Izuchukwu18:Lol. I guess you're new. Don't allow the Walemoney clown deceive you. Dude is the alternate moniker of Ijoh. ![]() Let me educate you. Any moniker you see in any Ijaw thread agreeing with the landgrab of their suppose ethnic group is Ijo. |
Ijoh:I applaud your efforts to find meanings to the name even when it shows no correlation. Worst off, there are no Okrika language translator app on Google to find the meanings in their language. |
Ijoh:Clown. Get an education and stop behaving like a militant. Read the Facebook screenshot by Allen your brother and tell me the meaning in your Delta Izon language. Belema doesn't relate with the topic. Belema is not the topic but let me digress a little. If Nembe and Brass have any links to those names like Oputibeya, then we aren't surprised as they had affinity with the Igbo hinterlanders as well. Allen, all in a quest to win argument went on nailing himself more. Those names below claimed by Ijaws have no meaning in your language. But can be interpreted even in the farthest Igbo village. Now tell me the meaning in your Delta Izon language.
|
Allen102:It means nothing in Izon language. Before you disgrace yourself openly again. Only Riverine tribes with close affinity with Igbos such as Bonny, Okrika, Kalabari etc bear those names. Those names despite their dialectical difference and spelling are quite popular even in the farthest of Igboland. There's no Izon in Delta where you hail from that can tell us the meaning. I know Ijaws are land grabbers but it never occur to me that you’ve become culture grabbers as well. If in doubt search on Google translate or go further to Facebook to get educated. |
BKayy:I know. I doubt he owns a house of his. Na batcha the dude dey habitate for waterside. Who dash am house. |
Allen102:Digging your previous post will damage your reputation which might make you bury this your old nairaland handle. I love the Allen handle as its show a dull person underneath it. ![]() |
Ekealterego:Exactly. The ethnic make up of Okrika, Kalabari, Bonny, Brass and Opobo saw a lot of changes after the massive influx of Izo migrants. From historical records, their Igbo ancestors came first from the hinterland but due to the certain factors like population pressure of the Ijaw migrants, the people began to move towards Ijo. Kalabari saw a large Ijaw influx and used her power to subdue Okrika. Okrika lost their language to Kalabari, but Bonny retained their Ndoki language. Now in the old eastern region, no one went about trying to force these people to accept Igbo. Infact the NCNC government promoted the Kalabari language which became the 2nd most spoken language after Igbo in the Niger-Delta. Cardinal Rex Lawson is an example of this hybrid nature as he sang in both Kalabari and Igbo. Hilda Dokubo is another example and a host of others. Each of the above groups went by their ethnic name. Bonny went by Bonny, Kalabari answered their name, Degema the same, Okrika the same down to Andoni. Nothing like Ijaw ethnic group. Their hybrid culture was accepted by the Okpara led government. But immedietely the Ijos took charge of old Rivers state as war booty, a lot began to change. From going all out to remove the Igbo vestige in P/H, they went about massive change of identity of these Riverine groups to Ijaws. |
BKayy:Lol! Dude has become another JuliusMalema. He keeps scoring own goals ![]() |
Allen102:You are not from Okrika. I thought you claimed Opobo before? Haven't you also claimed Bonny? Imposter. You forget yourself easily ![]() |
Allen102:You just finished your case. All the names you listed are Igbo names. Oputaibeya - An Igbo word for a person with a big heart to help his mates. It's different from Okpu - an Igbo word for head gear or cap. Like Okpuobo or Opubo which becomes Opobo. Opuogulaya - Opuogalanya or Opuogaranya. A special cap for a wealthy man.

BKayy:They know the truth, especially the older generation. But the younger generation keep getting brainwashed by INC/IYC agents. |
BKayy:I could only save these screenshot after a dude posted it on a nairaland thread. I believe there's more to it. The event in question happened last year. Below is the name of the group.

When someone posted this screenshot some months ago, Captain and the rest Ijaw goons couldn't explain a thing. The Ijaw INC fifth columnist in Wakrike Facebook group keep instigating anti-Igbo hate claiming Okrika to brainwash the people. But as God will have it, the agenda back fired one lucky day. Captain aka Theist were you the one that wrote this rubbish up there? What will you guys gain spreading anti-Igbo propaganda in Rivers groups? Imagine someone wake up one morning to post the below trash while maquerading as Okrika. Had the below lady not stood up to counter the false Ijaw narrative, the rest members would have seen it as truth. This is how these clowns keep downplaying the Okrika people Igbo heritage every given opportunity not until their hands got burnt this fateful day.

Ikology:The leadership in Igboland is appaling. Any wonder any illiterate can rise from hell to come use Biafra to hoodwink our people. Igboland began to witness leadership vacuum the moment Zik died in 1996. Ekwueme would have become that person due his education and influence as a former VP, but his lillyputian dullness made him loss his value. Sam Mbakwe had ill health to contend with and couldn't do much. Okadigbo the next big thing lost out due to his being used by Obasanjo to remove his own brother Evan Ewerem from the Senate. And when he needed Igbo support in his bid to become VP with ANPP, his enemies make sure he never succeded. Ndigbo needs a modern Zik. A towering political figure that will put his people first. Not a Zik that is Nigeriacentric. But one who put Igbo interest as the centrepiece just as Buhari is doing for his Fulani and Tinubu for the Yoruba's. |
FreedomArmy:Daft reply. I guess IPOB used taqqiya to deceive Ndigbo. So who are the ESN/UGM thugs enforcing the sit-at-home orders? The good thing is that people have seen behind your shenanigan and have begin to beat up all the thugs you sent to them. The one that happened in Imo recently, is a wake up call. |
Ikology:I think the woman's illness has gotten to the part 2 stage. Pity she couldn't receive her dialysis during the meaningless sit-at-home. Right from 2014, I never kept speaking up about IPOB plans to destroy Ndigbo mentally, socially, economically and politically. MASSOB which is IPOB big brother practised a lesser version of what you see today, but was beaten by sucessive federal and eastern government. Although, you might say extra-judicial killings was used, and that's wrong. Both IPOB and all pro-Biafran agitators was never sponsored by Igbo elites. Forget the hands of Jacob and voice of Esau (Forget the Uwazuruike and Kanu, look behind the veil to see the real sponsors). These group had outside influence that grew gradually in Igboland. And because Ndigbo had no leader in the person of Zik, the political lightweights who called themselves Igbo leaders (Ojukwu, Ekwueme, Nzeribe, Kalu etc), who were at the helms of affairs from 1999 allowed a daftish group destroy all what our father's built from 1970 till 1999. |
Going forward, I see Ruben Loftus-Cheek take the slot of Saul, Ziyech and Mount in the midfield pecking order. |
How this thread managed to turn turpsy-turvy by IPOB and Ijaw republic e-warrors still remains a mystery. Why drag secessionist agenda into every historical exercise that will elevate learning. |
Great one. Eko O Ni Gbaje O. I also noticed another internal rail work ongoing in Awolowo road Ikeja. I guess all these interconnected railways in Lagos is the masterplan laid down by Jakande. That of the Lagos-Ibadan rail that connects Iddo, and Apapa is ongoing and some completed. While that started by Fashola from Marina to Badagry might be operational from next year looking at the speed of work in that axis. I once told my elder brother that I see the federal government connecting Lekki with the coastal railways with plans to use the rail Marina section and drive all through Victoria Island to Epe down to Warri, Benin, Asaba, Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri, P/H to Calabar. If all these railways projects can be completed in time (but trust bureaucracy), Lagos might end up as the biggest metropolis in Africa competing only with itself. |
This kind careless match. Is Niguel Saul truly the player that came from Atletico Madrid? Thank God its just a loan. I'll give it up for Aston Villa. |
The Chiejina sisters of that year. Ann Chiejina our top keeper. Not forgetting Mercy Akide top striker. Kikelomo Ajayi rugged defender. Mercy Mbachu senior midfielder. And the rest ladies. |
Great thread. Only that the thread revolves only on missionary activities. You might want to post about the Lander brothers when they landed in Aboh and were arrested by the Obi. |
BKayy:Sorry bro. But all you wrote up there are unfounded claims. Stop brainwashing folks with stories that are not true. And give Zik his respect. He did a whole lot for Ndigbo far better than anyone dead or alive. |
Truth be told. PMB did far better than GEJ in the South. While Jonathan was busy signing projects that never got completed and some only on paper, Buhari’s own is visible. Of course he might be tribalistic and nepotistic with his appointments, but he did well. |
Arewa youths lol! As if we send Emefiele . Let those who benefitted from his schemes defend him. A man who empowered so many aboki’s by turning many into overnight millionaires with illegal forex trade should enjoy his baptism. I, my family and region never benefitted from Emefiele’s tenure as CBN Governor unlike when Soludo was there. As least Soludo’s bank revolution gave my elder sis a job in the bank. Emefiele Ika people should tell us what he did for them. |
Fahdiga:But you tacitly support them. You carry PDP for head forget your senses. Forgetting that you lots will suffer it when your region becomes another North East. Onye eri reri. |
Righteousness2:Why must you choose bad events to preach the gospel? Any religion that uses fear to evangelize to unbelievers is not worth following, don't you think so? Read the Bible and show me where Jesus used tragedy to win believers? |
BiafraInc:IPOB animal. There's no single day you clowns won't rush to drag Ndigbo into a thread started by others. This is what you get when illiterates and unemployed miscreants become spokesman of an ethnic group. |
Abohboy:I believe so. Politicians are the ones funding the destruction of the South East. Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa and their IPOB unknown gunmen are simply tools used to achieve that aim. |
