The lesson is for us to have faith in God. With faith, you can do many things that might seem humanly impossible. The mountain in that context is not Zuma rock or any geographic feature, Jesus is not a geography teacher . You have to look at it from a spiritual perspective.

Stop reasoning like mohammed ibn abdullah. Use your power of logic to discern basis information.
Is he not God again? No be God created the Geography itself?

Actually some owners try to force the engineers hand to build for them what they like. especially when it comes to cost and quality of building materials. A friend of mine who is a Civil Engineer has a big quarrel with a client regarding following government guidelines. The owner wanted the fence to be built closer to a highway as against the guideline of 50m.

I have tried to look for explanation regarding these two Bible verses after coming across them in one of Hussein Mabera's books (I think) on Christianity, but I couldn't find any. Since Nairaland is one of the most vibrant religious debate forums, I believe posting this dare is in order.
Kindly any Christian with a TRUE FAITH IN YAHWEH AS SMALL AS MUSTARD SEED COMMAND ZUMA ROCK OR ANY MOUNTAIN OF YOUR CHOICE TO ANY LOCATION as declared by Jesus himself in the two verses. If your faith is smaller than that kindly forward it to your Pastors and Daddy G.Os we will be waiting before new year.
Mathew 17:20
New International Version
He replied, "Because you have so little faith.
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a
mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,
'Move from here to there,' and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you."
ALSO
Luke 17:6
New International Version
He replied, "If you have faith as small as a
mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry
tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it
will obey you.

what's hard here to understand is why Should Islamic authorities invade My land just because of religion and impose their laws on me to follow, pay different and higher tax to them than a regular Muslim?

its not fair, not just, and not right
Lol! It's unfortunate you view Islamic history with a veil of bias and/or misunderstanding. People that are fought are those who tried tried to prevent spread of Islam after rejecting it. Also those that are charged Dimmi tax are those who are under Islamic rule and benefit from the government in terms of security of their lives and property from external aggressors, Islamic Justice system which gave everyone the right to sue anyone who might have wronged you; and other social welfare packages given to nonpreviledged both Muslims and non-Muslims.
In a situation where the Islamic government couldn't fulfill these fundamental duties for the citizens, NO TAX was/is collected from anyone! It's historically documented about a situation where Caliph Usman ordered that the tax been collected from non-Muslims be refunded to them because the Muslim forces were about to withdraw from the area.

but How can You follow a religion that spread with conquest, war, violence, rape and still claim you are worshipping God, is that sane? what happens to preaching, convincing people to see your points, if they accept fine if they don't leave them and let them face God on Judgment day, are you guys playing God? judging people, going to war because your beliefs are different? same thing Mohammed did, same thing Dan fodio did, attacking people that didn't offend you in anyway, same thing boko haram and ISIS are doing right now.
Check Option 2 again.
You can live your entire life as a non-Muslim under the protection of Islam practicing your religion as long you obey the conditions given by the Islamic authorities. What's hard there to understand?

You shall note that we are only obliged to reply guys like you simply for the sake of those reading. Anybody with a clear mind can understand and differentiate the truth from falsehood.
Every land every people and everything they owned on earth and beyond belongs to Allah (S.W.T). So He was the one who gave Muslims the rights to travel far and beyond to spread the message of Islam. Is a duty upon every Muslim so long there is an organized and recognized Islamic leadership.
And yes @true2god, that is exactly what it is. Weren't you and your fang jubilating the other day on one thread where Germany might ban face veil? This is exactly the kind of conditions Muslims have to put up with in places governed by non-Muslim authority and they are bound to abide by the laws of the land unless they feel they can't practice their religion properly. In that they are encouraged to emigrate to another land where they can be comfortable just like the Prophet himself did.
Moreover this is the same pattern the colonialists used to conquer Americas, Africa and the rest of the world, even though their main objective was to plunder and loot their conquered territories. If not for that, most of you would still be worshipping Amadioha or eventually conquered by Sokoto Caliphate.

How can you claim that forced conversion is not permitted in Islam when Muslim 'conquests' are the means by which Islam spread?
The best proof lies in the same conquest you mentioned.
When a settlement is approached by a Muslim troop under the command of a recognized Muslim head, the conquered people are introduced to Islam and offered the options.
1. Accept Islam and abide by all its commandments, or
2. Reject Islam but allow us to evangelize in your community and beyond safely, you will not harm us and we will not harm you. If there is a significant Muslim population in the settlement or there is need for protection, then those non-Muslims are given a Dimmi citizenship where they pay a Dimmi tax in exchange for the security of their lives and property.
3. If they reject both options above then they are fought until they surrender. You don't expect to keep an enemy within your walls.
So you see there's a clear option for one to keep his faith and millions did throughout history. So long it's a true Islamic conquest endorsed by authentic Islamic leadership. This was the pattern used throughout the reign of the Prophet and the Rashidun Caliphs. Anything other than this format is un-Islamic.

That's such an unfair assessment of women. Our culture has actually maimed the agenda of enjoying multiple men as the men dig into the honey pot of several women. However, It beats my imagination to thing that sex can be a dividend of making heaven. The essence of sex is for reproduction and the pleasure enjoyed is basically canal. Defiling virgins anyhow in that holy place is still unclear to me sir. angry
It's not an assessment, it's just how they are basically wired. They are emotional and intimacy to them is more of a mental connection than a physical one.
Of course sexual pleasure occupies a top position on the list of human enjoyment. Islam encourages, commands and guides mankind to enjoy it with their spouses in whatever way, form time and place they like. Unlike Christianity in Islam you get a special reward for satisfying your spouse.
Now in heaven there are enjoyments of this world of which sex is among but upgraded to an unimaginable level. The women are pure, no man has ever SEEN them not to talk of getting intimate with them. They are specially created for only you and they will serve only you rill eternity. They do not get menstrual period, they do not age.
There are streams of wine and honey flowing underneath the buildings. There are trees and gardens with the most beautiful scenery and the sweetest edible fruits.
There is going to be no sickness no sadness no loneliness no nothing negative everything you wish to see/do/have will just appear instantly.
There will be no urinating nor defecating and no aging.
There those fortunate enough to do good and abstain from evil will live their life of happiness till eternity....

Whatever a woman considers the pinnacle of enjoyment is what she'd find there in exponential proportion, that's for sure.

All the above listed abnormalities found in the south are nothing compared to what is obtainable in the north. Have you stopped child marriage, pedophilia, rape, forceful marriage, forceful conversion etc which are all permitted by Islam?

Mind you, we are talking about problems related to religion. Christianity doesn't support any of the abnormalities in the north and in the south.

The hijab encourages poor hygiene. When you cover yourself from head to toe or from head to shoulders, you prevent fresh air from drying whatever sweat that might build up due to heat. This makes the armpit smell and allow germs to build up on the skin where fresh air cannot reach due to hijab. We all know how hot Islamic nations are.

Now, tell me, do the below people look like people that smell fresh?

Don't let atheist see this your post. All those things you listed can be found in ten fold severity in the Bible.
Child marriage - depends on your definition of child.
Pedophilia - depends on the minimum legal age for marriage in a particular place.
Rape - is punishable by death in Islam.
Forceful conversion - Is not allowed in Islam.
Forceful marriage - Is also not permitted in Islam. The party involved can sue whoever is trying to force them.

The rest of your write up is trash!
People wear complete suit in north and they don't complain to anyone.
I understand something with you as well, because your women's hair and armpit smell on a normal circumstances, you assume the Muslim women's will be worst if they put Hijab on top!
Hahaha haha hahaha! Sorry my guy it's all about personal hygiene get that your girlfriend to be taking her bath regularly, use some good deodorant and loose that cheap hair attachment and she will not smell as bad as she does.
Have a good weekend.

That eazymoh of a guy needs to go to northern Nigeria to see how horrible the hijab or niqab makes the women look over there. The heat in the north makes them sweat and smell with the hijab preventing fresh air from touching their hair, neck and upper part of the body. No matter the colour of the hijab, you will still see traces of brown dirt on it.

It's not as if the ladies are even pretty to start with. These hijab ladies have tonnes of premarital sex, despite their so-called show of modesty.
Lol taking paracetamol for someone else's headache. Have solved all the problems bedeviling your women folk in the south? Go deal with your baby factory, incest rape and witch accusations first. You worry yourself with a people who chose to dress the way they like.
For your ignorant mind, any woman you see in Hijab in Nigeria, she is the one who chose to do so. And anyone who appears dirty is poor personal hygiene and has nothing to do with the Hijab itself. With poor personal Hygiene no matter how you dress even in bikini one can appear dirty.
My advice to you is get your priorities right and leave Islam and Muslims alone. Else you gonna develop a high BP .

Shurup, Its compulsory in Islam. You slave your women. Deprived them from the blessing of the Sun. Whu do the men enjoy fresh air and the sun yet the women can?
If they had say women should dress like that only in the mosque, E for no too call for questions na. Think with your head for once.
Lol! It appears you are more angry than the supposed enslaved women.
