Celebrities › Re: Hauwa Mohammed On Zahra Buhari: If Your Father Is A NOBODY, No One 'll Marry You by EazyMoh(m): 11:15pm On Nov 21, 2016
AreaFada2:
The point she's making is not obvious to most. They take it literally.

But she has a point. She's not saying girls with averagely wealthy dad parents do not marry. It is just the mad scramble to marry the kids of politically influential people.
Who knew about Zahra until late in last election campaign? If Buhari had lost, she'd be long off the radar.

The same Indimi's daughter married Babangida's son, the marriage has now hit the rock of course. Indimi's daughter was even recently petitioning Buhari, her brother's future father-in-law to intervene in dealing with Mohammed Babangida.

The rich marry the rich/influential. Their right of course but it shows a society that is fiercely elitist.
She ( the so called Hauwa) could make her point without exaggeration and lies. Marriage is a social institution and people normally marry within their social class in the society. For her to conclude that not even a DOG will come snooping daughters of nobody is ridiculous.
A fisherman's daughter cannot ordinarily expect to be wooed by billionaires' and former head of states' sons, that's not gonna happen no matter how humble a society is.
The woman is simply jealous because she has been eying those types of husband materials to come toast her, and she is furious that relatively unknown Xahra few months ago has now landed her dream husband. Therefore all she could do is blame the system.

Anybody supporting corruption and corrupt individuals no matter their camp politically, religiously, sectionally, ethnically or whatever-ly will have failure as a life companion!
May they suffer sickness no doctor has ever seen, may they be sacked from their work places and may they attempt suicide every day they wake up in the morning!
Useless enemies of progress.
Good morning.

The Gala sellers sef have dwindled in number. I saw only one Gala seller yesterday and before I could call him he has disappeared.
But seriously sachet water still sells for N5 in my local government. The difference in cost of living between north and south is getting very serious.

Muafrika2:
Ethiopia?

You do know they tried to colonise it, right? undecided

Palestinians are worshiping God?
The argument was that it wasn't colonized because they worship God, probably due to OP's knowledge of Ethiopian eastern orthodox Christianity as documented throughout history.
I mentioned Plastine as an example (same as coptic Christians in places such Egypt). FYI the large percentage of palastine was Christian throughout the colonization frenzy. In summary they were worshipping the same God as the Ethiopians at the time. So that same God could have prevented Palastine from getting colonized after all, it's the worst colonized territory because it's still crisis.
The attempt to colonize Ethiopia isn't such a serious one in fact they were simply abandoned through time and no country went back to take the country serious basically because of its lack of significant value, which is the numero uno objective of the colonialists.

Muafrika2:
They knew God.

The rest of us were worshipping demons all over the place. grin
Lol! Which God? You mean they worship God more than Palestinians?
Anyway the reason is simply because Ethiopia has no known vital response that the colonial masters could exploit.

See if they can reschedule it like they did to some other people.

I just noticed your first sentence more carefully. It's now I realize your hatred for Muslims is at par with Boko Haram's hate for Christians. So during GEJ that BH even curved out there own empire more than 10 l.g.a out of the Nigerian state is the time they attack and run away?
Am not gonna reply you again!

To be whom do you mean when you said they bastards who attack you? Do you mean Boko Haram or The General Muslim population in whose town (Biu) you are taking refuge?
Where I come from doesn't matter. I notice you conveniently ignored all my points and decide to ask where I come from.
I think it will do you good to travel down south especially to the Igboland you are romancing so you can educate yourself about the nature of people's orientation.
My final advice to you, instead of waiting your energy on aligning with southerners; an alliance btw impossible even within CAN leadership, it will do you whole lot of good if you direct the energy towards revitalizing the Arewa unity and solidarity, that way everyone stands to benefit socially, economically and politically. Just like TO Danjuma, Gowon and other northern minorities benefited.
I have nothing against Christians or members of any ethnic group as I have many awesome friends from virtually every tribe and corner of this country.
But like I said Good luck with your alliance.
I rest my case.

Nice replies from Hakani proudarewa and the rest.
To the OP I understand your resentment towards Muslims as a 2016 christian northerner, and am not gonna get in to that. Do whatever makes you happy.
However on the political aspect of your post, I suggest you take a little glimpse of history regarding how Sardauna lead northerners treating, protecting, and supporting their cause equally irrespective of their tribe or religion so long they are from the North.
Southerners in general view him as a tribalistic because he formulated policies were employment in the north is exclusively for northerners unless a qualified candidate couldn't be found the a Southerner is employed on contract and is almost immediately replaced the moment a northerner became available.
Northern minority tribes who are mainly Christians benefited a lot from this especially due to reluctance of the Muslims to enroll in modern schools. This is evident in military officers who later became the ones calling the shots in the country. Also the 1966 counter coup was championed by many northern christian officers. At that time Sardauna and Tafawa Balewa's murders were view more as an assault against the NORTH than assault against MUSLIMS.
Sadly today people like you are now assaulting that northern unity. Unfortunately mostly to your own disadvantage. Because even if Nigeria is divided in TEN countries people like you will still be under the domination of MUSLIMS.
Finally I wish you good luck with your allainces with the Igbos, but I advise first you ask them the following questions:
1 Why do they not believe Chibok girls were kidnapped?
2. Why do they think boko haram is a planned and directed giant reality series and all of you claiming victims are only fantastic comedy actors?
3 Why do they still blame mostly you (through Gowon) as those responsible for the civil war?
Good luck!

Hello Nairalanders,
First of all I'd like to thank nairaland.com for giving us the opportunity to get vacancy information while "catching" fun at the same time.
I got invitation for aptitude test this evening by Nigeria Flour Mills Plc after applying about two months ago.
Not to sound picky, but I'd love to get the details about the job welfare before I begin to commit energy, time and resources towards the test because I live in Kano and am not really thrilled to work in Lagos. Unless of course the welfare prospect is good.
Anybody who's got the same invitation please respond. Thank you.
