My fiancé’s friend acts like she’s the woman in his life - I worry she's trying to undermine me'

I’m engaged to be married after being with my fiancé for three years and we moved in together last May. We’re both 29 and
felt ready to make these commitments to each other, and it’s very exciting.

However, I have a major issue with a female friend of his, whom he knew before I was on the scene. I truly think she’s trying to undermine our relationship and turn my fiancé against me, but he won’t hear a bad word against her. He admitted to me that he used to fancy her years ago when they first met, but she wasn’t interested in him in a romantic way, although they stayed close friends.

This is the interesting bit – when he told her he’d started dating me, she was really off with him (almost angry, according to him) and then she told him a few days later that she felt more for him than friendship and wanted to give things a go. My fiancé let her down gently and apparently things haven’t been awkward between them since. However, I hate the way she calls him at all hours of the day and night, and doesn’t seem to care that I’m there.

She also arranges things for the two of them to do where I’m not invited. It’s like she’s not even acknowledging me or the fact we’re getting married! What do you think?

Justin Dean, ex-husband of popular Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi has reacted via his Facebook page to news of her being attacked.

The internet personality shared that staged attacks and robberies are common tactics in which celebrities try to stay relevant.

He wrote;

Popular Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake has said that getting a job in Nigeria is tough for those with tattoos on their bodies.

Asake made this claim in an article published in the most recent issue of GQ magazine. He recounted how stereotypes prevented him from working for any organisation or conducting business due to his neck tattoo.

Nancy Umeh, the dancer’s sister, alleged that Obidi was stabbed and attacked with acid.

“Someone has threatened my sister’s life in the UK. They poured acid on my sister’s face, they threatened to stab her all over her body. They have stabbed her on her hands just outside her Airbnb in Westminster, London,” she said via Instagram.

Obidi also took to Instagram to share a video of herself, visibly distressed, and attempting to wash her face with Coca-Cola.

In the footage, two officers could be seen arriving the scene with one treating Obidi’s face with a solution and the other likely administering first aid to her back.

In an accompanying caption, the dancer appealed to the public for help in identifying her attacker.

She also claimed she had been facing online hate previously but stressed that the “physical assault” was a “wake-up call”.

VeryDarkMan, an activist, has promised to become a crossdresser provided transgender Bobrisky is not arrested.

Remember that VeryDarkMan earlier advocated for Bobrisky’s arrest for cross-dressing, stating that he was being shielded by certain influential politicians who happen to be his gay lovers.

Gospel music icon Frank Edwards has put smiles on an 8-year-old girl of a single mother named Raymie Nancie at Moses Bliss’ homecoming concert.

The controversial relationship coach and expert Blessing CEO has warned women about the sexuality of men living in Lagos and Abuja.

Blessing Okoro, who is well-known for her candid remarks and relationship counsel, has said that a sizable portion of the men in these cities identify as homosexual.

Blessing Okoro asserted, in a speech to a group of women at a seminar, that a large number of males in Lagos and Abuja are involved in gay partnerships, with some taking on the dominant “top” role and others adopting the submissive “bottom” posture.

She advised ladies to proceed with care, especially if their lovers unexpectedly become rich, as this could be a sign that their partners are involved in gay activities.

Nigerian lady calls out Nollywood for not treating actors well as she finds legend, Nonso Diobi asking fans for gifts on TikTok live.

She expressed her disappointment at the entire situation via her Tiktok page, @dareal_bl.

The young lady claimed she noticed other actors doing the same but she did not want to speak about it because she believes sometimes, things happen.

However, she had to speak this time around after finding out Nonso Diobi was involved.

She admits that he is her childhood crush and to find him participating in the Tiktok live where people ask fans to tap and gift them was very disappointing.

She claimed Nollywood has failed many actors and urged the organization to fix up and do better.

The Office of the National Security Adviser has called on the Nigerian public and the international community to provide information that can assist law enforcement agencies to apprehend the Executive Manager of Binance for the African region, Mr Nadeem Anjarwalla (a suspect) who escaped detention.

Mr. Zakari Mijinyawa, the Head – Strategic Communication, Office of the National Security Adviser, who made this known on Monday, said a manhunt has been launched for his arrest.

ONSA recalls “that the Federal Government of Nigeria, like other governments around the world, has been investigating money laundering and terrorism financing transactions perpetrated on the Binance currency exchange platform”.

“Until his escape, Nadeem Anjarwalla, who holds British and Kenyan nationalities and serving as Binance’s Africa regional manager, was being tried by Nigerian courts.

“The suspect escaped while under a 14-day remand order by a court in Nigeria. “He was scheduled to appear before the court again on the 4th of April 2024.

Zakari said, “The Office of the National Security Adviser confirms that Nadeem Anjarwalla, a suspect in the ongoing criminal probe into the activities of Binance in Nigeria has escaped from lawful custody on Friday, 22 March 2024.

“Upon receiving this report, this office took immediate steps, in conjunction with relevant security agencies, MDAs, as well as the international community, to apprehend the suspect.

“Security agencies are working with Interpol for an international arrest warrant on Nadeem Anjarwalla, Bianance official.

“Preliminary investigation shows that Mr Anjarwalla fled Nigeria using a smuggled passport.

“The personnel responsible for the custody of the suspect have been arrested, and a thorough investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances that led to his escape from lawful detention.”

Reports said 38-year-old Nadeem Anjarwalla who is detained by Nigerian authorities on allegations of tax evasion and other charges, fled on Friday, from a guest house in Abuja where he and a colleague were being held when security personnel allowed him to visit a nearby mosque for Ramadan prayers.

Anjarwalla, Binance’s Africa regional manager, and Tigran Gambaryan, another Binance executive were said to have been detained upon their arrival in Nigeria on February 26, 2024, resulting in a series of legal actions against them and the cryptocurrency exchange.

Pastor Funke Felix-Adejumo of the Agape Christian Ministries Worldwide has in a recent video educated ladies on how they should act when visiting their in-laws for the first time.

Pastor Funke started by advising ladies to kneel on both legs when greeting their in-laws and wait till they are told to stand up before getting up.

Emphasizing on how decently dressed a lady must be before going to visit her in-laws, she cautioned them not to buy too many gifts on their first visit.

The philanthropist also added that if they must look around the household they should turn their eyes and not their heads.

The reality TV star reacted by saying that it ought to be illegal for a man to ask his wife for a DNA test.

She went on to question why, if a man doesn’t trust a woman, he would marry her in the first place.
