Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of superstar singer, Davido reportedly files a counter 102-paragraph affidavit opposing his request for joint custody of their daughter, Imade.

It would be recalled that just days before his traditional wedding, Davido filed a suit seeking joint custody of his daughter, alleging that Sophia was denying him access and extorting money from him.

The singer claimed that although he once had a relationship with Momodu, it ended years ago, and they had agreed to co-parent their child.

However, he alleged that this arrangement had not been honoured, stating that Sophia rejected his house offer and demanded a monthly rent of N5 million, among other things.

In response, Sophia stated that she had an affair with Davido from 2020-2022 while he was dating Chioma. She denied the claims of denying him access to their daughter, Imade, revealing that Davido had never attempted to see her and had abandoned her because she refused to have sex with him.

Recent reports indicate that Sophia has filed a 102-paragraph affidavit to contest Davido’s bid for joint custody. Her legal team filed the affidavit, Dr. Anthony Idigbe SAN of Punuka Attorneys and Dr. Bimpe Ajegbomogun.

The next hearing for the estranged couple is scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024.

According to the ‘What Was I Made For?’ singer, she has over 2,000 unread texts on her phone.

Recall that last year, the 21-year-old pop star revealed that she had more than 1,400 unread texts during an interview with Vanity Fair when asked how she “quiets the noise” surrounding any public discourse about her.

In a recent interview with BBC Sounds presented by Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver., Eilish revealed that the messages have risen to 1,993 and she has yet to open them.

“I have 1,993 unread texts. I want to respond, I want to do whatever somebody is saying or asking of me, and I just don’t. I see it, or sometimes I don’t even see it, but sometimes I see it and I’m like, ‘Hold on, let me do this thing first,’ and then I just never do it,” she explained.

Season actor Prince Jide Kosoko has opened up on how his house turned into a hotel after the death of his late wife.

The actor claimed that after Henrietta passed away, he felt compelled to get married again as his home was slowly becoming a hotel.

The comedic actor remarked in an interview with Punch that he felt horrible about it as a human being when people accused him of using his wives as money rituals.

According to him, he believes God is dealing with Kemi Olunloyo and those who attempted to discredit his reputation.

‘I have been blackmailed many times, but I sailed through. They have called me a ‘ritualist’ before, which means I am a murderer.

Initially, as a human being, I felt bad. But my skin is too thick for all that rubbish. Instead of feeling bad, I will go on my knees and pray to God to give His judgment.

“And I always see these people get their judgment. I don’t want to mention names. I don’t know anything about what is happening to Kemi Olunloyo and I don’t follow her on social media. Apart from her, there are other people who have rubbished my name in the past

“Becoming a polygamist wasn’t my design. With my upbringing, I am not supposed to be a polygamist.

Though my father was a polygamist, he didn’t marry the number of women I have married.

“My first wife, Sola’s mother, was working with the Nigerian Customs Service. She was not involved in my industry and then I would travel for two months.

“So, I was tempted to take a second wife. But unfortunately for me, in the circumstances I cannot explain till today, I lost two wives within a year.

You can imagine that! So, I decided not to remarry again, though I had girlfriends; I was a ladies ’ man.
“Two of my girlfriends were very close to the house and myfriends too would come with their girlfriends.

“So, we were almost turning the house into a brothel. Later, my doctor, a lady, visited me and advised me to remarry.

“She said it was the best for me, insisting that I was too young to be without a woman. I lost my two wives in 1992 and 1993 respectively, and I was not up to 40 then.

“I agreed to take a wife in the long run, but I had two women who were intimate with me – Henrietta and Alhaja Bimbo. Since I couldn’t say no to either of them, I married two wives again.”
