The so-called living (Protestants) churches should forget about Europe, America and some African Countries where there are safe haven for Christianity - Catholic Church has already spearheaded the way in all these places. They are only interested in the places they will make easy money, afraid of persecution and death. I think they should try Rwanda, Burundi, Somalia, Palestine, Afghanistan. They should go there and tell the Talibans what they are doing is not in the bible. Even in most parts of Lebanon – let them come and preach Christ in all these places and make a noise with their loudspeakers, if they are lucky enough, a kind and brotherly warning of 24 lashes will be given to them as penalty for public disturbance. But if they are not lucky enough – their heads will be blown into pieces. We have Catholic Church(s) in all these places mentioned and they facing the challenges as true Christians. The Protestants can only come in and make a hell of noise after Catholic has watered the ground. It is not enough for redeem, and co to open churches in almost every street and make noise about it. Christ knows His true Church and those faking themselves – they are only interested in extorting money from their easy-deceived followers – claiming to possess the truth. No single Protestant church in Palestine, Afghanistan etc. Let them go and be fishers of men there and stop using Catholic Church as their ocean to catch fish. Catholic Priests, Missionaries etc are killed often time and we keep on sending more missionaries. Christianity means carry your cross and follow Christ. No Cross, No Christianity. The early Apostles carried their crosses, going to all those risky places. But, the Protestant Churches are only in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Australia, America, Europe etc claiming to be doing the work of God.

Please, my fellow Catholics, never you listen to them, and DON’T REPLY again any post(s) that insult Catholic Church. But anyone who is interested to know our faith and channel it in a polite way should be given attention.

Personally, I will NO LONGER respond to any post that insults Catholic Church except those that politely want to know our doctrine(s). I can’t imagine myself responding to all these insults again.

Dear Readers, just check what most Protestant friends have constantly said about Catholic.

Compare and Contrast What the Protestants think about Catholic And What they think about their Churches (Pastors)

1. The Beasts (666) are the Catholic Popes. (But for Protestants- Touch not my anointing and do my Pastors no harm. This statement is for them and not Catholic Priests (wondering the yeye Pastors)

2. The Priests are cult members. (But for Protestants - Their Pastors are God anointed (even though most of which are self-anointed (backyard anointing) that cannot trace it to the Apostles)

3. Mary is a demon therefore Jesus Mother deserves no honour. (But for Protestants - Mummy they call their Pastors’ wives and hold them high

4. It is a sin to hang Jesus Christ pictures in the House of God (But for Protestants - Their Pastors pictures are suitable to hang in the House of God and no wahala

5. Catholics worship idols. (But for Protestants - They worship the living God (even so many Pastors have been exposed as having occultic power)

6. Catholic should repent. (But for Protestants - All Protestants are born again Christians). Me seeing the so-called self-styled born again them, and would those whose forefathers were worshipping Agbara (Idols) 100 years ago convert a church that started missionary work and introduced Christianity to them?

7. Catholic can neither perform miracles nor speak in tongues (But for Protestants - We speak tongues and perform miracles even the lame can work in our church (but I have not seen someone interpret it for people to understand and no blind man has received his sight in any place a crusade is organized except strangers you cannot identify where they come from– always back their fake miracle with “Do they have faith”)

8. How could Catholic ask Mary and the Holy ones to Pray for them (But for Protestants – their Pastors can pray and move mountain for them.

But this religion problem is common in Nigeria. Is it because of greed, poverty or unemployment?

I have never seen any Protestant Churches preaching salvation. They only preach 7 steps to be rich. The 20 steps to build a business empire. Don’t cheat God - pay your tithe. Nothing again? They only enjoy Christianity on a platter of gold.

After a lot of Catholic Priests, Monks etc have risked their lives to establish Christianity in all danger zones. Then, Protestants will come claiming to possess the truth. One of my classmates who was ordained a Priest in 2002 was killed a year after his ordination in (Palestine) trying to preach Christ, while many have been killed in No-Go-Area places.

With what I’m seeing, it’s easier for an immobile stone to respond than a bigot. But Satan takes all the blame.

Most people would agree that the experience of faith is immeasurable. "Why We Believe What We Believe," begs to differ. I don’t know if Catholic needs to convince large numbers of people to believe? If you put your hand into the fire, does anyone have to tell you to move it? Do you have to decide? No: when your hand starts to burn, it moves. You don’t have to direct it; the hand moves itself. In the same way, once you understand the true Catholic teaching, through inquiry, certainly, you do away your own belief. Nonsense!

These Protestants have problem. What the hell Catholic has done? Is this normal? I confidently believe that Satan is very much at work. These people might not know what they are doing. I’m sure. But they can't post any thread against their churches for people to discuss.

Keep on educating people who are not ready to accept seems to be waste of time. We always call Blood of Jesus, but nobody has told us where the blood came from, yet we neglect Mary. We are not to throw away those things which can benefit our faith. Goods are called good because they can be used for good: they are instruments for good, in the hands of those who use them properly. Catholics benefits from what they believe. What you see and hear depends a good deal on where you are standing; it also depends on what kind of you faith you have. No matter how you feel about Catholic, it is because you have been hardened and blinded by your own belief.

ebos is not telling them to apologies for stating just their beliefs. However, I said they must apologies for condemning the truth they don’t understand. So many things they have failed to believe.

How could someone say that Mary is not the Mother of God the Son made man? If Elizabeth could address her as Mother of my Lord (God), who again can fault it? It was Elizabeth that said “how could the mother of my Lord (God) visit me, as soon as I heard your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy”? This was when Angel Gabriel told Mary that Elizabeth was pregnant, and she should go and visit her. Luke 1.

It is only in Protestant Churches that we always hear born again – Self-styled born again them. How can the so-called born again believe that the Holy ones (Mary) are (is) still dead?

It will not be surprising that we see most fake Pastors today because the bible foretold it that false prophets or teachers will rise at the end time claiming to have the truth and will turn many away from the Lord – condemning what they don’t understand because of greed. We can today find out where this prophesy has come to pass.

We have told you to be careful and you think we dislike you or object to your going to meet your husband. Keep in mind, if we hate you, we will not advise you to be cautious when dealing with our own brother. Though, he might be a nice guy.

However, the ideas that have lighted here and, time after time, have given you new courage to face life readily, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth.

But at last, let it not be I was told - when you finally reach the point where days are governed by only darkness, and you begin to ask about daylight.

Again, one thing to know is, no one tells his enemy to be cautious. However, if you are real – then fear nothing, go along with your child – that is the only thing you want to hear.

Did you get me? Mary is the Mother of God the Son made man. Again, let us make man in our own Image - John Chapter 1 answered your question. Once you get the fact, you will accept Mary as the Mother of God.

The only interesting thing in your post is that you have technically accepted Pope as the successor of Saint Peter. We thank God for that.

Bigfred could say this because he was in the spirit. Gradually you will join Pilgrim to say sorry to Catholics. I know she will not like to say sorry again but I believe, the Pilgrim I have known will not hesitate to say sorry when the occasion call for it. Though, by now Catholics should have received over 20 sorry from her. The condition of being here is that you have accepted Catholic as the true Church. Where did Peter die? We all know that Peter moved His seat to Rome and was killed there. Since then all his successors have remained in Rome till date. Go and study how Saint Peter died and where.

I hope Pilgrim, Locoman, Bigfred & Co should stop telling their Pastors to pray for them. When we bow down in the church, it is simply a sign of respect to Mary. Meanwhile, God still manifest His Presence in His Temple. Still wondering how these churches that came up yesterday even the ones I saw when the founders established them could question the power of Catholic Church who wrote the very bible they are quoting. The bibles Catholic destroyed were written by Wyclif and Tydane because they were faulty. The bible was in a scroll (wood) but Stephen Langston who was the catholic Archbishop of Canterbury first wrote them in a printed form, and it has been there for over 600 years before these unscrupulous guys came up with their faulty bibles. Even today, if you go to Vatican you will see the scroll that contain the word of God.

If no other thing Pilgrim will agree, at least she will agree with this one. No doubt.

I cannot find this and that in Bible, but who wrote the bible? Catholic wrote the bible. Your argument is like telling your maker to have made you this way and not that way.

I have told you many times that the communion Catholic use is bread and wine. What you called coin is bread made without yeast. The jews were making bread without yeast at the time of Christ. So, any bread you make without yeast cannot rise. Unlike our own bread here, we use yeast to make it rise. Bring that issue again.

Your fear of launching attacks against your Church means there are some hidden things your church has perpetrated. There is nothing you raised against Catholic that has not been addressed – quoting the bible verses. From Infant baptism, Images, Mary etc. You have not presented any bible portion(s) that condemn Infant baptism etc. You talk of what is written by the apostles without applying what Mary said that All Generations Shall Call me blessed. Was Mary not among the disciples? Why then you have refused to apply her teaching?

However, you have just confirmed my comments on Pray or Ask. Christ or His Apostles applied the two words based on what message they tried to pass to the people concerning prayer to God. Let me believe that Pilgrim has not used the phrase ‘I pray you’ before or brother, please ask my Pastor to pray for me?

Pilgrim, why all the time, I’m quite happy or comfortable with my Local Church? Is Local Church the answer we need? Why not replace the word “Local” with the name of your church? I can’t understand what is difficult to mention just a name and the issue of denomination will close. Just wondering!

The word PRAY can be used in many ways depending what you have in mind or trying to put across. ‘PRAY’ can mean ask, implore, entreat, plead, request, inquire etc. The phrase “PRAYER TO MARY” which you see on the website you posted does not mean Catholics worship Mary. When Catholics say ‘they Pray to Mary,’ it simply means they ASK or IMPLORE Mary to Pray for them. Again PRAYER can also mean appeal or whatever and it can be used to articulate the thought you have at that point in time. When I say, “I appeal to you,” does it mean I worship you?

That is why I said, outsiders always get Catholic wrong. Catholics know who they worship and you are not to quote them wrong. Does it make any sense for Catholics to deny who they worship? If we cannot profess who we worship in public, why going behind to worship her. It then means we are not proud of worshipping Mary or idols as you erroneously claimed. Catholics give Holy Mary Honour but worship the living God. Haba!

Catholics cannot be like some other Protestants who are not proud to let people know where they worship. Probably, because of some clandestine code of belief. We are proud to give Mary Honour and will continue to do so world without end.
