout already created
--------An administratior with username Administrator and a password to be entered thru a textbox will be able to edit users such that any user account can be deleted
-------It should be able to detect duplicate username and prompt for a change

Just imagine a lady hardly goes out without 1st staring at the mirrow
or going out with a hand mirrow on her cosmetic bag and would always glance at the mirrow in buses,library,Lecture halls,church,toilet and any where? Thats their nature especialy the ugly ones that uses make-up to patch up their ugliness can never do whithout starring at themselves thru the mirrow or their pics

Was able to change a gal to quit hot temper.
Bad habits can and shld be abandoned when necessary by the assistance of a spouse

One of the Multimedia software used for such is Pinnacle

I ve tried the program u benevolently posted here but its still not running.
I think a label or some other thing is supposed to be used to trap output I still need more assistance to make it run well.

To make my question clearer,suppose a certain establishment is responsible for awarding contracts,
I need a program(Codes) that will be able to compare the contract duration say 3 years with the current date of any day and give a message say "YOU HAVE 2 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS LEFT TO FINISH THIS CONTRACT" or "THIS CONTRACT DURATION HAS BEEN EXCEEDED BY 3 MONTHS"
The program should be able to use the date the contract is awarded, the duration of the contract and the current date of any day
It shld be able to stop displaying the message once the contract status is "COMPLETED"
There are several status 4 the contract such as "ongoing","abandoned",Revoked & COMPLETED
THERE ARE SO MANY CONTRACTS ALL STORED IN A DATABASE, This program shld be able to check the status of each of those contracts in the database and give information whether the duration of the contract has been exceeded or still much time still left to finish the contract.

End user interface never urs at all

Emphasis shuld placed on not only on grades but backed by technical know how or rather practicals demonstration of grades obtained or even better practical competence compared to the grade obtained

Some ISP are too fraudlent,dubious and hav so much shoddy deals

This is really sad our ISP TIKS based in Lagos are fond of disconnecting our channel and use it for other custumers or 4 private use. This is deliberately done by sone of the Network Engineer there and keep on pretending that the fault is not from them.
They disconnet us for a sharp business on rush periods such as when JAMB result is released or when checking 4 Exam centers or any other online registeration

The basic fact is to install two operating system in the same machine
Lower OS must be installed before the higher one, in this case you have to install WinXp first b4 installing Vista.
Now that you ve installed Vista first You can get another HDD and install Xp and during booting you enter setup and choose either of the 2 hard disk you want to boot from
the 2 HDD should be connected 2 diff IDE channel and set the jumper to master
Alternatively using an Os ghosting software to ghost WinXp into the HDD containing the Vista after creating a folder it will reside if the HDD does not hav more than one partition, u can modify the AUTOEXEC file to invoke that Win XP at booting or you can write a batch file that will be able to copy essentail files to ur win registry and as well enable it to be called up at booting so that you can select either of the operating sys to boot into.
B4 u follow this second option you must back up all essential files as you may not yet be used to this option.
