serahiyare:i've been waiting for you for ages... welcome back. |
naza9ja:I am not the person that shot with 425k but I shot this one here 'walk to redemption' with 260k and it's for skills testing. Then the short 'unexpected' is just for practicing that my friend and I shot it. You actually shoot with 400k and flex with the 25k balance if you know your way. |
Thefilmmaker, you don't have to argue with everyone. A man of your caliber need not dabble into fruitless discussions here on NL given that overtime, all projects initiated or discussed on this forum die a mysterious death and never sees the light of the day. You know na... Well, I shall be shooting next month... meanwhile, I shot one already. I am using two stars for this one. |
Very interesting Story ;!!!! A pretty and wealthy woman was serving life sentence in prison. Angry and resentful about her plight she had decided that she would rather die than to live another year in prison. Over the years she had become good friends with one of the prison caretakers. His job, among others, was to bury those prisoners who died in a graveyard just outside the prison walls. When a prisoner died, the caretaker rang a bell, which was heard by everyone. The caretaker then got the body and put it in a casket. Next, he entered his office to fill out the death certificate before returning to the casket to nail the lid shut. Finally, he put the casket on a wagon to take it to the graveyard and bury it. Knowing this routine, the woman devised an escape plan and shared it with the caretaker; The next time the bell rang, the woman would leave her cell and sneak into the dark room where the coffins were kept. She would slip into the coffin with the dead body while the caretaker was filling out the death certificate.. When the care-taker returned, he would nail the lid shut and take the coffin outside the prison with the woman in the coffin along with the dead body. He would then bury the coffin. The woman having pre-arranged with the caretaker for special vents in the coffin knew there would be enough air for her to breathe until later in the evening when the caretaker would return to the graveyard under the cover of darkness, dig up the coffin, open it, and set her free. She wld also carry along a small flashlight to cope with the darkness beneath until the hour of expected freedom. The caretaker was reluctant to go along with this plan, but since he and the woman had become good friends over the years, and knowing dat he stands to gain a lot from this pretty and wealthy woman, he more than agreed to do it. The woman waited several weeks before someone in the prison died. She was asleep in her cell when she heard the death bell ring. She got up and slowly walked down the hallway. She was nearly caught a couple of times. Her heart was beating fast. She opened the door to the darkened room where the coffins were kept. Quietly in the dark, she found the coffin that contained the dead body, carefully climbed into the coffin and pulled the lid shut to wait for the caretaker to come and nail the lid shut. Soon she heard footsteps and the pounding of the hammer and nails. Even though she was very uncomfortable in the coffin with the dead body, she knew that with each nail she was one step closer to freedom. The coffin was lifted onto the wagon and taken outside to the graveyard. She could feel the coffin being lowered into the ground. She didn't make a sound as the coffin hit the bottom of the grave with a thud. Finally she heard the dirt dropping onto the top of the wooden coffin, and she knew that it was only a matter of time and she would be free at last. After several minutes of absolute silence, she began to laugh...happily feeling free already and chanting she was free! she was free! Feeling curious, she decided to light the flashlight to find out the identity of the dead prisoner beside her. To her horror, she discovered that she was lying next to the CARETAKER....her only hope to freedom. Many people believe they have life all figured out...that they are well connected and can arrange and pre-arrange things to their favour... but sometimes it just doesn't turn out the way they planned it. Think of a 'Plan B'!!! "I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know WHO holds tomorrow." The Happiest People Don't Have the Best of Everything, They Just Make The Best Of What They Have...But at times even the BEST FAILS... Only one thing never fails...GOD. God loves us!! |
Buhari’s government will meet all your expectations – Osinbajo on september 07, 2015 at 1:15 pm in news Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has assured Nigerians that the Muhammadu Buhari administration would not let them down inspite of their high expectations. He gave the assurance on Sunday at the 33rd Holy Ghost Convention of the Sword of the Spirit Ministry, Garden of Victory, Old Ife Road, Ibadan. Osinbajo, who was accompanied by his wife, Dolapo, said the administration understood that there were high expectations and had prepared. “We know that it’s been very good; I think that the nation has high expectations and I know that things are just getting better by the day. “I believe that by the grace of God, all of those expectations and beyond will be met. So, we’re looking forward to more exciting times and great things for this nation,’’ he said. The vice president said that it was impossible to talk about a policy direction in one year, adding that he was sure of better days ahead. Osinbajo also expressed the hope that Nigerians had heard the president’s recent speech on the economy and what to expect in the next few days. He said a lot of work was underway on the economy, especially in the area of agriculture, infrastructure, power and roads. “A lot of work is to be done in the next few months, so we will see a lot,” Osinbajo said. Also speaking, Oke urged the people to protect the welfare of others, adding that God had always been with the righteous. “When you answer the call of God, definitely you become a blessing and that blessing will transform to divine enlargement,’’ he said. He said God had promised to use the convention with the theme, “Divine Enlargement, ” as a symbolic season. “ It is a season of supernatural enlargement, double rejoicing, double portion, double reward, double honour and double advancement on all frontiers,’’ Oke said. He said that the convention had provided a divine network for believers of all denominations for rich advancement. Prayer sessions led by notable clerics were held for Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria. Among those who conducted the session were Rev. Supo Ayokunle, the President, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Prelate Ola Makinde, Methodist Church Nigeria, and General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Abiara. Also present at the event were Chief Moses Adeyemo, Oyo State Deputy Governor, Prof . Isaac Adewole, the Vice-Chancellor, University of Ibadan, and Prof. Temitope Alonge, the Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital, Ibadan. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/09/buhais-government-will-meet-all-your-expectations-in-few-days-time-osinbajo/ |

Though we have settled ourselves at the other end but I can't ignore the urge to drop another message for you here. The message might seem old and stale but the content has a valid stronghold if well comprehended. If you fail, never give up because F.A.I.L. means"First Attempt In Life". End is not the end, in fact E.N.D means "Effort Never Dies" If you get No as an answer, remember N.O. means "Next Opportunity". Never see something as impossible for the word itself reads "I'M POSSIBLE". IT CAN'T BE CO-INCIDENCE OF LIFE: 1. CHURCH has 6 letters so does MOSQUE. 2. BIBLE has 5 letters so does QURAN. 3. LIFE has 4 letters so does DEAD. 4. HATE has 4 letters, so does LOVE.... 5. ENEMIES has 7, so does FRIENDS. 6. LYING has 5, so does TRUTH. 7. HURT has 4, so does HEAL. 8. NEGATIVE has 8, so does POSITIVE. 9. FAILURE has 7, so does SUCCESS. 10. BELOW has 5, so does ABOVE. 11. CRY has 3 letters so does JOY. 12. ANGER has 5 so does HAPPY. 13. RIGHT has 5 so does WRONG. 14. RICH has 4 so does POOR. 15. FAIL has 4 so does PASS 16. KNOWLEDGE has 9 so does IGNORANCE. Are they all by Co-incidence? We should Choose wisely, this means LIFE is like a Double-Edged Sword. If u think it is your alarm clock that woke you up this morning, try putting it beside a dead body and you will realise that it is the Grace of God that woke you up. I believe you, if for no reason at all, the fact alone that you are who you are as Larry has stated above is enough reason to have you as a friend. You are one in a million, of all my friends you have no equal. God willing and if we live long enough, we shall have more to do and achieve together. I am fulfilled having you as part of us. courtesy: NLSW ©2015 |
Dear Nigerians, I have experienced divers forms of scam in this country and have overlooked so many of them but the recent one on the loose now is something that cannot be overlooked. Some scammers are out to swindle unsuspecting victims of their hard earned money by promising to secure them jobs in the Nigerian civil defense. By thirty seven minutes after eight AM this morning I received a call from one unfamiliar number claiming to know me from Assemblies of God church Wuse zone 2. The information was correct but something was wrong somewhere because throughout my stay in Wuse only one person in the church had my number and that was like 3-4years now, I asked the man how he got my number but claimed I gave him and was asking me I don't remember him again, I replied I don't know him, it must be wrong number. He asked if the name he called was wrong too, I told he called the right name. He said, well! I told him I needed job then whether I still need the job? I answered in the affirmative, he said I should call a number and tell him I am his brother (brother to inspector Ben Yakubu). I called the number he sent to me which belonged to one Commandant James Onoja of Nigerian civil defence commission as they claimed. Before now, the Mr. Ben had told me that Nigerian civil defense corps is employing people but didn't make it public in order not to attract so much applicants so as to avoid what happened in their last recruitment. I called commandant James Onoja he said same thing and added that the employment is due to some ghost workers that were discovered and other persons that will be retired by the end of this month, that I should send my details immediately because people are applying by reference, he asked me what I studied and I told him computer engineering, he said I will work as his PA that I should send the details that my salary is 150k after three months it will be raised; then I knew they are scammers. I sent the details and told him I've sent it and called his accomplice and told him also. The commandant, after few minutes called me and said he has submitted my name to be enrolled but I will have to send 26,000 naira to his secretary for processing, that he will send me the account details immediately; I told him I don't have the money now but I will source for it before non, he accepted and said that the money is for the slot else others persons that pays before me will grab the slot. There, I told him I know what he knows and laughed, he ended the call and never called or picked my calls after then. You all should be careful. These are the numbers they used to contact me. Inspector Ben Yakubu - 0816 658 6393 Commandant James Onoja - 0814 676 7444. Cc: ishilove, lalasticlala. |
One of the communities in Rivers state (Mile 3, Obiakpor etc) where they claim keeping/rearing of female dogs is a sacrilege, yesterday Monday, 27th July beat up a non-indigene male resident whose sister asked to help keep her Rottweiler dog while she travel for few days. The young man lamented that he collected the dog for safekeeping for his sister only for some youths of the community where he resided to come to his house in his absence and beat up his gate man, slaughtered the dog. When he returned and found what happened he quickly rushed the gate man to hospital and arrested two among the boys that perpetrated the evil act, later the said youths invaded his home and destroyed his property and reported him to the community leader who summoned him to his palace and asked him to release the arrested boys before the following morning and fined him one hundred and fifty thousand naira for violating the law of their land. The young man said he has no inkling about the law of no keeping of female dogs in the community when interviewed by people if he knew about the law. The community is now a threat to his life and property as advises from people suggested that he withdraw the case from police and park out of the community in no time. A few others who suggested that he take the case to higher police authority were also confronted with threats and were told that the police cannot do anything, that the community is theirs and not the police's. This is a warning to all the non-indigenes living in Rivers state to be careful and those planning to move to the state. These people are barbaric and heartless, very cruel and devilish. Remember the issue of Oba Akiolu and the South African xenophobia that Nigerians cried and lamented now our own fellow Nigerians are acting worse than these people yet no one will say anything. The worst of it is that these Rivers people acts with so much impunity, as if they are above the law. Rubbish set of barbaric people claiming to be civilized. CC: Ishilove, lalasticlala. |
