I guess you have no clue how NCDC operate. You asked a question: why didnt they visit the address? It is NCDC style to come carry victim to isolation after having certified positive. They must have visited her before announcing her identity. She has ran away, probably she has been feeling sickly of symptoms associated to the virus.

Someone said even though one is positive, they will still call and ask if you want them to come and pick you or not, your answer will tell them their next line of action.

They just made life worse off for her. Not every covid case needs to be admitted.
Young and fit people with no risk factors should stay home, drink plenty of fluids, use ibuprofen and be managed from home.
Call them everyday to see how they are feeling.
Otherwise bed spaces can never be enough

this is the truth they are hiding from people, most of the cases in the isolation centres are just with mild symptoms, people should be educated on how to handle mild cases at home and then y they need to self isolate, the isolation centres should be for emergencies.

Also all staff should come with their covid 19 certified results from NCDC to prevent an upsurge.

Nothing like narrow escape bros, with proper care and paying attentions to detailed signs and symptoms from the patients by the caregivers, the virus can be dealt with hands down, unless people have compromised immunities and the aged ones.

No treatment for the virus itself, all you have is supportive treatment that takes care of the signs and symptoms that show up during the cause of the ailment, since the virus itself is self limiting and the symptoms are taken care of those periods then the person recovers. Please stay safe

it incubation period in the body is 2-14 days, depending on your immune system some might start seeing signs at day 5 while others will remain asymptomatic till day 14 but within this period they could spread the virus to people they come in contact with who don't observe the standard procedure of prevention. About the killing part, if you showed sign quickly go for testing to know if its actually covid-19 and then call the ncdc toll free line or if you could make your way there without coming in contact with anyone to prevent further spread that also will be OK that will prevent death but people with compromised immunity have a higher chance of mortality because of underlining ailment, recent study has also shown that the virus could stay up to 37 days in the human body that is typical in what we saw in atiku's son case. But in all please stay safe and if anyone is showing signs which people hardly want others to know just encourage the person to go for testing, covid-19 is not a death sentence, people have been infected and they recovered.
