I, like many Igbo nationalists here, was there at the beginning to the end of that thread. Of course I was under different moniker then.

Because it would appear some of you are attributing the ground work of Igbo nationalists who went all over Nigerian forums, from Nigeriavillagesquare of those days, to bestnaijaforum, etc that held sway before nairaland took over, preaching the gospel of true extent of Igboland and arguing for Igbo only Biafra without Minorities, especially Ijaws, to MNK.

MNK only arrived to the scene in 2014 or thereabouts and only became active in 2015 following Buhari lack of tact.

And I can tell you that all MNK did was put a stop to the pan Igbo nationalism movement that was beginning to take hold then and replaced it with Babelian Biafra of "two wrapper" wearing tribes. MNK and IPOB only succeeded in derailing the pan Igbo nationalistic movement that was gathering pace, and replaced it with a shameful era of unity begging to minorities.

The only good to come out this now drawing to end MNK era, is that,many Igbos youths who know nothing about history of Ndiigbo and minorities in the East, were exposed to Igbophobia of minorities and now understand better why Igbo nationalists who are guided by history, insisted on Igbo only Biafra from the beginning.

So to an extent, MNK played a big role in this our struggle,but then his role must be put in the right context.

Please quit that IPOB attitude. So anyone who does not agrees with you suddenly becomes an

I see it as a one man show. Your movement does not elevate us politically, socially or economically. Unlike the Ijaw INC or Arewa Youths, IPOB cannot point one influential impact it has bequeated on Ndigbo. Since IPOB came from the dark name one growth Igbos have seen. I saw holes in Kanu right from 2014 and knew his motive was political and not sincere. If I never bought the ideals of MASSOB is it Kanu I'll listen to. I might be young but I'm not easily cajoled to follow someone sheepishly. IPOB as far as I'm concerned has nothing to offer Ndigbo but disaster and stupidity. The earlier Ndigbo throw them and their one-sided views into the dustbin the better for us.

One day, we will sit down and talk about the genocide Adaka Boro and his Ijaw people from Ghana committed against the Igbos of Bonny and Opobo.
This is why a multi ethnic BIAFRA with Ijaws and other minorities is strongly opposed by well learned Igbos, because such an arrangement will prevent us from serving out full justice to these unrepentant minorities who rode on the back of Hausa-Fulani to decimate Igboland.

We will continue to insist on Igbo only Biafra. Because we have lots of score to settle at the appropriate time with these people.

But remember that we all witnessed MASSOB and Igbo territory was not their concern. The first person to break the barrier of Southern Nigeria being the barrier of Igbo land is MNK when he brought Umuezekoha of Benue state to peoples awareness. He made Ubani, Igwe nga/Opobo and Igwe Ocha/Port Harcourt a jingle although Port Harcourt never worked out.

IPOB is focused on things that have less affects on Ndigbo.

For me I’m a realist. And I believe we are faced with a lot of distractions that the Biafran struggle has blinded us to see. We’ve been relegated in every sphere in this country. Partly by government and largely by our own attitudes to fight battles that isn't our business. We never put our interest first that’s why we’ve become the laughing stock in PDP. We need a group like the INC or Great Benin Descendants in Igboland. One who's focus is fighting for everything Igbo interest in Nigeria. Territorially, culturally and politically. Not Ohaneze and not IPOB/MASSOB.

Igbo were the first to live in Bonny Island. The Europeans recorded them as dealing in Salt and other commodities before the slave trade era.

I even wrote one of my first thread on Bonny/Opobo Nairaland when I joined in 2015. It was a fall out of threads which gave false information from 2006 up till 2015 by the likes of Tonye and other INC/IYC guys. However other Igbo dudes with less information tried to correct that false information. There was also thread about Okrika too whom the Ijaws lied never spoke Igbo until one old Okrika Nairalander was invited and his comments was a shocker. Most of these threads are on the Culture and Travel section and some in Politics. Nairaland lost most of them during the hacking of 2015 but many still remained. Search the keywords on Google and attach Nairaland to it and you’ll see the threads.

You can also keep time to check outdated Forums like Naijabestforum and Nigeria Village Square to see old topics on Bonny/Opobo. You’ll also see argument on Ika Igbo origin and a lot of other Igbo tribes with identity crisis.

pepple is a distortion of perekule just as opobo is a distortion of opubo, and jaja is to jubo jubogha the whitemen couldn't pronounce those names so they change it to what they can pronounce

The Fubara by King Pepple’s son has nothing to do with Ijaw. Ijos might have their Ibifubara or something that sounds Portuguese but Fubara is Bonny originated.
The same with Pepple. We’ve already shown the origin of Pepple which comes from Pepper and that alone has busted all lies.

By the bolded I suppose you meant the ‘We South-South’ the mantra Ijaw nationalist used when they want other south-south tribes to fight Ijaw battle. And when it's time to share the booty like the amnesty program it becomes an only Ijaw affair. What is the difference between your pattern and the Fulani who uses the term Hausa/Fulani when it involves Fulani agenda. At least the Fulani use Hausa to fight but and share the booth alone when victory is won. But luckily the Hausa’s are gradually becoming smart just like the Itshekiri, Benin, Ikwerre, Urhobo and Efik/Ibibio you used to fight Igbos in the past.

Pere is King in Ijaw, Amayanabo has Igbo roots same for Opubo.

Yeah, there might be Ijaw borrowed words here and there but Bonny and Opobo language and culture is heavily Portuguese / British influenced. Igbo despite all the foreign onslaught still remains the language spoken till this day.

All old and modern history about Bonny/Opobo have always recognized their Igbo identity. Even Chinua Achebe wrote about these people in Things Fall Apart when as those who worked as interpreters to the British colonialist. They used Ikem for me in their Ubani dialect and the people of Umuofia laughed at them as it meant backside in Umuofia.

When Archbishop Ajayi Crowther was spreading the missionary activity in Igboland, the first Igbo Bible was compiled in Bonny. Saint Stephen church was the first church the mass was conducted in Igbo, but Bonny people during the civil war allowed Isaac Boro and one Fombo from Finima to changed the Nso Nso Nso on the church alter to Ibani the Kalabari dialect spoken in Finima.

Today Bonny people are confused about their identity. Speaking Igbo language but thinking themselves Ijaws.
