Blackteeth: What sort of crazy conclusion is that? Is your ability to withstand tough times which will come up when you eventually get married the way to determine who is intelligent or will make a good house wife?
Dont you realise how thick the skull you have been trying to drive your point through is?
Save your breath she is challenged and cannot understand you.

PoliticsRe: Abeokuta Gets First Flyover Bridge! by eaglechild: 10:42pm On Jan 26, 2013
Gbawe: Abeg, help me tell dem. Some people don't even realise the negative image of themselves they portray to others with their antics here. Their writing only show inferiority complex, insecurity and an unhealthy 24/7 obsession with others. I don't know what concerns Akwa Ibom with this thread and I don't know the sort of bad belle that will not allow some to simply and graciously leave others to celebrate a positive achievement, whichever way one looks at it, in a State and region they live in/use or are affiliated with.
By eulogizing a governor for building a 400m bridge, u are unwittingly fuelling mediocrity and corruption.
It's got nothing to do with any complex.
He is just performing his constitutional duty.
PoliticsRe: Abeokuta Gets First Flyover Bridge! by eaglechild: 9:26pm On Jan 25, 2013
Josh090: Wait, are you saying there's also a fly over being constructed in enugu presently or recently?
Let's try and reason with our heads for a second, your next door neighbour bought a new car and feels like throwing a party, why shld u go to the party to tell dem your boss has a car too? Common ppl don't go abt life like this!!
So fly over is now your most coveted human infrastructure and the major yard stick for assessing human development.
Pls i hate to blow anyone's trumpet but the road constructed through Akwata hill and valley will build 3 of Amosu's flyovers.
PoliticsRe: Abeokuta Gets First Flyover Bridge! by eaglechild: 9:19pm On Jan 25, 2013
dayokanu: You are senseless You know why?

Whats the allocation of Akwa Ibom and whats the allocation of Ogun.

If you want to make a comparison, Compare Akwa Ibom to Rivers, Bayelsa or Delta fellow oil producing states

And you carried your senselessness further comparing Enugu with Abeokuta. Since when has Enugu beome a capital. if you must know Enugu has been a capital for over 60yrs.

Why not compare Enugu with its peers like Kaduna and Ibadan other first republic regional capital and put your useless Enugu to shame
Pls if u dont have info quit exposing yourself.
I simply compared the allocation being received by Enugu vs Ogun.
FYI virtually every road in Enugu today was reconstructed in the past 8 years.
And ur brain conviniently forgot to tell u that Enugu was virtually destroyed post civil war and was rebuilt afterwards barely 40yrs ago and u are here telling me it's been capital for over 60yrs unlike Abeokuta.
Ogun was created in the 70's when Enugu was still in rubbles so why should i not compare the two.
Pls remove ur bigotted googles.
PoliticsRe: Abeokuta Gets First Flyover Bridge! by eaglechild: 3:51pm On Jan 25, 2013
newacca: This will be the first bridge to be constructed in the entire state since its creation in 1976.

U are wrong! This first to be constructed with state govt fund. The first fly over bridge was created in Sango by Fed.Govt facilitated by Baba Obansanjo.

God bless Gov.Amosun
God Bless Ogun State
This thread is outright depressing and shameful.
To be sincere a state like Ogun with its close proximity to Lagos is primitive and backwards.
How can one be rejoicing over a 500m flyover.
What do u want those in Uyo to do, perhaps to mould a graven image of Akpabio and worship it.
Even Enugu receives a smaller allocation and is achieving a lot more.
Pls pple shld learn how to stop eulogizing our leaders senselessly.
EducationRe: Who Is To Blame For The Rot In Our Education System? by eaglechild: 2:44pm On Jan 21, 2013
1. Quota system
Whereby Aminu who scored 200 will be admitted in the place of Ngozi who scored 250 therefore less qualified students are admitted, lowering the standards.
2. State employment policies
Seun cannot easily secure a job in Katsina, unless he changes his name to Musa, even when Katsina is in dire need of teachers.
3. Islamic schools
Will teach u how to recite the Quran off hand but how will this benefit the society at large?

PoliticsRe: Obi Promises N5m For Information On Bodies In Ezu River by eaglechild: 4:28am On Jan 21, 2013
GARRI (x7):
Like some posters have stated, an autopsy to determine the actual circumstances surrounding the deaths ought to be the first step.

Waving 5m to people to lure them to volunteer information is an intellectually lazy approach..
Why did u chose to reason with only one of your cerebral hemispheres?
Does offering 5m for information mean that other investigation into the matter has been grounded?
Offering reward for info is standard practice the worldover.
Sorry but u sound incredibly stewpid.
CrimeRe: Dead Bodies Found Floating On Anambra River by eaglechild: 4:13am On Jan 21, 2013
The simplest explanation is a capsized boat with bodies washed up later.
logica: Hahahaha...after all I said.

OK once again you need lessons and I have a bit of time to teach you.

Firstly, killing by strangulation is not just an unpleasant way to die; the experience will also be unpleasant for the would be killer except:

1. He genuinely hates the victim; it is personal.
2. He is a sadistic killer.

To kill by strangulation requires being in close quarters with the victim unlike shooting with a gun which sort of makes the killing less personal.

Given the option of strangling or shooting, I can bet you Nigerian policemen would settle for the latter. While I know several of them could be sadists, I don't think they have the kind of patience to kill by strangulation.

Mind you, strangulation also requires the killer to be strong and patient. The killing is tedious and I do not expect anybody to have that kind of patience to wait for several minutes as the victims struggles till he dies. Now multiply that by the number of victims. Thirty?

If you insist, I will tell you the most likely killers were kidnappers. These may be victims kept for long in a camp; and the kidnappers for whatever reason decided to do away with them. I am sure kidnappers have no scruples and will murder people in anyway they decide to (including poisoning, drugs, strangulation...)
CrimeRe: Dead Bodies Found Floating On Anambra River by eaglechild: 5:02pm On Jan 20, 2013
If a boat capsizes along the river Niger, the victims may float to any of its tributaries of which this river is one.
Pls lets use our common sense before we start blaming unseen forces.

As if they invested in Lagos to simply develop Lagos and not to make money! Waste men! What about all the "mama, we dey go Lagos"?! Is that to invest in Lagos?!!!

Guy, please SHUT THE EFF UP!
WOW!
Slow down Joson.
U obviously suffer from some sort of selective amnesia.
Lagos was the capital of the country for a long time.
And if u yap from now till kingdom come, it does not change the fact that it IS the country's collective resources that built Lagos and IS sustaining it.
Tmr some eejit will wake up and start ranting on how Abuja does not need oil.
Or are u saying it is SW that built Lagos and then conviniently chose to/ lacked the mental or financial capability to convert relic Ibadan , Osogbo etc to boom cities?

Car TalkRe: Nigerians Only Japanese Vehicles Mentality Syndrome by eaglechild: 1:21pm On Jan 11, 2013
Nigerians choose Japanese cars because they are generally cheaper and easier to maintain.
However, over time the Japanese car industry has continuously improved.
If you visit any car ranking site, u'll see that the japs get very good reviews and often top the category.
When it comes to reliabilty and running costs the japs do well, and for Nigeria these 2 parameters are very important.
European cars tend to be better in ride quality and so will often take the cake in the luxury category.
Japanese cars also have different specs for the various countries they import to.
An American spec jap has an arguably similar build quality with the European brands.
