meetme01: This or that, students will bear the brunt.
Ngige's ego spoilt the discussion. You refused the Education Minister's intervention and failed to allow Gbaja's meeting to settle the issue at least till May.
The same way he handled the Doctors issue. Now, they are leaving in droves. The man is a bad manager. He talks and acts before listening. To much gra gra.
The lecturers are also ready to leave in droves especially the young and brilliant ones. Those old and archaic lecturers will continue to teach with old syllabus with no 21st century input. you want someone to sign agreement in time of dwindling oil revenue? when nigeria’s debt is at an all time high? |

emmy512: well said,
students must also be compensated they should take data of all federal university students and pay them 80k each, 10k for each month spent at home for what is not their fault. if the strike enters 9th month it’s 90k each student irrespective of course or level. |

Blestedo75: ASUU may likely suspend the strike in order to appeal the judgement of NIC as directed by the Appeal Court. This will seem a more safer way to pursue its course. However, suspending the strike doesn't mean go and lecture on the part of the lecturers. This people are already battered by hunger and need money to take care of themselves. Letting go eight months salaries almost a year's income has shattered their interest in the job. I am think how dissatisfied they are already. I am of the opinion that gov should try and address this issue from an humanistic view point and not being too legalistic. After all it is the failure on their part that led to this. To cap it all, things will NEVER EVER be the same again in the university system. so when they are paid 8months, students will be ordered out of the moon to resume tests and exams, what will government do for students to address their depression and mental stagnancy for 8months for a cause not their fault ? 8months house rent wasted, 8 months of their lives wasted, some can no longer go to NYSC. If ASUU must be compensated, what of students? or you think it is easy to battle depression and also go and write tests and exams ? ASUU must never be paid a dime, who want battle depression make e battle depression, next time them go get sense before them declare indefinite strike. |

Junior lecturers in that Union will be advised to resume lectures.
I don’t think the ASUU chairman will be arrested. The public sympathy may turn against the government if they arrest the man, currently the public sympathy is against ASUU for being anti-Court, two courts.
so, urge lecturers to teach in line with court order will occur surely, and fine the ASUU chairman and his NEC 10million each to be deducted from their future salary for disobeying court order.
meanwhile if ASUU refuses to resume the lecture, what will they gain ? nothing, the court hearing can’t proceed, the appeal can’t proceed, negotiation with FG can’t proceed, nothing for them if they don’t want to resume. |

We are in sexual liberation era you will occasionally get white women that wan to have sex with you but dont want relationship. For the ladies there are many Indians and arabs and some whites who fetishize black women for sex only and not dating

lkillbrokehoes: Having sex with some of those Caucasians isn't a rocket science if you know how to play your game well.
Once you know how to package yourself, you can definitely bed any woman you deem fit, but from experience you can easily get any woman for knacks in the US than Canada. yup american women are easier to bed than canadians more so american women are far more exposed and used to black men, than canadians |

government should go ahead to sack them all. how can a sane person be on strike since February over an issue with FG, whereas you are lecturing in state government university and you have no issue with them, but yet you are striking in name of solidarity, state government pays you till around october then stops to pay you.
ASUU is owing the sokoto state government |

IPOB did something similar |
Education › Re: ASUU: Tambuwal Stops Salaries Of Striking Lecturers by Ebubu: 2:58pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
ASUU is owing Sokoto state government, Sokoto state government should go ahead to sue them to court to repay all the sums they’ve received while on strike since february till october.
no work no pay is enshrined in nigeria constitution and it is clear
government has just been overlooking it due to (obi ebere in igbo) meaning merciful heart.
but today, it must be followed to the last minute, who want die make e die
if lecturing don tire you, resign and find a better job, it is allowed. |

GeneralBuhari: Those ASUU idiots wanted 180% increment in their salaries, if not for anything, just to prove that they are not like other Civil Servants.
They did not even care about the Bad Blood such a scenario might create in the university system or the Civil service at large.
They were solely focused on their own greed.
Unfortunately for them, their greed has finally led them to their demise.
They have achieved nothing apart from losing their salary and facing the possibility of having the "Almighty" ASUU being deregistered. they went into this strike united, they came out 8 months with no salaries, two sister unions registered, two semesters gone. all for nothing |
