Blocked tubes cannot be unblocked via laparoscopy, My surgery was done vis laparoscopy and they could not unblocked the tube, I was told it could only be done surgically. the disadvantage with that is that there is the tendency of it getting blocked right after the surgery.

@MyPeace with regards to blocked tubes, I had blocked tubes due to Endometrosis ovarian cyst, last year October to be precise I went for an ultra sound checkup and I got talking with my radiologist he told me of a minor procedure called Selective HSG they do to unblock tubes, I decided to give it a go and to the glory of God both my tubes were unblocked. There is really high sucess rate with this procedure and its not surgery its like HSG but with a different tool.

The address of the place is No 276A Kofo Abayomi st VI, beside Reddington hospital. they are very good there I can attest to that, and the procedure will cost you 75,000 Naira. If you need any help with any other information you can inbox me.

Big Congrats to you Arlington, this is like great news, the Lord that started this in your family will perfect every area. and to Ejadamen and Ada24 we know your victory is already perfected you shall come out rejoicing too. And all expectant mothers God is still faithful.

For all those ttc, this is my little piece in trying to time ovulation I used myself as a case study to get the right timing using my cervicall fluid, BBT and OPK. I realised that sometimes we have already ovulated before OPK picks it in our urine, so just be very observant of your own body, everybody is unique and may not ovulate the regular 14days as we are usually told.

Start observing your discharge everyday after your period you will get a kind of whitish or cream discharge which is sometimes like lotion, it breaks in your hand when you try to touch it, this one is not fertile it makes room for the fertile which comes right after it is like the white part of an uncooked egg it is stretchy in nature ie when you touch it, it will stretch, that is the one that is fertile, from the day you see that one you can start baby dusting.

Although I think it is best to baby dust on the last day of your stretchy discharge, if you notice theres no more discharge ie the very next day after you notice the stretchy because it indicates the egg is in the fallopian tube. As you observe your discharge also observe your BBT it will be very low during the fertile period and it changes dramatically once you have ovulated and becomes high.You can also confirm using OPK, I hope I did not bore everyone with this lengthy piece.

@Arlington, How you dey and our little one? One thing you should know youre a living testimony to everyone TTC, so I think you should talk about the goodness of God in your life and nothing can take that away from you, as you will carry your baby to term and comeback here to testify.

@Delphilia, my dear sister it is well, I couldnt help but weep when I read your story cos I so understand and can relate with you.
I also have blocked tubes and have asked my self a thousand times where did I go wrong in life, I have had HSG and Hydrotubation(very painful experiences) and yet nothing.
I cannot tell you not to cry cos sometimes you cant help it, but as much as possible put your trust in God. One thing I know for sure is that he never fails, and I believe he is not about to fail us.
As for DH, try to talk to him lovingly dont be angry just be gentle, men are babies and he may just see reason with you and go through the test.

My update, last month I ovulated between the 10th and the 12th day of my cycle even though its 28days. This month I decided to start checking it from the 9th day of the cycle its the 14th day and still no ovulation. Pray for me, did Menopause come early?

Mypeace I know how you feel, read Ex 23;25-26. thats what I do and I believe the promise of God towards his children, we definately shall all smile one day.

No much up date detoxed over the weekend, I thought my lungs would pop out too. Period is suposed to be on friday but am already cramping and spoting, I think its cos of the detox programme I did.

Last week was hetic for me, had my first HSG while awake and it was soooooo painful,  the result totally blocked tubes was advised to have Hydrotubation, another painful experience thank God DH was there to hold me, same result. what can I do taken my mind off it for now.

Thanks Arlington, after the sugery my Doctor in Uk said he does'nt think they can be unblocked there in the UK, but like three Drs I have spoken with in Nigeria all seem to feel it can be flushed, Dont know what to do. I hope the HSG test unblocks it as I get my result today.
I am still weighing my opions have'nt considered IVF yet. And congrats on your little one was really excited for you.

I never heard of that before that after Endo treatment the tubes could unblock themselves, I pray it does happen for me. As per the weight I am a UK size 8, I hope that is not over weight or should I work on myself as I am so TTC. God help me.

I am kinda new here and also not new. I have been following most of the post here, but never had the courage to make any contribution.
I was diagnosed last year with Endometrosis ovarian cyst, been married for about eight months then and had never been pregnant, till the discovery was told I had to have surgery, I went to UK to have the surgery which was done via laparoscopy, afterwards I was told my tubes were blocked and I cant have kids naturally except through IVF.
Getting to Nigeria I keep hearing the fallopian tubes can be flushed, dont know if anyone has ever gone through that, as I am very scared should something go wrong.
