OP
Thanks.

All what you have listed is why I am utterly perplexed at why anyone in his senses will support Buhari, someone whose precedence is the exact opposite of democracy and the rule of law.

At least for OBJ (who I don't really fancy either) one could say he handed over to a civilian president, what excuse can one possibly make for Buhari?

Look at the list of people he incarcerated unjustly, and you will even get more baffled at why the SW is supporting him.
Or is it because the SW has become so islamised that they are losing their basic conscience.

Why can't Buhari a military coupist.

And jihadist.

Stage manage a bombing that will narrowly miss their alleged targets and then get some evil spent politician to whip up sentiments.

APC is the definition of evil.

antartica: Kaduna use to be a very beautiful and moderate city on Nigerian level, but now it is fallen prey to the plague of fundamental that is eating Nigeria from inside out.

A people perish for lack of knowledge. Nigeria is at the verge of desolation,it is almost all over, unless there is a miracle. A divine wind.( kamikaze).

spyder880: Victorciza estates, Enugu. Maybe Goodluck Jonathan will come and commission this one again. Enugu is growing in private property development.
Thank you for the beautiful pictures.

There are so many estates springing up in Enugu.

I have never even heard of this and it is just down the road from where my folks live.

The houses are well finished, with nice roofing.

I also notice the streets are lit, way to go.

eaglechild: lol!
ALL these corolla, civic etc you are seeing.
Must everyone buy Innoson? (Even before they launch there brand)
Why are you so worried when they cannot even remotely meet up with their orders.
Besides how much do you think an almera costs - 2.55m to 2.9 for the base manual and 3.2 for the auto tranny.
That is 2 IVM fox auto tranny.
I thought i told you to stop talking about cars that you know nothing about
ba7man: So why is the cheaper, better loaded car not selling??

The moment Innoson gets it right, it will flood Nigerian streets without Govt patronage.
Please endeavour to read between the lines.

Bye

ba7man: Have you heard of the Smart (owned by Merc)?? Have you heard of the Audi A1??

These cars are priced at low costs you'd never thought you'd ever find their products.

Check lower, you'll find the VW up!, Skoda citi-go, seat Mii. Most of these cars were prepred for their African onslaught.

Just wait until Hyundai starts manufacturing the i-10 in Nigeria.

I hope Innoson will keep up.

Its already happening. Instead of all these Nissan Almeras I'm seeing all over, why not Innoson??

Audi A1 is not an economy car

Smart is not a merc, it is just like calling a Nissan is an infiniti or a Honda an Acura, that is not very smart, pun intended.
Besides have you ever seen a smart fourtwo, a keke will run it over. The fourfour is not cheap.

All the cars you mentioned are still above 1.5million.

Bebetter: Bro, you are really taking this thing personal oh, is your FATHER the owner of innosan motors? abi are you their marketing manager? your stupidity is surely going to get a promotion! don't be an id.iot okay, innosan's so called BRAND NEW CAR cannot be compared to a honda, toyota, bmw, ford, chevy or likes... innosan here is the NOBODY! i'll rather spend my money on a kia or hyundai that can be trusted. Wait let me ask you can innosan motors export their nonsense product to the US or UK market? NEVER! who go buy am. You now want to shove your substandard products to us and expect Nigerians to just accept it like that. It is people like you that think that the average nigerian is un-intelligent, an A-grade toks camry or accord will serve durably, with a longer life span than your new innosan motor. What about maintenance? how available are the parts? what is the resale value after a year or two? ZERO! we've seen the likes of the plastic cars on our road swell like an old shoe and fall apart within a short period.

Who is deceiving who? How can you claim that innosan is the messiah when they have no rival? use your common sense! when MTN first came, they where selling SIM cards for close to 30k! can you imagine... and the service was terrible, now sim cards sell for close to nothing! are you saying that the conditions now are better than they where then or that MTN did not have the resources to sell it low... IT IS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO COMPETITION and they knew there was no other choice. when three or four other companies have come into local assembly or manufacturing of cars then come and talk to me. innosan should be able to sell A BRAND NEW CAR for 1million or 750K at least if they are truly manufacturing for the nigerian market then we'll know you are giving us real value. and before you open your mouth to reply, i push a 2012 lexus RX350 for 3.5mill toks, go and bring your brand new 3.5mill innosan car lets compare value!
lol!

You just comment for the sake of it

How much is Tata nano the world's cheapest box car.
Car TalkRe: Innoson To Roll Out N1.5m Cars by eaglechild: 6:39pm On Jul 22, 2014
ba7man: It seems you must be a staff of Innoson with how these criticisms are getting to you.

Anyways, global car companies are already planning on cars introducing cut price city cars. Into the African market eg Tata, Suzuki , merc, Audi, Seat, Vw, etc.

I hope Innoson's offer is adequate to withstand the upcoming onslaught. If you have access to their board, tell them to study cars like the VW up!
Hope you are not talking about those killer econo boxes like suzuki alto and tata nano, cause Innoson is way way better.

Which merc or Audi is cut price?
Pls those are luxury brands that have a niche and do not compromise.

You obviously know nothing about cars.

It will soon become the regional (West/Central Africa) automobile supplier.

Nice try but ..................

Car TalkRe: The Best Of IVM Motors (Innoson Motors) by eaglechild:
If anyone wishes to know the prices of IVM vehicles.

Simply go to the company website and request a price quote.

If you visit Nissan Nigeria or Toyota Nigeria website, the prices are not listed, you must request a price quote which will be sent to your email.

This is different from Nissan or Toyota USA.

I suspect the reason for this is to avoid any disparities arising from fluctuating market prices.

If either baba-no-regret a.k.a Obasanjo or the evil nonentity called IBB has started this policy, Nigeria would have been exporting cars to Europe before now.
It is already yielding dividends.

I must say that this is one policy that GEJ got right.

It has created an unprecedented boom in the local automobile industry.

With jobs being created (up to 7,500) by Innoson alone.

Peugeot, Innoson, Nissan, ANAMCO, Coscharis, etc now Shacman are coming back to life.

This is genuine fresh air, and we must not allow Boko/supporter of APC to pollute it.
CultureRe: Any Regret Not Knowing How To Speak Your Dialect? by eaglechild: 7:31am On Jul 22, 2014
eddyland: Truly I like languages very well and I thank God that my parents spoke my monther tongue to me while I was growing up, making me fluent in my dialect. In addition to my dialect wich is Igbo, I learnt Hausa and can speak that too.

I even need more, so I even learnt French and can speak it moderately. I am just happy that I know how to speak them especially my own dialect.

But I know that generations of these days, many don't even know how to speak their dialect at all, as result of being brought up by Turenci (hausa word for English) parents. Parents that only blow grammar to their kids, thereby making them incapable of flowing their dialect.

To me I feel that those that cannot speak their dialect are seriously missing in actions. Not even the amebo that most people like doing these day that they can participate on in public discussions.

The funniest thing is that some of them that even claimed that knowing how to speak only English has help them get fluent in English, but together with the local dialects that I can speak, I can even still blow the English grammar more than many of them, indicating that knowing your dialect and other ones has nothing to do with knowing or not knowing how to speak English.

So for those that falls into the category of not being able to blow your dialect, especially the so called Aje butters, are you having any regrets for that?
Cha cha cha cha cha....,.Ndi Igbo kwenu! So una see say I tite for my language? Proudly Igbo come rain come sunshine...even though I knew quite alright that it was not a choice for me to make in determing which ethnic group I want to be born into but by chance. If given the choice or power to choose, I will definitely choose Igbo again and again and again.

Nice write up, however, your language NOT DIALECT is Igbo.

Your dialect is a variant of your main language.
Eg Onitsha Igbo.
TV/MoviesRe: The Wild Wild East- The Brigandry In The Eastern Nigeria Film Industry by eaglechild: 7:28am On Jul 22, 2014
lynx200: I was at a film makers conference in Awka, Anambra state on Saturday and what I heard there about film making shocked me. For starters the various guilds of film practitioners in Eastern Nigeria usually disrupt film shoots if they find out that any of the artistes, directors, producers or crew men are not members of their local chapter of the guilds. They go to the extent of being violent and involving the police. At times the guild top men dictate what artistes should be on a directors set. Nothing of such happens in the other parts of the country and the funny thing is that the guilds are not legally sanctioned to do this so it can be legally termed harassment. Read the full article here http://www.jovibabs.com/the-wild-wild-east/

Please note that this is an opportunity for frank discussion and not tribal bashing so I will not tolerate any ethnic jingoism here.
No need for the bolded statement.

It just makes your hypocrisy all the more obvious.

When you say "wild wild east" what do you expect.
