Please I will like to book appointment for my family on the new portal- AVITS. Please, i need advice how I can go about it cus it seems I have to book differently. We want to go as family and am worried we might not see same same date to book. Thank you.

Since July 18th I did my biometric, my online account hasn't been updated. I have raised webform severally, no head way. Kindly advise..

I applied for a visit visa and didn't book for biometric because I had earlier done that in my previous application and it's valid till 2032.

However, IRCC sent a mail to me advising me to go for my Biometric with 30days of receipt of the biometric letter.

Please what do u advise? Cus I intend to raise a webform uploading the Biometric validity letter from my previous application.

Secondly, how long will it take for them to respond to a webform?

I just found out that I didn't fill and upload the IMM 5645 E- Family Information in my VV application. My application was submitted since May, 22 2022.
Could it be the reason why it hasn't been processed?
Can I submit the form via webform? Even when they havent requested for an additional documents.

this is renewal I guess and not a first timer. This was over a month application process. This is really a long wait

Yea, it's a renewal. Well 30th May completed the 6th week. Collection Mail sent 31st and I picked up 1st June.

I also did mine April 19th. Sent a paid email and was told its still awaiting decision. The waiting is really frustrating honestly. I hope for the best though.

Yes ooo, they contacted me August 2nd to inform me that they had technical challenge and were unable to retrieve my supporting documents. So they advised me of an email to send my supporting documents again under 1week which I did. I say its a blessing indeed cus I used the opportunity to attach my cover letter which I didn't upload during my application.

I just give God the glory.

Good evening my people. It all ended in praise. Collected my passport with VISA intact today after 100days since Biometric. Delay is never a denial indeed.

Biometric Enrollment- May 10
Application Transferred to DMC- May 10
Application Received by DMC- May 10
Application Transferred to VAC- August 13
Application received by VAC- August 19
Passport picked by applicant- August 20.

I am writing in support of my application. You start to discuss every details in paragraph. Write what u feel the ECO should know about. For example:-

My salary is my main source of income that enters my account, explain any big credit entries if you have any.

Savings
If you have savings explain

Other assets if you have

Itinerary
Talk about your itinerary (attached as well).

Accommodation
Talk about your accommodation if someone else is taking care of accommodation for u.

budget
Air ticket
Accommodation
Living expenses
Shopping / Miscellaneous

Total estimate of xxxxx which will be funded from my savings account or salary from first bank and GTB.

Mention your supporting documents.

Finally convince the ECO that u are a genuine visitor only seeking entry for a tourist visa as stated in your application and will definitely return to your own country after your vacation is over. Give ties you have in Nigeria that will convince the ECO that u will come bk home.

What was the last concrete thing they said? You will need to call them to find out if a decision has been made or not. Sorry about the cost. Call again.

When I called them initially, they said decision hasn't been made. I mailed them June 25th, they replied on d 27th that my issue has been escalated to the relevant department that i will be contacted within 15 working days from the date of escalation. So, I want to be patient till next week Wednesday which will be the 15th day. Afterwards I will decide to either call again or visit TLS office @ VI.

Yes they did. That was sent in May 30th. Afterwards, I called them on June 12th, still didn't get response and also emailed them June 27th, still nothing.

Experts in the house, today makes it 60 days after biometrics. No decision mail from UKVI and no update from TLS. Response to mail confirmed the application is with them. Has this happened to anyone before
