This is a biography many Nigerians can relate to.
The background of the president and his wife puts them in a position to view life from the perspective of the middle class Nigerian.

IslamRe: Non-alcoholic Beer For Muslims, Is It Haram? by eaglechild: 10:55am On Jan 05, 2013
ola_pluto: Like I pointed out earlier, and someone is pointing out again. Maltina, Malta guiness, etc are all BEERS!!! They are however non-alcoholic. So is Maltina haram?
Malt drinks are not beers.
They are non alcoholic brews.
The term non alcoholic beer is a misnomer.
Beer by definition is alcoholic just like wine.

Gabriel_sylar: widowsssssssssssssssssssssss wat killed 1000 men
Dont see it that way.
Remember that it's one man 4 wives so the death of one man creates 4 widows.
It will take the death of about 200 men to create 1000 widows.

Car TalkRe: Five New Cars To Buy In 2013 by eaglechild: 6:52pm On Jan 04, 2013
Brand_new: Muchechecheceh! What's the basis of your argument nau?
Every reasonable Nairalander knows it's suicidal to put a car like the Avantador on the Pot hole ridden Nigerian roads.
Most of the other cars OP posted are okay but a super car will always be a super car and the makers did not have Nigerian roads in mind when making them. One of the reasons why SUV's like the Range Rover has enjoyed so much patronage is Nigeria because of it's ruggedness and durability and they don't even come cheap.

Oya rant again. ODE!
Go easy on him please, he seems to have some sort of mental challange.

maclatunji: Hanhan, what kind of bad idea is this? There are more popular and capable candidates than this lady. What experience of governance does she have apart from being Asiwaju Bola Tinubu's wife and being foisted on people as a Senator?

Can she win a Ward election without her husband's political machinery? We Nigerians have lost it. 4 days into 2013, people have started campaigning for 2015. You can be sure nothing significant will be done this year by these politicians.

Shame on all of them and some of us the citizens who can't see and think beyond their greek gifts.
In other words you are trying to say that she rigged her way into the senate and the whole ACN set up is a charade.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina while parading the suspect, Chief Hosea Folorunsho, at the state command headquarters, Lokoja-the state capital, disclosed that on the 31st of December 2012, the herbalist killed his son for alleged ritual.
Narrating the police investigation, the police boss, Mr Katsina disclosed that on the New Year’s Eve, at about 11:55PM, the suspect quietly took the baby named Sunday Folorunsho who was asleep in the middle of the night and murdered him in gruesome circumstances.
He added that having accomplished his mission, the suspect dug a shallow grave in his compound and hurriedly buried the corps of the baby.

I think they should be burnt along with the refuse if possible.
Wonder why people dont realise that sanitation is not child's play.

IslamRe: Non-alcoholic Beer For Muslims, Is It Haram? by eaglechild: 10:22am On Jan 03, 2013
ola_pluto: I strongly disagree with both of you sirs.
1. There are non-alcoholic wines with 0.0% alcohol in it. There are also beers with 0.0% alcohol. Maltina is a type of beer. For a list of non alcoholic beers and wine on sale, check this website: http://alcoholfree.co.uk/.
2. Oga Sunnymoore, am sorry you have no jurisdiction to speak for Islam.
Pls refer to a standard English dictionary.
Non alcoholic wine does not exist.
If it has no alcohol it is called juice.
