Eko Ile: Who cares about your investments? Just keep our state clean, that's all we ask and don't make Fashola show up again to lock that place up for good...
They just carried on the way they met it. I think now Fashola is trying to change things a bit by deyorobarizing(cleaning up) Ladipo.
That is a good move.
PoliticsRe: Fashola And Rochas Okorocha Visit Ladipo Market. Pics.. by eaglechild: 6:35am On Mar 08, 2013
I think Fashola is actually doing something good by trying to clean up the market.
He should provide a sustainable way of doing it so that the exercise will be permanent.

Magnetic words include Fashola, Lagos and Igbo traders.
PoliticsRe: Arrests In Enugu For The Killing Of Kwara CP. by eaglechild: 9:13am On Mar 05, 2013
andyanders: Enugu, is very notorious for robbery kidnapping and all forms of crime. Let the Police keep arresting any of them because they know themselves and cannot point out those responsible because almost every member of their families are into crime.
Where do u live?
Do u know the meaning of VERY and NOTORIOUS or they just sound sweet to your ears.
PoliticsRe: Chime Flown Abroad Again On Medical Grounds by eaglechild: 5:51am On Mar 04, 2013
TheBookWorm: I think it is very selfish of a politician to want to hold onto power even when their health is failing. Governor Chime main concern should be his health first and foremost. If he cannot govern his state due to poor health, he should step down and allow his deputy to take over the reigns of government. This peculiar problem of politicians refusing to relinquish power even when they are terminally ill seems to impact many African politicians. Just look at Robert Mugabe who seems like he would rather die in office than give up the presidency. However, godspeed to Governor Chime as he battles his ailment.
On what basiis is your dull brain comparing Chime an elected gov yet to complete his tenure to Mugabe a political tyrant.
Pls go back to sleep and clear your head before typing again.
If u want comparisons look at Ariel Sharon and Hilary Clinton.
Ariel is typical Chime scenario.

babapupa: How many of the rotten federal roads in Lagos have streetlights talk less the ones powered by your 419 newspaper kabukabu transformer...

These hopeless joker sef...
If your governor only deemed it necessary to put street light on Ikorodu road now after many years of governance i think he should be impeached.
PoliticsRe: Fitch Raises Outlook On Lagos To Positive by eaglechild: 6:26am On Feb 28, 2013
take dat: Waiting for the adulators, who listed Fitch's credit rating of Nigeria, from stable to positive as an achievement of GEJ, to also congratulate Fashola!
Never knew Lagos was an independent country inside Nigeria.
Your statement clearly shows that Nigeria which Lagos is part of was upgraded to positive frm stable.
Soon this thread will be overrun by eko oni ogbanje! bleaters.
PoliticsRe: Three Power Sub-stations Installed In Lagos by eaglechild: 6:19am On Feb 28, 2013
shymexx: Perhaps, you don't understand my sentiment...

I was alluding to the fact that there's nothing to celebrate in the extra 45MVA added since the designated areas still require more...

I know what substations are..
Really?
But u had no problem getting orrgasms from streetlights hung on Ikorodu road yet providing the source to power your 'world wonder' Ikorodu lights and a lot more is now mediocre.
You are an award winning bigot.

PROUD-IGBO:
^^^Ikengawo, not so fast mate! Chima is spot on in his analysis; and besides those pics you posted of Enugu are from a few years back when it was clean and the roads fairly new and swept daily; also i'm getting sick and tired of peeps showing only pics of independence layout and GRA whenever anyone wants to talk of Chimes' good governance, as if independence layout and GRA are the sum total of the whole Enugu metropolis!

Going by the video i posted yesterday, i'll score the state gov't/ESWAMA 25% (this is for cleanliness and appearance of the state capital).
God bless you!
I keep saying same on this forum.
Enugu can be so much better.
It is a very well planned city, which doesnt need so much to keep it spotless.
Have you driven down lower Presidential road?
It has apparently 'NEVER' been swept because grass is growing by the kerb right in the middle of the road!
Yet ESWAMA is putting new refuse collectors.
What does it take to sweep street roads with thousands of unemployed citizens roaming about.
Even for the few roads that are swept, work starts anytime from 10am.
hmmm.

Does the LGA have a chairman?
I see many brand new buses in Enugu with 'education' and the name of different LGAs written on them.
I wonder how much those buses cost and of what use they are?
Christianity EtcRe: When Happiness Intoxicates By Pastor Adeboye by eaglechild: 4:17pm On Feb 25, 2013
vislabraye: The context in which he speaks is correct. Many people have indulged in excesses that led to their untimely death.

I was told of a man who went to the beach with some friends. After drinking several rounds of beer, he decided to sleep with a prostitute. He was so intoxicated that he didn't wear condom. After the sex, he realized himself. But it was too late. HE ENDED UP WITH HIV AND DIED.
You make it sound like 'the HIV' killed him before he got home from the beach.
