CFCfan: I don't support that at all. The main reason why the BH menace seems intractable is that the Nigerian military, intelligence agencies and police are largely operating as if they are still in the 1970s. The spate of bombings could have been minimised if intelligence gathering is greatly improved.

A military coup will not be the magic bullet that will solve the insecurity problem. I'd prefer that the current civilian system be nurtured and improved to handle the challenges of 21st century Nigeria.
